• HP6830 unrecognized in the HP Solution Center

  I have an HP6500 E709n connected wireless systems VISTS/XP/W7 and it appears in the HP Solution Center. I just installed a HP6830 and it is connected wireless systems XP/VISTA/W7, and I am able to print to the HP6830 of these systems. However, the HP6830 does not appear in the center of HP solutions like my previous installed hp6310 did.  I would like to see the HP6830 in the HP Solution Center (or perhaps an updated version of this product) so that I can assess the condition of all of my printers from any system on the network.

  I tried to reboot the system after installing the HP6830 software from a CD, but the HP Solution Center software does not always detect see / the HP6830.

  Help, please. I can't turn on the wireless network and bluetooth on at the same time on my hp6830s, it is one or the other.

  HP replaced my 6830 due to failure of the print head. New printer works proud desktop using Vista. Previuosly I could print from my laptop wireless as well, but it's time the print queue says printing, fails to print and return to errot impression.   I read your post and see that the replacement printer is wireless print on the Windows Vista-based computer, but not the laptop running Windows 7. I will definitely do my best to help you.

  If you have a valid IP address for the printer, then try and access the Web built-in to the printer server.
  Type the IPv4 address in the address bar of your web browser. (Internet Explorer) It to load the page.

  You mentioned that you can test the printer, just to check a real contact, check the network IPv4 address on the computer to see if the first 3 sets of numbers match the IPv4 of the printer address.

  Press the Windows and R key at the same time, to show the command line run, type cmd, then type Ipconfig.
  Check the IPv4 address.
  Now, check the IPv4 address for the printer.
  If this isn't the case, then the printer and the computer are not on the same network.

  When I went back to doctor rint I noticed that there were two 6830 choose. I chose the version 2 and was able to get an analysis of test OK. I deleted the other control panel printer and ran successfully the test printing. It seems the uninstal I did for the original printer left behind the description of the printer. I think I may hav run it yesterday on the wrng pinter.

  does anyone know how to solve this problem, before considering new Backpack at costcos and this time it change and buy a competing brand.

I called HP to see which models have the HP Solution Center, but she says she does not have a list. And I can not find this software listed in the product description so that shopping for HP printers. Help, please! I need to buy a print-scan-fax HP device that has the HP Solution Center software.   I called HP technical support. The HP Solution Center 'is no longer supported"all new models.

  So here's what I can do is no longer with the HP printers:

  1. can't see up close the image I'm scanning. So, I can't crop accurately and make fine adjustments.

  2. granular scanning quality PDF. I scanned "line" or text in black and white mode and this is a resolution low resolution, despite the use of 300 dpi and brightness adjustment.

  3. limited to 300 dpi PDF.

  4. no characteristic clipping for scanning matrix photos in newspapers.

  5 JPG limited to 1200 dpi (opportunity to Solution Center with 9600).

  It seems that HP scanners provide only basic functionality. I'm go to Epson printers that use the Document Capture Pro Software and advanced features that HP has taken away from us.
