  In the Event Viewer, I had this error SEVERAL times every second.  He goes absolutely crazy.

  Exactly the same problem, nothing Microsoft recommended was the cause, scannow and DISM commands are returned without error.

  So I went to the event viewer and scrolled down to find, when these errors began to occur. So I found a few entries initially saying things like: an attempt to move the file 'C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database\EDB.log' to 'C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database\EDB00008.log' failed indicating system 183 (0x000000b7) error: "cannot create a file when that file already exists.

  Then, I went to C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database\ and removed the files listed (e.g., EDB00008.log).

  Bingo, the errors will stop immediately.

  My guard time capsule saying "Backup failed" for a few days and I cannot access the old backup files either (when I enter my time machine it shows 'today', which is kind of scary, although I know that my old files is still there). I tried many ways to trouble shoot this problem, but none of this has worked. In my opinion, it's more a network problem and I made sure I connect Wi - Fi even my time capsule created.

  So far I have tried:

  -Delete the files from my internet (com.apple.airport.preferences.plist; preferences.plist and NetworkInterfaces.plist, etc.) and restart my mac

  -Remove TimeMachine.plist and restart my mac

  -Hard reset of my time capsule. Went through all configurations with success but then still backup missed (I hear the running time capsule when it is by train).

  I share this time capsule with my wife and she has no problem with that.

  I can only think of a possible alternation I did which could cause this problem.

  Because of unstable WiFi problem, I had deleted

  com.Apple.Network.identification.plist

  NetworkInterfaces.plist

  Preferences.plist

  or other files and reboot my mac * before * I had this problem with time capsule.

  However, this is not the first time I do it, and it wasn't a problem before...

  What model is the TC?

  Try to force the connection to 2.4 ghz using different names for the various bands... or even better to use ethernet.

  (You may need to buy love at first sight for adapter Ethernet... is an investment worth considering how unreliable wireless).

  Also give me some screenshots of the TC installing airport utility.

  Hello and thanks for your reply. The problem has been fixed. I'm not exactly sure how, but that's what happened. When I'm at a screen that says "repair windows" the cursor would not move to click on proceed. When I had almost gave up and was will wipe the hard drivbe and do a clean installation of "Windows 7", I turned on the computer and got to repair screen and the cursor was somehow operable. I clicked on continue and the computer fixed itself and has been running as good as new since. The computer is 'HP' office and running "Vista".

Both are running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  The laptop and reviews share files on the desktop and vice versa, but it cannot access the shared printer attached to the desktop computer. The driver of the printer, a Canon MP500, is up-to-date (I have no problems printing directly from the desktop) and sharing has been enabled in the properties of the printer.  When I try to install the printer on the laptop as a network printer, the laptop sees the printer but will not connect.   • You have security software installed on the computer?

  You can try to install the printer as a local printer and then check if you can print from the network. To do this follow the steps below:

  a. Click Start, and then select devices and printers.

  b. click on add a printer > add a local printer >

  c. create a new port and in the drop-down list box make sure you "Local Port" is selected and click Next

  d. then in 'Enter a port name' enter the path to the printer in network - \\computer name\printer name and click OK

  try to print and check if it works.

• Fresh install of Windows 8 the new SSD and Windows update found 127 updates and they failed with error code 80248007

  I've been struggling for weeks to try to get my computer Windows 7 update to Windows 8.1. It is not interesting to go in full history frustrating because I gave the update and now I just try to start over again. The recent measures and current situation is as follows:

  1 PC is powerful enough with i7 and 16 GB chip.

  2. new SSD this week.

  2. freshly downloaded Windows 8 Pro ISO burned to a DVD and checked.

  3 Ran install successfully and signed using my Microsoft Account.

  4 tried Windows Store for Windows 8.1, but said I need updates.

  4 Ran Windows Update in Control Panel.

  5. Windows update found 127 updates and they failed with error code 80248007.

  I don't understand how I can get these failures with a new facility.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance!

  Glad you got it going... If I had to guess, it was very likely updates .net 3.5, which has caused the problem... or maybe, Net 4.5...

  They require a process runs to complete their installation that seems to start running in the middle of updates remaining to try to install...
