  See the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library. I suspect that you have not used the right approach to access the previous library.

• Bookmarks is no longer a function of personal records on C:\Drive

  I have 79 personal folders (in main folder) containing more than 225 Favorites URL on my C:\drive. For some unknown reason, clicking on any bookmark now results in a pop-up window indicating that "Windows cannot find http://---". I don't know what changed to cause this problem. All bookmarks worked until today.

• Recovery of personal records

  Recently, I had a disk failure warning hard immenent and proceeded to back up personal files on a flash drive. I then did a system restore and everything seems fine. Then I tried to restore my backup file personal of the flash player and the result has been an icon on the desktop "shortcut to system recovery files" but I can't get my files? what I am doing wrong?

  Thank you for taking the time to answer, but I was no longer able to get into windows or anything else. The hard drive failed completely, and I decided to invest in a new laptop instead of the cost of the repairs. They had a special Christmas... good price. Thanks anyway for your help.

• Outlook Express - lost personal folders/Messages

  Deesktop my wife is under XP (updated latest & greatest) and Outlook Express 6.0.2900.5512. I'm not sure what she did, or how she does but she managed to lose all her personal records & associated messages. They are not in a local folder 'system', including the deleted items folder (a lot of messages here, but no records incorporated). At Pooffffff.

  Someone at - it suggestions on how I should go about 'research' for them, by what name (s), etc. ??? Reboot was not a solution - majic didn't happen!

  Make sure that it wasn't another identity implemented by accident or due to an accident. Locate the storage folder and also see if there is another folder in storage along the way.

  On my Windows XP computer, there is an account called user owner (an administrative account that exists by default on this computer) and two other user accounts that have administrative rights.  For some reason, the other accounts in addition to owner have their videos files labeled as 'The owner Videos.'  However the content of these files do not belong to the owner.  When I in the other profiles besides owner, 'videos of the owner' changes 'My videos', just as it is supposed to.  Windows Explorer in these other profiles also revealed as the owner account records of users other videos are titled 'The owner Videos.'  Videos of the real owner file is displayed correctly, so I don't understand why the videos of other users not displayed right.  Change of name does not help, just ask.  Removing the wrong accounts and re - create does nothing, either.  What should I do now?

  Never mind.  I solved the problem.  Using Windows Explorer, I went to all video files of users who appeared as videos of the owner.  The address bar should be activated for this.  At the end of the address in the video folder, I added the following text: \desktop.ini.  Thus, for example: C:\Documents and Settings\Sample My Documents\My Videos\desktop.ini.  He grew the notebook with all the information on desktop.ini.  I looked at the text and came across the problem.  Line 6 owner = owner said.  I changed the text to this line to tell owner = sample user.  I saved the change and the videos folder has been fixed to be labeled as 'Videos of the owner' to 'The sample user Videos.'  I used "Sample user" in this post to indicate to users other than the owner who all had the problem.  I repeated the same thing for the files of other users.  I know that this probably will not stop future created user accounts get the wrong name for the records of videos, but at least I know how to fix the problem after it is already in place.  The same fix can be applied to images, music and other personal records that are mislabeled.  I hope this works for someone else who runs into this problem.

• All emails from my 'Personal' folder have dissappeared

  It is a corporate environment. There is a remote desktop that has 6 users. All had access to network drives including their personal record on the network. Today they no longer have access.   Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!  From what I read in your post, looks like you see a message something 'guarded' by the person you are chatting with, instead of the normal date and time that is usually there in the right margin of the screen of iMessage.  I'd be curious to know that, too!  I'm happy to help you.

  From what I see, this is the message you get when you send something other than "plain text" to the person with whom you speak, and this person records everything you sent.  For example, a voice message, a beat of heart or a small image that you have drawn by using the new features iMessage that presents us with iOS improved 10.  I tested on my iPhone and saw a right to 'keep' little blue under the message with the effects that I sent.  When I typed that, my husband saw the 'kept' under my artistically-challenged of drawing smiley face!
