HP2000 -: recovery of personal records
I did a system restore. I saved personal files to a flash drive. After system recovery, I did a restore of file with the flash player. He installed the files and gave me a shortcut on the desktop, but they may not return from whence they came. How restore you them to their place origonal. Photos for example.
The service backup of Recovery Manager is not an app backup breath-destined only to be used in an emergency when it comes to an unexpected recovery. It simply restores in a folder and it's owner task to move the files to correct the situation. For instance - move photos to a photos folder under your user name.

Recently, I had a disk failure warning hard immenent and proceeded to back up personal files on a flash drive. I then did a system restore and everything seems fine. Then I tried to restore my backup file personal of the flash player and the result has been an icon on the desktop "shortcut to system recovery files" but I can't get my files? what I am doing wrong?
Thank you for taking the time to answer, but I was no longer able to get into windows or anything else. The hard drive failed completely, and I decided to invest in a new laptop instead of the cost of the repairs. They had a special Christmas... good price. Thanks anyway for your help.

Libraries vs displacement of personal records
Hello
I'm about to reorganize my hard drive with my personal documents/music etc. on a separate partition.
I know that you can move the position of real fault of your personal records from in their properties by selecting "move".
I know also you can instead add a folder to the library 'music' etc. and change the default save location in the new folder.
Are there and the advantages or disadvantages of do on the other?
I heard that some libraries controls have been hidden in Windows 8. I don't want to get used to things go and then find out that they removed the feature in Windows 10
Libraries are (at least now) always in Windows 10, but they continue to be larger, and only available to show as an option. Probably because it is complex for a basic user understand the difference between the local personal folders (called Shell Folders), or the views of library (more like the search results) and OneDrive online storage. To make it clearer where your files are really, they abandoned the view hybrid library and explicitly indicate to the user where the files are: 'This PC' or 'OneDrive. There is no gray area, unless you opt to go back on as a power user libraries.
Honestly, I think I would re-do just records of the shell, as you wish, because it seems that libraries are going this way. And pointing than those to the new location still work with libraries so that they continue to exist.

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 10. All my files were transferred to the place of purchase (large chain store with technical support). Everything was fine until I upgraded to 12.4.0.119. Now, I've lost all my music from CD that I have loaded record in and personal that I did. I tried the suggestions posted in the community either looking in the files previous but even going back until 2014 they are the same.
See the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library. I suspect that you have not used the right approach to access the previous library.

Recovery of the records by using the Ref Cursor or indexes per Table (which is better)
Hi all
I am interested to know if there is a performance (or other) advantages to return a result set from an Oracle stored procedure for a client application (for example, in Java) by using a Ref Cursor or Index by Table, respectively. Most of the people I met who know Java seem to use a Ref Cursor but did not say why this method is preferable. I'm not too familiar with Java and do not have the opportunity to test the difference between either method, but I am very interested in the other user forum about this view, gauging

Hi zerathul,Thanks for the quick and helpful response. A REF CURSOR would be the best solution if the same set of results (content and number of records returned) should be dealt with by the application of the 'customer '. I'm guessing that maybe in this situation 'theoretical' that there might be less network traffic to return the set of results through an associative array,

Kevin.
Yes, it would always be the best solution, because an associative array would mean collecting all the data in memory of expensive PGA on the database server before they pass any return on the network, while a fair Ref cursor is to feed the data over the network (maybe a little extra load, but you were unlikely to notice). Also the client application would treat a ref as of rows returned cursor data recovery and could treat them upon their arrival, an associative array is a collection of data which will then be entirely spent before any treatment could be done and then the treatment should go through the entire table to do.
REF CURSOR will also provide other information such as the error codes etc regarding SQL if necessary. If you get an error when filling a table on the side of the database, it is not so easy to recover this error to the client.
REF CURSOR is designed for this purpose. Use them.

Bookmarks is no longer a function of personal records on C:\Drive
I have 79 personal folders (in main folder) containing more than 225 Favorites URL on my C:\drive. For some unknown reason, clicking on any bookmark now results in a pop-up window indicating that "Windows cannot find http://---". I don't know what changed to cause this problem. All bookmarks worked until today.

Questions about the record HDD Recovery - Satellite L350D
Hello everyone!
I have a Satellite L350D with Windows Vista.
I'm in my mind to reinstall.
All my data from the two partitions are saved with the exception of a folder on my drive E Data "HDDRecovery" who shouldn't be modyfied or deleted, or whatever.I wonder if all the data are removed from the hard disk due to formatting, how does appear that this same folder HDDRecovery remains safe on the hard drive?
Or is that the hard drive is not really formatted and data on my hard drive are always safe and hidden?Thank you for answers!
Hello
I'll try to explain how it works.
Original Toshiba designed for your laptop recovery image is recorded on the second partition in the file called HDDRecovery. This image should be used if you want to install OS and have the original state factory.
For this installation, you can use this recovery image of the second partition or by using the recovery DVD. It is recommended to everyone to create this recovery DVDs. Have you created?
If you use recovery DVD the whole HARD disk will be formatted and all data stored thereon will be removed.
If you start the HARD drive recovery process only C partition is removed. This folder HDDRecovery is important if you only want to use HARD drive recovery facility. When you want to use the DVD only you can remove (I do not recommend you to do).I hope I could help a little, but if you have any other questions please let us know.

