• Web forms work when the site is not hosted on Business Catalyst?

  I launched a site Muse this week on AWS and successful web forms the test, and then stopped sending confirmation emails when the DNS was changed.  The form is not error. Emails are not just come through.  Any thoughts?

  AWS does NOT allow unless you have an email as [email protected]

  GoDaddy (that I use for me and my clients) allow Gmail, yahoo, bing, etc. users to receive emails from muse contact forms.

  It works perfectly in IE and Chrome I opened client Gin through the same URL, ex: http://10.0.0.28:7778/forms/frmservlet? config = gin4
  
  However, if I try the same URL in firefox it shows a large gray square on the page with the message "click here to download the Plugin.
  
  Clicking on install opens a small popup saying no appropriate plugins have been found, it is said to the inside and unknown Plugin (text/html) and a button to install manually is displayed.
  By clicking this button, I am taken to this page: http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.4.2_06/index.html
  
  I lost track on the number of times where I have installed uninstalled and reinstalled many versions of java not only the version 1.4.2_06.
  
  I tried to solve this problem for a few months now with no luck.

  This applies only when you use the dynamic as versions mentioned in the above article that you don't not firerfox as far as I can tell from the basexyz.htm that you posted.

  Bascally there are 2 parameters that are used by browsers to check the version: jpi_classid and jpi_mimetype. jpi_codebase and jpi_download_page are used to provide information to download the plugins only appropriate in the correct versions.

  The jpi_classid and jpi_codebase parameters are used by Internet Explorer (and as it seems too much chrome); jpi_mimetype and jpi_download_page are used by browsers like firefox mozilla based.

  You have specified

  jpi_classid=CAFEEFAC-0014-0002-0006-ABCDEFFEDCBA
  

  so that means you want to use 1.4.2_06 with internet explore. IE is a bit lazy in this regard (as far as I know) and uses specified version or any higher if you have installed everything (beginning just your forms app and take a look in the java console which version you use).

  Now, firefox works as expected and requires the exact version: 1.4.2_06. The firefox version recognizes your side 1.6.0_20 which is not the version would be asked at all.

  As mentioned in the article, you can use dynamic versioning to specify at least one major version that should be used:

  jpi_mimetype=application/x-java-applet;jpi-version=1.6.0
  

  would mean you can use any Plugin Java 1.6.0 (from 1.6.0_01 to 1.6.0_21)

  If you for example use a any version of the YPI you could simply do

  jpi_mimetype=application/x-java-applet
  

  to run it with any installed YPI (from 1.4.x to 1.6.x)

• Impossible to get a php form and web to work properly

  I have a web form in html and php code that works fine in my old site.

  I've just updated my site and must transfer the code for the html form in a newly designed page.

  I copied and pasted the form into the new page. The form set up and working properly, except that it does not send the form to my email address.

  Everything seems to be the same as my old page but obviously I don't not linked them correctly. I have attached the code for two html files. Thanks for any help. Owen

  No, the only action you need is in the form tag. The action should the path to a script. GD provides scripts for a variety of scripting languages on the server they "support" side (note the quotation marks in the air).

• My treatment in my web form credit card does not work!

  In the credit card section of my web form of treatment, the expiry dates of the credit card on my live Webcam page beaches 2007-2015.  I have customers complain because their cards expire in 2016 and they can't buy our products.  When I go to BusinessCatalyst to change the web form, the beaches of credit card expiry dates are 2009-2020.  British Colombia, the date ranges say one thing, but they do not reflect on the live page.  Help, please!

  To make the changes on the payment page, you need to do them in the record - buy the interior layout, layouts of the add-on of online shops. You can change the form in the Web Forms section, and then copy and paste that in registration - buy page layout. You cannot use a module here.  Once the changes are made to the record - layout buy you see them on the site.

• Problems with ASP Master Page for examples of measurement Studio Web Form

  I loaded Measurement Studio Web form examples (ASP projects) in VS 2008. Running within VS proceeded without problems. Then I built and published on IIS 7 for ASP pages

  Please make sure you have defined the order of evaluation of the dimensions. By default, no dimension is in the order of evaluation. To make precision work correctly, you must add the dimension of accounts to the order of evaluation.

  1. Administration-> manage-> Dimensions
  2. Go to the evaluation order tab and add accounts to the order of evaluation

  Let's say you set the minimum precision: 0 Maximum: 0 to currency no accounts, then, when you enter 34.2 in the form online, it will be displayed as 34 but the value goes in essbase as 34.2

• Web form generated emails not received by domain based email

  So my problem is that I made a web form for a site hosted on godaddy.  It is more than an order form that simplified the contact form and should reach to "'[email protected]' form 'example.com'." We enter information into the form to test, it is said to be received, but never appears in the mailbox for "[email protected]" not the Inbox, junk e-mail or anywhere else.  BUT it doesn't work when I send to a Gmail, flawless while I was building this form/page, I tested with my personal gmail account and it came through every time.  I ran into this issue one each of my sites hosted on godaddy, works fine on gmail during the test, but WILL NOT send the server host / domain.  I'm not tech or expert coding, that's why I use muse.  But does anyone have any suggestions / answers that can help?

  There is a simple reason for this.

  1. When a customer registers on a Web site, they register with [email protected]

  , I tested a web form in the staging environment (villagekidsdentistry.businesscatalyst.com) and it worked perfectly.  Then I pushed the live site and now the shape will not deliver to one of the notification e-mail.  Send the form using a Yahoo e-mail address and I get a notirication of error of delivery in this Yahoo account "[email protected]'by saying,'an error occurred trying to deliver mail to the following recipients:"

  In fact, how work web forms is that they don't know themselves whether they are thrown into an approval task or when you submit.

  The best way to control these aspects of a web form is to have an article on your online form that is always hidden.

  I call this section my 'Control' section and add as many fields that I want to do, so that I can control appearance and behavior of my web form as well to grain I have.

  So I would create this 'Control' section at the bottom of the form, its visible set to false property (in this way, everything you put in this article will be automatically invisible too) and I would create a text field inside called the 'stage '.

  Then, I would write a rule of web form (not a business rule) similar to this:
