HP Touchsmart 15-g014dx: recovery of Windows 8.1 plant

I'm doing a cover of the plant after a virus. I started to do a new Windows system image that does not. Trying to make a new image of disk also omitted. The main section of the hard drive is clean with still intact backup partition. Try to recover through the backup partition and the message that there is no boot device. When I try to use the backup disks (that I created) the first disc stops at 11 percent and said that the target drive is not connected. I ran the hard drive controller and the memory controller without error. Via external USB hard disk check displays the disk partitions to be healthy. All connections have been checked and the HDD to test again to verify there is not a problem with the hard drive with the result of anything being wrong with the hard drive.  Any help would be appreciated thanks...

Update-double checked hard drive by using the depth check-no problems.  Use the command bootrec.exe/fixmbr and bootrec.exe/fixboot, both completed successfully. checked the hard drive again for a partition, that the only partition that existed was the backup partition. Tried to recreate the image using the recovery disk, said even the drive is not connected. Tried to restore using backup partition, also said no device available, giving start 3F0 error (without hard disk).

Found solution... Recovery was made with Windows RE on USB 2.0 downloaded from Microsoft. Problem has been boot manager was not found. Windows RE recovered Manager startup and reloaded.  When the use of Windows RE select Windows Installer only. For once, Microsoft provided a real solution...

I am writing on behalf of my sister.  Here is his story:

Screen of her laptop TouchSmart tx2-1370us broke earlier.  It's under warranty where she bought in so he was expelled to be repaired.  When he returned, the screen has been set, but there was a note indicating that they had lost its Windows 7.  The computer loaded and executed perfectly, but it was the pop-up "is not a genuine copy of windows.  She claims that she was unable to read the sticker product key the computer good enough to get it to accept anything, she entered.  When she called the store, they said that HP would be able to help get it back.  HP sold its recovery disks which were to restore the computer.  It is a 3 disc set, marked 2 System Recovery DVD Windows 7 Home Premium and 1 additional CD labeled Application & Driver recovery CD.  CDs ran several times still to come as fruitless after the first 2 CDs.  I won't get in his experience of the customer support, but she claims that she spoke on the phone with HP 6 times in the course of a week and nothing they had to say or to offer.  Always unsuccessful recovery message.  She abandoned, almost crying at this time, and I said I'll try.

After a bit of searching I found a patch on the HP website that would supposedly solve the problem of recovery disks.  The patch was properly installed, green checkmark and all, and all 3 CDs was successfully.  The computer restarts, the screen of the Installation of the HP software ran for a while before another restart then the usual recovery failure message.  I tried many times with the same result every time.  I saved the newspaper from the last go to it and post it below.  It seems the States BIOS Vista as OS, but she bought the computer pre-loaded with Windows 7.  Could there be something in that fact cause a problem?

Someone suggested to reset the BIOS to factory default, but that didn't work either.

When you save the log to USB, I could see all of the files, there are 3 readers listed SDV (C Local disk (D & BOOT (X))

    Lets take a chance it's for W7

Go here and download the correct version of W7 (home or pro, they have not a starter edition), version 32 or 64 bit and the language, it's going to be a file iso very large, once downloaded, burn it to a blank disc DVD + R as an Image, this can be done on a Windows 7 PC, right-click on the iso file and select 'Open with' > 'windows disc image burner.

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-Windows-7-SP1-ISO-from-Digital-River/

This will make a regular windows 7 installation disc allows you to get Windows installed, use the key to see if it will be ignited.

Then, you will need to download the drivers for your specific model on the HP site and install it.

  • Model number:-n010TX: recovery of windows media 8

    Mr President.

I had my HP laptop pavilion in November 2013. It came with 8 pre-installed windows. I upgraded Windows 8.1 by March, 2014 and it worked fine for a few weeks, after which, the laptop has detected a hardware failure. I had a HP technician install a pirated windows 8 on my pc and it also gave me a series of DVDs of recovery for windows 8 to be used on a HP or compaq PC.

It is a set of 3 DVDs 'system recovery' and 1 DVD "valorization of the pilot. The problem starts when I insert the first DVD of system recovery. He didn't autolay not. I checked with control panel and made sure that the "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices" option is checked. But autopsies shows two options: -.

1 open the folder to view the files, and

    2. don't do anything.

