  It's your product user guide. Here is your product specifications.  It's your place of originprodut.

  You can upgrade up to 8 GB maximum. There are 2 slots available to customers & you can buy an identical plus 4 GB of RAM to upgrade both can act as configuration double track for better performance.

  Regarding the frequency of the RAM, the user guide gives no reliable information for Celeron processors. In order to better you find system through BIOS setup Diagnostics soon after off the laptop.

  See Page 66 Chapter 5 removal and replacement of the procedures of the user guide & you can see that, for installation of memory you need to remove the motherboard of the system. It's better to give you the nearest service center HP for the upgrade because they have all the necessary tools.

  Yes-HARD drive is the hard disk. No way to know, without more testing, if it's hdd or other material causing a no don't start machine. Try to remove to see if you get any further as I mentioned above.

  Unfortunately, the HARD drive is not the best thing to do in your model in particular (you need to remove the top cover and the Assembly of the speaker), however the procedure is detailed from Page 52 of your maintenance & Service Guide.

• TouchSmart 520: The computer is stuck on the opening of the screens.

  Hi all

  It will be a little long because I try to give as much detail as possible. I have a desktop HP Touchsmart 520. The other day, I want to run an OS based on Linux from a USB key. I did once before, so I did what I did the last time. I unplugged, take off the back, then removed the hard drive, then plugged the USB key. I was hoping that since I didn't drive hard in, the computer would then operate the stick because of the boot order. He did bring up the screen of the OS, but gave me an error on failure. I turned it off and then return and go to the bios to change the configuration. I found the USB from the menu, but couldn't move, so I tried to disable the first option for the hard drive. I plugged the USB back in, but it does not still work, so I tried to drive hard back. Something happened somewhere in all this, the computer froze, so I tried to hit different buttons to see if I could get an answer, but nothing, so I cut. When I cut back on, I can't no longer to enter the BIOS. The usual HP screen comes up and says press ESC to enter on the start menu, and if I hit him in the first second coming he will take me to a black screen that has my computer on this subject record, starting with the processor type, processor speed, etc. (if I hit any button in a moment the computer hangs on the HP screen). This black screen is as far as I can go and the computer always crashes here, no matter what button I push, but it is said in the lower right corner of the activity for any button I pressed on, for example if I press F2 on the HP screen, it will go to the black screen with my characteristics and in the lower right It will read Diagnostics; If I am pressing F10, it will do as above but read the configuration. He never goes beyond this screen. I know that's not my hard drive, because he wasn't in when it started happening, nor is it possible that a virus has been on the USB port, as it's a BONE checked and I do not use this stick for something else.   seems that there is a corruption of the bios. First try to make BIOS clear CMOS.   Hi, I have a HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-n225nr Notebook PC, which is optimal for workloads but (A10 2.10 GHz AMD quad-core processor, came with 8 GB of ram and 750 GB HARD drive), however, recently tried to make a few games but this laptop has an intgrated GPU. I read that the upgrade of RAM will do not much but I ordered a second card of 8 GB of ram, because I want to increase the framerate by every single FPS I can ge and I'm coming soon, so I'll have 16 GB of RAM and the fact he'll be dual channel is a more. I have also read that by upgrading the RAM you can upgrade the amount of ram used by your integrated gpu because there will be more RAM available for use. I don't know if by upgradinng the RAM VRAM happen automatically or if I'll be able to do it manually, I read that you can do it via the BIOS, I don't know for shure if possible.

  So, is it possible to increase the fraction of my RAM than my integrated graphics card uses?, if yes, how?

  If it is not possible to what can do to increase my FPS on the game?, because I can't change a dedicated GPU because it's a laptop.
