  Well, my problem is that I just put in windows Vista Home Basic on my computer children which is the painfully obsolete hp vectra vt400. the only thing that I have the perfect working condition model is the driver to get the addaptor ethernet edge to work. don't care to have everything for the motherboard, but it's not like I can get the computer which does not recognize the ethernet to go online. and just to get a simple trouble me situation. basically where can I get that I have to get the model online. Help, please.

  In this case, as there is a single short beep, that is nothing to worry. It is just the power on tests start, or by MAIL. If you had a long or repetitive beeps, then it would probably be an indicator of a problem.

  3 beeps means memory configuration error. Try to remove all except one module of memory in the nearest location of the CPU and you try to boot your PC.

  You are lucky it still works. It was a reliable old beast.

  Maybe your wife was trying to tell you that it is time to replace it with a new PC. Your old Vectra has seen quite a few years.

I also have an antivirus valid and internet securty suit (Cyberdefender) with activation code. I don't turn on updates Windows, nor what I download the windows security updates. The system works without a hitch for a few weeks, say 6 or 8 weeks. All viruses and spyware are regularly detected and deleted. So despite some of windows exe files is corrupted. What happened 5 - 8 times in the last 18 months. Whenever I call the mechanic to format the HARD drive and reload all the programs. I have 512 MB of RAM and 60 GB HARD drive HP Vectra model that was purchased in January 2001. If, after loading costs/new Windows XP should go to Windows updates and also install updates for my printer, but also scan drivers? What should be done to overcome this common problem? Please give appropriate advice.

  I think to buy a new computer (I want to wait because I need one right now) or just work on the one I have already.  One thing that is important to me is to be able to play games on my computer, I'm looking for a video card. I don't really know if you need some requirements to install some cards or those to get but I found one that is less my price range and looks good for what I need.

  What I need to know, is if I can use this video card:

  01 G-P3-N945-LR of EVGA GeForce 9400 GT 1 GB DDR2 PCI-E 2.0 graphic CardW with the computer I have. I have a HP Vectra mini tower that was made for Windows 98, but has been upgraded to Windows XP. • Creating Windows 2000 Pro VM Media update?

  I have Windows 2000 Professional upgrade installation disc, the drive SP4. I tried to install from the disc of Windows 2000, which is an upgrade, but cannot get the program to recognize a number of previous versions. Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE, even a start HP Vectra 500 product recovery CD which was the initial purchase. All legal upgrades.   To answer the easy question first. To remove a virtual computer, simply to click with the right button on the VM in the Favorites and select "remove disc.
