HTML5 vs Flash player youtube volume levels

I find myself having to manage my OS (win 7) levels of volume constantly with the new video player default html5 when moving between programs (foobar, vlc, youtube, etc.). Youtube HTML5 videos are now really quiet. In the past, I was able to configure my os volume really low master because flash become saturated and move seamlessly audio, production of programs. For example I have attached two sample screenshots, volume counters, one html5 on the other with the playback of the flash. Those that have been taken at the same time and the video. Is there something that can be done? Is this a firefox bug (37.0.2)? I tried this in chrome and it did not have this problem. Any help would be appreciated

P.S. the attachments are not download. Here are the links below.

Have you checked the volume control in the multimedia player?

There may be several parameters for the volume stored in different places.

  • How does the online Flash Player Settings Manager?

That's one thing, I've always been curious to know: How does the Flash Player Settings Manager ?

It's a UI SWF running in a regular reader of Flash, but there obviously access to all kinds of Flash Player settings low level, a typical SWF is not.

My first guess is that the user interface is in fact built into Flash Player, but then why would you go to visit a website to see? The SWF file is actually be served by the site Web and Flash Player's trust to the Web site to access a low level player not made public API?

As a Flash developer for many years I've just been curious about this for a long time. Now that the Manager is obsolete by the construction in the settings (which is a lot less mysterious) Manager, I thought I would ask before it is completely forgotten.

    -Aaron

Yes, the SWF is imbued with special powers, which are linked to the domain that sovereign wealth funds are served from.  The settings are basically just special LSO.

  • Firefox does not remember volume level on flash for example of YouTube videos files, why?

Audio and video files always start playing at full volume, rather than to remember the previous volume. Disable all add-ons does not solve the problem, and the problem does not exist when I use other browsers. I tried to go into the settings of my flash (local and global when right-clicking on a video) and say things to allow the storage of data on my hard drive, but it also has not solved the problem.

Some flash videos in fact retain the status level / mute volume, but YouTube, DailyMotion and others are not among them even if they are working correctly when I use Chrome. This is extremely irritating because it resets the volume up during playback of the playlist.

I noticed just now that you somehow seem to be two versions of the Flash Player installed. Perform a new installation of the latest version as follows.

    1. From the next page, save the program uninstall handy somewhere, like the office.

    2. In the next page, save the installer for other browsers. If you are also using Flash Player in Internet Explorer, also save the ActiveX version.
    3. Close all applications.
    4. Launch the uninstaller.
    5. In Windows Explorer, try to open the following folders. If they exist, delete them manually.
      • C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\
      • %AppData%\Adobe\Flash Player\
      • %AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\
    6. Restart your computer.
    7. Run the Setup program for the other browsers.
    8. Run the installation of the ActiveX program if you downloaded it.

  • Record the volume level of Youtube in private browsing

How can I save the volume level Flash in private (in sites like Youtube) navigation mode?

    Thank you.

    Not that I know of.

You're also on Windows XP and this platform has a setting of overall volume for all applications and not a setting by application, as later versions of Windows.

  • Flash player does not play videos. Videos HTML5 also plays do not.

This problem started suddenly last night.

When I try to play a video it shows the symbol of buffering, then crashes the flash plugin.

Html5 in YouTube videos show the first frame of the video then freeze and do not play. When I uninstall flash HTML5 videos seem to work.

It's exactly the same problem as I had before. See link: no videos playing. Fire fox. V19 Flash. Windows 8

I don't know what to do. I tried a lot of things last time then the problem magically he resoled oneself.

Is there a link between Html5 and flash that the problem could be?

All advice is appreciated I'm studying right now and really need this problem.

    I have already tried:

    • update of flash player
    • install the older version of flash player
    • new installation
    • last windows update installed
    • restarted computer several times

I think I found the problem.

I uninstalled "Logitech gaming software" and this seems to have worked. It was the last program I installed.

No idea how this could cause so many problems. I'm going to give one day too late confirming it worked.

Thanks to all who have helped I really appreciate it.

    Edit:

    It looks like its fixed!

  • YouTube works perfectly without Flash Player

Recently, when I try to Watch youtube videos, video literally disappears, my cursor starts acting weird and whole page crashes. I can hardly even leaving the page and I sometimes get a message for an inactive script, but I just shut everything down. I uninstalled Flash Player and like magic the videos worked perfectly, I only got messages to install Adobe Flash player again. I installed again but the video worked for about 3 minutes, then Flash Player crashed and the video disappeared and everything happens again anywhere. Can someone tell me what is happening?

    HTML5 video is 'happening '.

