HP Support Assistant works not properly?

I used HP Support Assistant again. I got to the top of my pc and everything what every time she appeared. Suddenly, I click on it and it says ' tune-up next: unknown "," last update: never ', when I clearly did it before. So I try tuning it upward. Usually, there is a spinning ball thing, but this time there is nothing and he's just sitting there. I thought that if I uninstall and reinstall but when I go in uninstall a program, I do not see HP Support Assistant. (I don't know if it's called something else.)
I'm not exactly a computer expert, so I am lost and so afraid that something crazy could happen, as HP Support Assistant is hit by a virus or something. I tried to open these tips on the view page, but he asks me what file I want to use to open it and I have no idea what to do. Please help me.

As the original installation looked he had corrupted in some way, it can not be uninstalled completely, which may explain the problem that you now when you try to run an analysis of the health.

Assuming that this is the case, I suggest to go through the procedure of uninstallation and reinstallation HPSA (as shown again below) now that the uninstall routine seems to have recorded properly with Windows this time.

Firstly, uninstall your current version of HP Support Assistant by opening windows control panel, open programs and features, make the entry for HP Support Assistant right click and select uninstall.  Once this process is complete, restart the PC.

Then download and install the latest version of HP Support Assistant of the page on the link below - the download links are to the bottom of the page.

After installation, restart the PC.

    I understand that when you try to update the drivers by using HP support assistant there is no change.   You tried to uninstall and reinstall the HP support assistant without result.

    I would try to update the drivers manually.  Here is a link to the Drivers of laptop HP Pavilion 15-e056se to get them.

    If you still experience a problem you can try to install in safe mode. Safe mode of Windows 8

    If the problem persists, I suggest contacting HP support for assistance. They can access your system remotely to help overcome the difficulties.

    I can't load my support Assistant.  I have Assistant desktop Presario with Windows 7 and when I try to open support the blue guard circle spinning and it says: an error has occurred in the upper part of the window.     We have two identical computers HP SFF ProDesk 600 G1 running Windows 10 (64-bit) with the latest Windows updates installed. On two of them today, I installed the HP Support Assistant. The version information of the help Wizard says:

    All updates to the support Assistant software have been installed on both machines.

    Everything on one of the computers in Office Support Assistant works very well and can download and install the updates that are available on the other machine, the update process stops before downloading updates with the following screen:

    Several rounds of uninstall/reinstall (with reboots after each step) did not help to remedy this problem.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Please help - it's driving me crazy! I got this to work!

    I am using Vista Ultimate and a connection (cat-5) ethernet to an xbox 360 as a Media Extender (via a Linksys router). I get the error of the video:

    I have a Happauge PVR 150 TV capture card installed, and you want to watch TV and my video files Via the Xbox 360. I can see the guide for lists of TV programs, but not to look at them without getting the message above.  I can also put in place a program to record, display the video thumbnail, but not play. Video files only will play are videos very select few years recorded only where there is.

    My graphics card is an ATI 2900XT - 512 MB of ram, with the latest drivers.

    I've seen a number of discussions on the web that describes the same (or similar) problem, but none of them seem to have no solution.

    I had Norton Internet Security installed and it has since withdrawn because of the firewall. I had thought, it could be a firewall issue, but it is not. I'm now using the Windows Firewall for now.

    I deleted and reinstalled the Xbox as an Extender media several times... no help. I have re-installed the complete drivers for the video capture card, it has not helped either. I checked and double-checked the settings on my router as well.

    The xbox is set for the share on my multimedia computer. The correct files can also be programmed for sharing.

    On the PC in Windows Media Center, I can view the TV programs, record programs etc etc etc all work.

    Any help would be really appreciated!

    Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

    You can easily set the HPSA to warn you of updates and then use your computer Support pages to download updates to install.

    Do not forget:

    It is the opinion of the Expert that you shouldn't depend on HP Support AWizard when it comes to BIOS updates.

    According to other factors in the system at the time when the HPSA trying to hit your system with an update of this type; the results could be... other than expected.

    You can set 'Notification' HPSA to prevent it from trying to update your BIOS.

    DON'T update the BIOS when you see an update in the Web page of your computer AND this update can be used to provide a fix for a problem that you have discovered in your system.  In other words: If your computer is happy, do not update the BIOS just because you think it would be a good thing to do.

    If you decide to update your BIOS

    • Make sure that ALL backups are up-to-date and complete - this means that everything you need to restore the system in case something goes wrong.
    • Understand that even when you do everything exactly right, you can end up with a bricked computer, that is an expensive paper weight.
    • Make sure you have at least your critical data on some form of external backup.
    • Unplug the USB drives and other useless material.  Keyboard and mouse can stay connected.
    • Always run power cable to update the BIOS, never on the laptop battery
    • Touch the system during the update is underway
    • Optional: Leave wireless ONbutton. You could turn off the router to ensure that there is no interruption.

    Updated the BIOS

    And, if you get in trouble despite the best intentions:

    Restore the BIOS