F11 does not work, but he has a record of recovery D:
No idea why it won't let me perform a recovery using F11, when there is a recovery listed in D drive partition and it is about 8 GB?
ALTHOUGH I had to install windows vista on it to start even upward, which was a Win Vista drive not a recovery CD than those who don't have not made. Is it possible to get the resumption of work please let me know. ONCE I can go back, I'll do a set of recovery disks.
Thank you!
Rob
Installation of any operating system on your computer, break on the HP Recovery partition boot record pointers. You can try to score the HP Recovery partition as "active" in the windows Disk Management Console. When you restart your computer, the HP recovery process must start. This should return the computer to a factory State.
If this method works, you will need to locate and buy a pack of HP recovery for your computer. Alternatively, if you can read the number 25 product key of Vista on the COA affixed to your computer, please read the info on the link below, click on the blue link of the reinstallation of Windows Guide PDF and read the beginning of the info on page 296.
Vista info starts on page 296 is good for any brand of PC, not only from Dell.

In addition, no trouble with iTunes and QuickTime recovery partition
T couldn't find the post I put forward...
My Qosmio E series (I n know where to find that one is) had a recovery partition, as said in the title... hard disk and I got it to factory settings, and so now, it seems that he doesn t have a recovery partition. How would return the recovery partition?2. problem Description: I tried to install iTunes. Things then began to happen because of iTunes and QuickTime do not install it... Windows Installer Gets a deep mistake... that keeps me so to uninstall anything related to iTunes and QuickTime and windows update then gets a code 80070424...
Initially it has disabled my DVD player but I fixed... What can I do to make it back to the normal execution and able to install iTunes...
This problem was happening over a period of 3 days
My computer is on a network with another computer.Thank you
Operating system: Windows Vista> Couldn t find the post I put forward...
Just click in this thread on your account name and you will see the list of all threads that are created.I saw your ad on the other and you're pretty confused with this. On laptops Toshiba, there is no recovery partition and recovery image is recorded on the second partition in the file called HDDRecovery. Do not change anything here and you will be able to use the HARD drive recovery facility when you want using F8 and repair my computer option.
iTunes and QuickTime are not Toshiba applications and if you have problems with it you should contact Apple and their support. They have designed and tested clean products and they should be able to help.

Cannot start my TOSHIBA Recovery Disc Creator
I have laptop Satellite A300-148
Since I bought I tried to create a recovery disk to format my laptop, but every time I try to open 'TOSHIBA Recovery Disc Creator' this message appears on my face:
ERROR: "(5) to C:\Program Toshiba Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator\Setenv.ini were denied access."
What should I do?Hello
I don't know what the problem is here, but the only thing you can try is to install the operating system with recovery image in the hope after the new installation of OS, that this tool will not work correctly.
The recovery image is recorded on the second partition of HARD drive and to start the recovery installation press F8 after starting your laptop. In advanced startup options, select the first option to fix my computer. When the system recovery options are shown, please choose the last option in recovery Toshiba. After doing this just follow the on-screen menu.
When the operating system is installed, try using Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator. I recommend you use high quality DVD-R media.

How to install Recovery on my Equium P200 1IR image?
Hello
I tried in vain to now for quite awhile to recover/restore this Toshiba to factory default as its lag so bad now, anyway after a Google search and the Toshiba site I m in the light of the different ways to make it go was to hit F8 to repair the computer, then check that the default button factory.
I tried this in admin and the possibility of recovering factory default just wasn t it. There are many other options but none I needed, option 2 I understand is to turn off the pc via the power button for 10 seconds then take 0 key and start (even once, it has been a waste of time: /)
Please could someone explain why I have no option to recover my Toshiba to default out of the box? I m running Vista Home and model number is pspb5e-005c004ks default it is not not a way of so how much do aprox recovery disks will cost Toshiba direct? Sony tried to charge me £45 for some fo rmy vaio seemed a bit steep for a disc.
Thanks for reading all the advice is great.
Hello
Where to start my friend?
I put t know for sure, but I assume that your older notebook satellite has been delivered with the recovery of HARD drive image. This means that without support of restore DVD and this recovery image was recorded on the second partition of HARD drive in the folder called HDDRecovery.Toshiba has designed reminder which should let know you how important is to create DVDs of recovery that can be used in the case where when recovery of HARD drive option is not available or cannot be launched. The same is also described in user; s guides to document that you have with your laptop.
It will be interesting to know whether or not you have created this DVD but I n t think so.If you do not see this repair my computer option in Advanced options boot (F8) then you have a big problem and you will not be able to start the recovery procedure. I put t know why you got it n t, but especially this option will be untied if you have installed the own operating system or this recovery file is missing.
If you want factory again, you can order https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx recovery disk
It costs a little, but you will get the original recovery image that includes the operating system, all necessary drivers, utility tools and several additional programs and it is designed for your laptop model.
