instrument ds345 not found
I have a Stanford Research Systems generator functions (DS345) I'm trying to communicate with the help of a USB-HS QPIP. The GPIB-USB is recognized by the Measurement & Automation explorer, but the DS345 is not found.
I downloaded the driver(Labview 8.0 version, since I am running 8.6) but those VI's statement a ";". " DS345 send the Message' error.
Any advice for the recognized DS345?
I tried to restart and reconnect everything several times for nothing will do.
Of course, the driver is not relevant. In addition to what crossrulz said, check the device to see if you turn on the GPIB.

Could not initialize the TestStand engine. Path not found.
Hi, so far I have installed and removed TestStand 3.5 3 times in a row, just to still get this message (see subject) when I try to start the sequence editor. I even uninstalled all the software of NOR I had on this laptop reinstall the whole... Nothing has worked. Now I wonder, is that what I'm doing wrong? What can I do to get TestStand running?
Well well, on this message when I hit OK, another message
The sequence editor does not start. Cannot create the TestStand engine.
Hit OK on that message again just puts an end to the sequence editor leaving me with a white screen.
Any ideas what is wrong?
best regards and thanks in advance.,
Ingo
Ingo-
Sorry for your frustration. Your idea to uninstall and reinstall should work normally. The second message is just the result of the first error, so we need to understand which path is not found, and we don't know why this happens. I tried to force my copy of TestStand 3.5 to fail like messing around with the installation and I couldn't find a way to cause the error "path not found". I had a lot of other more detailed errors, but I have been unable to reproduce your message.
A few questions:
(1) what operating system do you use?
(2) you install to the default location under Program Files? You use a network somehow path?
(3) you have permission to write the locations on your system?
(4) what are you logged in as long as administrator during the installation, reboot and start the sequence editor.
(5) have you messed with any of the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments\TestStand\3.5 settings, where something is wrong manually?
(6) added user under the TestStand directory components that could somehow load and cause a problem?
If you have an installation on the system, you can quickly try to empty the directory Cfg under TestStand, so that it generates new copies of these files.

TestStand 4.2 string not found error in the language resource files
I installed the TestStand 4.2 on two Windows XP computers. On a machine it worked fine first time. On the other machine, I get the following message if poster in the login box and also in the component models: ' String not found in language resource files. "I tried uninstalling and reinstalling TestStand twice but you still get this error. This error is preventing me from being able to log in as administrator, so I am unable to use TestStand 4.2. I understand that these language resource files are supplied by the installer, but for some reason, it seems that the machine with the error cannot locate these.
The only difference between the two XP machines I can find is the location of user profiles. I note that on versions of TestStand compatible Vista, that TestStand user settings are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2\Components on XP machines. On the XP machine with the error all the user profiles are stored in C:\profiles, instead of C:\Documents and Settings. This is the standard profile used by our company so I am not able to change that. TestStand Setup recognizes this and install for C:\profliles\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2\ TestStand user parameters. Does anyone know if the location of user profiles is important, or if there is another cause of this error?
Kind regards
David
David-
The cause of the channels being found is probably at the first launch of TS, the language files are not found. The language files contain default values, and these values are kept as actual values during the recording of the configuration files. For example, the default administrator name and the default folders in the Insert palette. I would recommend that you delete the file Users.ini and Templates.ini in the configuration directory and this should address your current behavior. I don't know why the connection appeared a problem because I was able to use the blank password on the user 'String not found in language resource files. If you still have problems with the connection, let us know.
You remember something unique about how you came to this situation that caused this to happen?