(A standard adopted late 2010) HTML5 using MP4, Ogg and WebM (Google format) to play the video. It requires no plug-ins. This change was made due to the fact that more people use smartphones now access to the Internet, those of the dektop computers or laptop. As phones and tablets can not use Flash, websites like YouTube, Yahoo, DailyMotion and others are ALL their video converting to HTML5, and YouTube is actually all finished with their conversion. That's why YouTube videos will play with no Flash Player.

  • Flash Player and Vimeo, Youtube does not but don't?

    Hi guys,.

We currently deploy Windows 7 out to all employees and student PCs, we had it on PC our service for the past year and have had no problems with Flash Player and Youtube.

However, a guardian has reported that when they go to YouTube and select a video, it buffers, play a second or two and headed then towards "an error has occurred, please try again later."

If we disable Shockwave Flash Object it redirects to the HTML5 Web site and which works very well.

    Software:

    OS: Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

CPU: Various (Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel i5, Intel Xeon E5

    RAM: 2-4 GB DDR2, 4 GB DDR3,

    Browser: IE10, Mozilla Firefox v19 and v24

    Adobe Flash Player ActiveX: v11.8.800.175

    Adobe Flash Player plugin: v11.8.800.168

    Diagnosis:

    • Tried completely uninstalling Adobe Flash Player, restart the PC, install Adobe Flash Player
    • Tried Adobe Flash Player version beta
    • Tried to disable hardware acceleration
    • Uninstalled IE10, tried on IE8, same problem
    • Tried to delete all the computer and user policies
    • Checked if it was a question VLAN, but happens on 10.32.x.x (student) and 10.64.x.x (staff)
    • Tried same question on IE9
    • Scroll along the search bar at the bottom shows all the stills is fine.
    • Enable ActiveX filtering solves the problem, but it's just because he goes to HTML5 too.

    Any help is appreciated

    Andy

We have just recently at the bottom of a problem even incompatible by which we got the message "an error has occurred, Please Try Again Later". It was only a problem in Internet Explorer, and it turned to be that you should now have speakers/headphones plugged and recognized by Windows 7 to play a Youtube video. Given what you have said, is perhaps the cause of your problem?

  • No sound on YouTube videos since I updated from Flash Player. Anyone got a fix?

There is no sound on the videos from YouTube and videos on any other site that uses Flashplayer. Audio is well on sites that don't use Flashplayer. Have tried to reset Firefox, as well as the removal and reinstallation of Flash Player, but without success.

Thank you, but I had already checked the stuff related to the sound and figured out that the problem had to do with the plugin Adobe Flash Player (aka Shockwave Flash). I finally solved it by uninstalling Flash Player (using a special tool is downloaded by Adobe), the deletion of a bunch of files created by Flash Player in various locations on my computer and reinstall Flash Player. Instructions on how to do this can be found here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

    Version 12.0.0.77

    Your system:
    Windows 64-bit, English, Firefox

I click to install and go through the installation process.

When I try youtube I get the same message, the problem remains.

I checked the javascript is enabled. I have also on this computer and I noticed the last time I tried this process IE it open after finishing.

  • After you have installed Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Flash Player 11.6 20.0, videos YouTube do not load correctly.

Videos YouTube has of worked before installing Adobe Flash Player. Once installed the screen flickers, after a second, rewind at the start, then plays normally. This only happens when I use Internet Explorer. I reinstalled Mozilla Firefox and Adobe Flash Player several times but nothing seems to work. Decommissioning of Adobe Flash Player does not work either. It seems that Firefox is the problem, but I'm not completely sure.

You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • disable the safe_mode in Flash 11.3 and later versions
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • How can I watch and download videos like youtube flash videos if flash player can't stand not for mobile phones using the android version 4.0?

My mobile android version is 4.1.2. At the present time, I can't watch and download videos from youtube. If flash player does not support any mobile by using the version of android more 4.0, how can I watch and download these flash videos?

You can always download and install Flash for Android 4.0 which still works on android versions greater than 4.0, which is located on this site (http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html), which is the own adobe site. Look for the Flash for Android 4.0 and the latest version. Although it is not advisable to use an outdated version of flash as it is not secure.

  • Installed more recent Flash Player, message "an error has occurred" on most of the Youtube videos and other media does not

After you have installed the latest version of Flash Player, on the YouTube videos, I try to read the message "an error has occurred. Please try again later. "appears. In addition, on sites like Tumblr other media, such as audio and videos uploaded, play not at all - it's just a white space where it should be. This set works fine in Chrome.
I have tried everything I can think of - I deleted the cache and deleted cookies, updated all plug-ins, uninstalled and reinstalled Flash and Firefox, disabled Ad-Block, he ran in Safe Mode and navigation private, restarted my laptop a couple of times - but none of this has worked.

Try turning off protected in Flash drive mode.