Now, on the DVD it says: "insert the disk and follow the instructions on the screen. But there is no on-screen instructions.

I opened the folder and it contains a lot of files with names that I don't understand. Please let me know how I can get the DVD to play automatically.

    Thank you

  • The new use of recovery of Windows XP with my q Satellite Pro P300-19?

I just bought a Satellite Pro P300-19 q with Vista pre-installed. I want to use Windows XP Professional instead and understand that I must use the DVD titled "Product development - Microsoft Windows XP Professional" supplied with the machine. To do this, however, the provided information sheet is not very useful when he says only: «you will have to load this...» »

My question is: How do I do it from running the disc in the DVD player, just reveals several files which none will get me nowhere?

    Any help would be welcome.

The recovery of Windows XP product disc contains an image of a Windows XP installation ready with all the drivers and tools.

Before installing Windows XP, you should burn the Vista recovery disk because if you want to restore Windows Vista you will need this disc. So, you can restore the computer back to wherever it was when you originally received.
So far as the recovery image (Vista) is only stored on the HARD drive and so you can burn it to a DVD:
Click on the Toshiba recovery disc creator and insert a blank DVD. Then follow the instructions on the screen. The recovery disk will be created.
You are now able to boot from this DVD and install Vista with all the drivers and tools (factory settings).

When you reinstall Windows with a recovery disk, the HARD disk will be reformatted and all data will be lost. This means that as other partitions so backup your data first.

If you are using Vista it s also able to restore the factory since the HARD drive settings. Therefore, the files are stored in the folder HDDRecovery.
So, if you want to put your mobile PC, press F8. Then you can see the menu and there advanced boot options, select repair your computer.
Follow the instructions on the screen and the laptop will also reinstall.
But don't forget, this (HARD disk recovery) feature is only available with Vista, not XP.

So if you understand this and burned the Vista recovery disk, you can start to install Windows XP.
Boot from the XP Recovery disk and follow the instructions on the screen. The installation of Windows XP does not have a lot of time and this procedure is similar to Vista. After installation you also have an installation with all drivers and Toshiba tools but with Windows XP of course.
This is the content of the Windows XP Recovery disk.

My Dell laptop I have from 10th July indicates the following:

Windows could not start.  A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

If windows files have been damaged or misconfigured, Startup Repair can help diagnose and fix the problem.  If the power was interrupted during startup, chose to start windows normall7

    Start the reboot system (recommended)

    Start Windows normally

The two options to return to the same screen.

I tried the menu under the F keys, but all options listed do not seem to do anything.  I talked to Dell who ran a diagnostic test on the portable equipment and everything was ok.  They wanted then £70 the issue above which I am unhappy that have not had the laptop for a year yet!

    Hello mtb123,

    1. have you tried the steps suggested by Srinivas R in the previous post to make a startup on your computer repair using the Windows installation disc?

    2. you remember what changes you made to the computer before you start this error?

I suggest that you access the system recovery options using a Windows Vista installation disc and do a startup repair and if this fails, you can do a restore of the system from the Windows recovery environment.

You can see the previous post of Srinivas R to verify the information on the system restore.

    Hello

No - what are the two Acers come with a recovery disk?

If this is not the case, one of them would have a recovery partion, which specifically is to reinstall the operating system on it.

With an Acer, you press Alt + F10 at startup to start the recovery process.

All data are lost when you do the above.

And for the lost disc, contact Acer and ask them to send you recovery disks.

They do that for a small fee:

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  • I didt create a disk recovery for windows 7 Home premium, and I lost the original and the recovery partition

I didt create a disk recovery for windows 7 Home premium and I lost the original and the recovery partition, but I have still the product key and the same laptop that was originally installed with windows 7 copy and now im turning my laptop with a fake copy, how to restore the original copy of windows 7?

    Hello

You have certainly reduced your options

The only legal Windows 7 download available is now Microsoft, as Microsoft has stopped DigitalRiver Windows 7 ISO downloads.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery

But Microsoft only provides these downloads for Windows 7 keys to selling product at retail, not preinstalled OEM product keys (Dell, HP, etc.).

As you have licensed preinstalled OEM (Dell, HP, etc.), contact the manufacturer of your computer to order recovery media that they need to provide for a fee, if they still have them available.

Or you can also borrow the same exact retail edition DVD of Windows 7 and use your product key to reinstall.

    See you soon.