nilsdev - nimdbgk Module not found
Hello
I just installed a PCI-6509 and NOR-DAQmx 8.0.2 on SUSE Linux. I intend to use the ANSI-C drivers in a C++ application. I have not installed LabVIEW.
I started working my way the Configuration Guide, mainly to check that I had installed everything correctly and have reached the point where nilsdev is executed. On the surface, everything seems to install OK.
When I run nilsdev I get the following error:
FATAL: Module not found nimdbgk.
Is how important it?
Of course, it does not nimdbgk, but it doesn't look like it has been installed.
In usr lsmod | grep or returns
nipalk
Nation
lspci is the map of NOR (but he seems to have the wrong number on, not sure if it is a problem)
05:01.0 class ff00: National Instruments devices 7085.
Part of LabView nimdbgk is why I don't have it?
All you have ideas?
Thank you.
Hello
I am not that kind of information officially, but I would speculate that it would be in version 8.9.
«NOR-DAQmx added support for 64-bit user mode in NOR-DAQmx 8.9 (ANSI C) and NOR-DAQmx 8.9.5 (ANSI C, LabVIEW 2009 and .NET Framework 3.5).» This now allows the development of 64-bit application on 64-bit operating systems during development for a 64 bit (ADE) Application development environment. »
The outputs by the trend that has occurred with Windows basic drivers, what would be my best guess.
There are a few forum posts that indicate that people have had DAQmx working on x 64 systems, but with the extension of the - m32 for compilations, this isn't really 64 bit. Unfortunately, the positions are open and do not contain really any resolution as such.
For example this or that. I just searched "DAQmx Linux 64-bit".
I hope it helps a bit. I'm sorry that I don't have a definitive answer.
Kind regards

"Mesa.dll is not found" from CVI 2010 installation
When I launch an executable file that has been installed from a distribution kit created with CVI 2010 (360), I get the message "Mesa.dll is not found." But I do not see that the file is installed in C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\Shared\Mesa. If I replace this file with a mesa.dll more than a previous version of the CVI, my newly installed executable launches properly.
Hi mrtqs,
While testing on this issue, I came across a similar problem. From my understanding, the CVI Run - Time Engine will also install of VS 2008 C++ Runtime parts. According to that the CVI Run Time options you choose to install a different part of the runtime C++ 2008 VS will be included in the installation. It seems that Microsoft has been able to modify the runtime C++ VS 2008 for some parts, but not others, which is what causes the problem. As a result, there are a few options:
1. install the runtime full CVI with default settings
2 leave out the ActiveX module if does not necessary
3. install the runtime C++ 2008 VS separately on the deployment computer.

AutoCorrelate not found in the DLL
Hello
I get the runtime error after when I try to use the function AutoCorrelate in Labwindws 2012.
Function AutoCorrelate: (return value is-5094 [0xffffec1a]). Function not found in the scan DLL library.
I have included advanlys.h at the top of my function and added the LFP to advanced for my custom libraries of CVI analysis. I am tring to use the sample code I copied and pasted from the online help documentation. I can't locate the corresponding advanlys.dll the advanlys.h wants to make reference.
Example code below:
#include "advanlys.h".
Double x [256], rxx [512];
int n; n = 256;
Uniform (n, x, 17);
AutoCorrelate (x, n, ALGORITHM_CORCOR_NO_NORMALIZATION, rxx);
Same here, but I noticed that my sharing folder is the same as my old CFS files developed with CVI 8.5.1.
CVI shared Dir = "/ C/Program Files (x 86) /National Instruments/Shared/CVI.
I looked more closely in this folder structure and concluded that:
C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Shared\Analysis
published the nianlys.dll of CVI 8.5.1. My new installation of 2012 has made this squash a copy later.
Maybe it's the first of many cases where older versions with new conflict. I regret trying to keep the old version of the CVI on this machine to support the previous facility.
Thank you for leading me in the right direction!
Best regards
Phil

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.
Method 1:
Download the DirectX from the Microsoft Web site and then try to install it on the system. Click on the link below.
Use DirectX Runtimes (August 2009)
Method 2:
I suggest you try a SFC scan. Follow the steps to perform a scan of the SFC.
1. click on the Start button
2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories
3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option
4. in the menu that appears, click on the option "Run as Administrator"
5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow , and then press enter
7. a message will appear stating that "the system of scanning will start"
8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your XP CD for this process to continue
10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.
For more details, see the article mentioned below.

