  Hi all, I need help.

  I have a client that is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit edition. It has Adobe InDesign CS3, which he had bought on the internet about 2 years ago. The program has been installed since then. Just today, he began trying to use the program.

• Tecra A8 downgraded XP and none of the Toshiba Utilities works

  Hi all

  I just got a new Tecra A8 - it is downgraded to XP, and none of the Toshiba Utilities work (energy saving function keeys, keyboard shortcuts, etc.). When I try to reinstall - there is always an error message (missing dll or sth similar) - I tried to update the bios - couldn't - once again a missing file!

  any ideas how to solve this problem? at least the fn keys (fn key works - I see a light come on when I press - not the functions well!)

  May I ask you what Tecra A8?
  I visited the Toshiba driver page and it seems that Toshiba provide XP drivers for two different units A8 PTA83Eand PTA82E.

  You should be 100% sure that you are using the correct drivers!
  In addition, Toshiba released the Installation Instructions of the document on the page and to my knowledge it s necessary and important to follow this line of installation guide. The proper installation order is necessary!

  Computer of my wife's an A200-JA1, running Windows 7 Home Premium, 32-bit, but the same problem existed in Windows Vista, this isn't a problem to upgrade. If you drag the mouse to the top of the screen, you get the menu to access the shortcut keys, but pressing on Fn + F__ does not work with the function keys. This is more important if she forgets her mouse at home - it leaves the default disabled trackpad, but without having a mouse to access the menu of trackpad at the top of the screen, it cannot activate the trackpad by pressing Fn + F9. It does not work. I tried several other - Fn + F6 or F7 to decrease/increase brightness, Fn + F5 to change the external display, etc., but none of them work.

  There is a small green light between the F10 key and keys 9/0 below and when you press the Fn key on the keyboard, this little button (which looks like four arrows pointing outward) turns on, but that's all.

  What shortcuts are you trying to use? If they include the shift or Alt/Option keys, then ESTK is raised to the top because it is this that these keys if you hold either button down on launching a script.

  Do you need to make updates at all, or did the reboot take care of things? (It's funny how sometimes a reboot will be just clarifying). I guess that your SEO in UEFI with the correct prompt by default/Legacy? You will need to enter in the BIOS for these amendments, which may be different from your previous version of BIOS and the current.
