  As far as I can tell Mozilla (the maker of Firefox) to approve nor does not endorse Uniblue. There is a long list of people who have had problems after installing it products. The internet connection drops without model except that diagnosis shows a cable ethernet disconnected between the Airport Extreme and the ISP modem. I can install an older Airport Extreme I replaced about 4 years ago because there was no support for WPA security with the same Ethernet cable and the connection does not fall. I can also plug the MacBook with the power cord and connect via Ethernet. Is it possible that the Ethernet WAN port for the modem to ISP is down? The reason why I ask is that I install the older airport with the same ethernet cable. (I have other cat5 cables, but none of them are cross-cable as the cable provider ISP) I don't want to leave the network upward with the old airport because I have no security.  I price a new Airport Extreme and a cable crossed, but I'd feel better spending the money if I can be pretty sure that the 5th generation extreme is a failure. Anyone have any ideas?

  You don't show us the summary for the AE, but if you run 7.6.4 firmware, it is less stable with some modems than previous 7.6.1 (this is why the old AE does not fall).

  Please firmware downgrade to the AE to 7.6.1. For this, hold down the option key while clicking on the version number of the existing firmware. A list... Select 7.6.1 (DO NOT USE 7.6.3. it is poor..).

  

  The latest version of AC AE is even worse... so I recommend you to buy a different brand of router... you can continue to use EI as WAP, as long as you take on their track, it should work ok.

  Try a different cable to connect the printer to the computer. A firm but not extreme pressure to insert connectors to ensure they are returned completely.

  Check in Control Panel Device Manager. Locate the entry for the USB ports. Look to see if one is 'X' ed the red X or "hit on" yellow!

  Unplug the printer from the computer. Remove the USB ports [right click of the mouse on the list, select uninstall from the context menu]. Then, restart Windows. The USB ports must be reinstalled.

  Plug the printer back. Make sure it is running.

(of the Office Unit) - I click on 'Yes' - a progress bar works - and almost finished, the process fails "organizing elements - year error occurred while reading files or writing files to disk."  The drive is may be full, or there may be a problem with the source media. "In fact, there is a large amount of disk space on the destination drive.  My wife and I use (for many years) this program for semi-professional use.  It is CRITICAL to avoid any corruption - indexing / connection between the miniature Organizer reference images and the image stored outside files MUST be properly maintained.  What is causing this error message, what needs to be done to solve the problem?  I have the couple of times when this has happened, I went on the storage disk, delete manually imported just files, run the process - and, for this 2nd attempt, the process completed successfully.  Of course, this isn't a long-term solution, nor a procedure appropriate - and I always worry a sort of corruption may be introduced-, please notify the right solution.  Also - I have been informed and practice, not allowing the catalog to grow beyond 5 000 images (I began a new catalogue).  With the current batch of photos, I'm importing (more than 300 images), I get also a message "notice" to save the catalog - something I think I'll make to an another external drive, for redundancy even beyond the present RAID 1 storage - however, this solves the problem, I ask you to help

  I would recommend lance the Downloader of the Organizer (Ctrl + G) and in the Advanced dialog box, select your device (camera OR card reader) and choosing your external hard drive rather than the C: drive or another volume internal. See the image below.

  I just got 3 64 GB SanDisk Extreme USB Flash Drives and all three show SMART failures to reassign bad sectors. I struggle to believe that all three could be bad on first use. I use a program on a Mac (SoftRAID(4)) to certify all drives prior to use, including the SD cards and USB keys. I've never seen a failure so far.

  I agree that it is unlikely to have failed on the first use. Most likely, it is a problem with the SMART attributes. IIRC sandisk can't CHIP for this product so it formats without error, and data can be copied onto the discs with success, I wouldn't worry too much on this subject.

  I turned off these 3 for now hoping to free up resources (doesn't help anything).

  Memory and CPU use is nothing more than normal. It is sufficient that the virtual machine is so slow to the point where they are almost unusable (block-by-block refresh screens)

• Failure to screen on Satellite C55D

  Hi all

  2 months ago I bought a C55D satellite. For 4 or 5 days, it appeared a few black lines on the screen until the full black. "The diagnosis after sales Service of DARTY, the french retailer was: guaranteed refused since failure screen due to pressure or shock on the screen" and they offer a repair to 560 euros.

  Hello! This is my first post. I came here for support on one of my older Dell systems today, my only first. (I did recently acquired another). It was my first computer, a helping hand me down from my parents back in 2011. He never ran well. I blamed it on a lot of things to the wire of time, starting with the aging of processor Pentium 4, bad caps on the motherboard to hard drive errors. USB works, extremely slow performance, stops and weird/sali post codes at the start are all symptoms. Once I hit him (not very hard) once out of frustration and she completely restarted. Then, it worked fine for months. This weekend, however, I was reached behind the unit to plug in a USB key (the front USBs long quit date, as I mentioned above) and it stops without any sign of restart. I have tried unplugging for a while, and then reconnect (it worked in the past, it has happened before), but it did not help. I checked on the inside, and the Green LED on the motherboard was off. Then, I started to suspect the PSU. A paper clip test confirmed my suspicions... and I could see the capacitors that have failed inside during the inspection below. I tested the power supply that failed but in my other 4700, and it failed. I borrowed the PSU work from this computer and put it in one with faulty POWER, but instead of starting block flashes an orange light by the power button. The power failure took the motherboard with it: (?) Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

• Weak signal with airport Extreme

  Another extreme airport would be the perfect match to extend the signal of your "main" AirPort Extreme, but an AirPort Express pourrait point be good enough for your application, if the budget is limited.

  Ideally, the second airport would be located in the middle of the area where you need more wireless signal strength and then connect to the 'main' airport using wired Ethernet wired, permanent.

  It is possible to have the second airport to extend the first using a Wi - Fi connection... IF... the second airport is where he can receive a strong signal from the first airport.  A good location is at halfway between 'primary' airport and the area that needs more wireless coverage.

  Remember that when you extend wireless like this, there is always a loss of about half of the potential wireless speed on the network, then the result will be a network with the best range, but reduces the maximum speeds.

  The more you have line of sight between the airports, the network will be operated. Or, another way of saying the same thing, is the 'extension' airport to expand the speed of the signal it receives. It can make the stronger... wireless signal but can't go faster.