nismECATAdapter.dll not found error - cRIO 9082 RT
Hello
I'm a real-time 9082 cRIO system deployment. During startup, the console displays the error above, but I can't find anything referring to this dll online. It is as if it does not exist. My best guess is that it's an adapter of EtherCAT OR? Here is the full output to start the Console:

Looks like you need to install the driver the cRIO EtherCAT or your system. Here is a link to EtherCAT for Windows driver: OR-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT 14.0 - Windows

Executable built with CVI 8.1 error-5093, the analysis library is not found
Upgraded to 8.1 Labwindows/CVI of Labwindows/CVI 7.0 development machines. An earlier application was built using the ICB 7.0 and installed on a test computer. The same code built with CVI 8.1 is any error during execution of the function stdev, 5093 error code has been generated. (From analysis.h: LibraryNotFoundAnlysErr =-5093, / / the analysis library was not found.) Tried to build a facility with 8.1 and installation on the test computer and application errors still executing the stdev function. Back to the same application, but built with CVI 7.0, it works fine. Am I missing something with the build in 8.1 options? Or is it something in the workspace or project? Please notify. Thanks in advance
Hi Tommy,.
In CVI 8.0, the implementation of the analysis library has changed a static library that is linked to your .exe in a DLL that must be loaded when running. If you rebuild your source code and you want to deploy to another machine where the CVI environment is not installed, then you must re-create an installer in CVI 8.1 distribution, so that he can pack the analysis as well as your program library.
You can confirm whether the analysis library is installed by searching for C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\Shared\Analysis\nianlys.dll in your target machine (although it is not enough to simply copy this file manually).
When you create an installer in the CVI, be sure that, in the tab drivers & components in the dialog box change Installer , support of analysis element under the Group of LabWindows/CVI Run-Time Engine is checked.

Hello
VMware Fusion 6.0.2 doesn't boot to the top of any virtual machine. Suite error messages may appear (German translation of error messages):
* / dev/vmmon is not found, no such file or directory
monitor the initialization failed
* internal error
/ dev/vmmon does not exist as com.vmware.kext.vmx86 could not load, see below for excerpt of syslog.
Already rebooted, repaired file system rights and manually uninstalled and reinstalled VMware Fusion 6. Follow the instructions in KB 1003484 (http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1003484). Question persists.
My hardware: MacBook Pro early 2011, model 8.2. OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
Any ideas?
Kind regards
Corben

Just discovered, that certain VirtualBox kernel extension which interfere with VMware Fusion.
After you have uninstalled them via http://www.virtualbox.org/svn/vbox/trunk/src/VBox/Installer/darwin/DiskImage/VirtualBox_Uninstall.tool, VMware Fusion 6 now works.
Too bad

I tried to update my iTunes this weekend. Now, I can't open it I get this error: AVCFPlayerSetclientEnforcedExternalProjectionMethod is not found in the AVFoundationCF.dll dynamic link library is on a Windows 7 computer. I tried to re - install outside of iTunes and repair. But no luck. Should I uninstall iTune and then re-install? Help.
These errors can usually be fixed by removing the offending dll, then fix the component it is programs and features Control Panel. AVFoundationCF.dll belongs to Apple Application Support and are normally in
- C:\Program Files\Fichiers Files\Apple\Apple Application Support or
- C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
where the name of the Program Files folder may vary depending on the region.
For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review other cases and a list of documents to support further down the page, in which case one of them applies.
More information area has direct links with the current and recent if you have problems to download, must revert to a previous version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for the problems of performance or compatibility with third-party software.
Your library must be affected by these measures, but it is also related to backup and recovery advice if necessary.

I'm trying to compile the "Hello World" code C base with gcc, but the following error message:
LD: library not found for - introduction
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
The code itself is nice, he ran into another computer with no problems.
First gcc had manually, the problem, installed and then uninstalled and installed with homebrew and still have the problem. How can I fix?
(Have the 5.1.0 version of gcc)
Okay, so nobody has responded, but I found a solution. This is the version of gcc, apparently more recent versions have this bug, one that works and compiles the codes is the 4.9 version, in case it would be useful to someone.
