HTTPS Web services

Im not familiar enough with the webservices to understand this question so Im hoping someone can give me a helping hand. Im trying to consume a Web service that is available over https URL and we are experiencing any questions just get connected to the WSDL file. When I try to telnet server I get a connection error has failed. So I had our SA open the firewall to our IP address, but still get the same message. Is there anything else I should do on our server in order to make this connection? Also, should I choose have SSL disabled while I'm stable in our development environment? Does make that much difference in what I see during testing? I prefer to leave just because that's the way it will operate in our production environment... All advice is appreciated.

My money is still on that it is a certificate problem. To install the certificate, simply visit the remote URL in a browser and that allows to save the certificate locally. Then, add it to your certificate store as described in the link I gave in the last email.

  • SOAP WITH UTL_HTTP ON HTTPS WEB SERVICE

    Hi all! I'm new there and experimenting with the consumption of web services from database.

    I'm trying to consume a service soap (simple) utl_http via https web with no luck in the Oracle 11 g Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64 bit Production database.

    When you try to consume a web service soap utl_http over http, I have a great solution. But things goes bad when change the http secure (https) Protocol.

    There are a lot of examples and articles out there on how to do it, but there is nothing, not an integrated solution explained step by step.

    I would like to write the steps that I followed then maybe someone will find what am I missing or what I'm doing wrong.

    1 grant the user permissions of utl_Http.

    2 Confure ACL with

    BEGIN

    DBMS_NETWORK_ACL_ADMIN. ASSIGN_ACL (LCD = > 'utl_http.xml',)

    Home = > 'oracle-www.m-base.org/Sounds.html');

    END;

    /

    COMMIT;

    and check the ACL with

    SELECT *.

    Of user_network_acl_privileges;

    and

    SELECT *.

    OF dba_network_acls;

    3 export certifications of sites web service and import them into the portfolio (https://oracle-base.com/articles/misc/utl_http-and-ssl). Try a to time with different types of key - extensions (with key chains or not)

    4. When you try to consume the service web soap over HTTPS with SOAP UI everything works fine, but I get with utl_http

    ORA-28857: unknown error SSL

    I think keystore loaded successfully, but there is one thing missing in my puzzle. Also, I find this portfolio when run SELECT * FROM v$ encryption_wallet has a closed state.

    WRL_TYPE WRL_PARAMETER STATE

    fileE:\oracle\admin\HOSPITAL\WalletCLOSED

    The web service is trying to run is a simple add you can fid it https://oracle-base.com/webservices/server.php/ws_add

    Please help me to find out what am I do wrong.

    Thank you in advance.

    Working on my db...

    Then try to patch your database...

  • Via HTTPS Web service call

    Hi all

    I use Weblogic 9.2 with the default configuration of the keystore & SSL. The Web service client is generated using the 'Clientgen' Ant task, I can invoke Web service using http without problems, but when you use https, it is always rejected, basically I know not what system for the customer properties, here is my last desperate attempt:
    System.setProperty("weblogic.webservice.verbose", "true");
    System.setProperty("java.protocol.handler.pkgs", "weblogic.net");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "config/DemoIdentity.jks");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification", "true");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.security.SSL.TrustKeyStore", "DemoTrust");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.webservice.client.ssl.strictcertchecking", "false");
    System.setProperty("ssl.debug", "true");

    Stub.class.cast(port)._setProperty(Stub.USERNAME_PROPERTY, "weblogic");
    Stub.class.cast(port)._setProperty(Stub.PASSWORD_PROPERTY, "weblogic");

    ISODocument isoDoc = new ISODocument();
    isoDoc.setMti(new Integer(200));

    Hello

    To call your web service via the SSL protocol, the simplest is to use only the following code snippet:
    You used the threshold:
    System.setProperty ("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "* config/DemoIdentity.jks" *);

    instead of DemoIdentity.jks, you provide the full path and the file name of the DemoTrust.jks file as below:

    System.setProperty ("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "* D:/wls103/wlserver_10.3/server/lib/DemoTrust.jks*");

    Hope this will solve the problem.

    Thank you
    Sandeep

    http://www.w3schools.com/webservices/TempConvert.asmx?WSDL

    The 1st thing I try in APEX is to create a Web Service based on the above URL reference.  Problem is that I get the following error:

    ORA-29273: HTTP request failed ORA-12535: TNS:operation expired

    Any ideas?

    I even tried with some other URL WSDL and always the same exact error.

  • Web service throws the status HTTP 400 Code

    Hi Experts,

    Currently, I'm trying to call a Siebel web service in a MAF (2.0.1.1.41) application developed in JDeveloper 12.1.3.

    It doesn't seem to be a problem in the deployment process, but when I open the app on my Galaxy S3 (Android 4.3), it generates an error:

    HTTP Status Code 400 Bad Request:

    The request was not understood by the server due to invalid syntax. The client SHOULD NOT repeat the request without modification.

    The web service works very well in SoapUI so I'm not sure where to look for the error and I'm not experienced enough with the development of mobile applications to know what means this error.

    Thank you

    Christopher

    I solved it a few minutes ago. The problem was that the Siebel WSDL was missing a few pieces in its header. SoapUI apparently didn't need them but MAF is obviously.

    Very irritating problem as I only thought to check after investigating on the Siebel server log files.

    He appeared as "XML Encoding set-match" for anyone with a similar problem.

  • Download binary files with the RESTful web service = HTTP 500?

    I want to allow access to the photos (BLOBs) stored in the database via a RESTful APEX service.

    I have an API of PL/SQL existing based on wpg_docload.download_file works well when called directly on the URL (for example granted to APEX_PUBLIC_USER). I would like to re - use this API because it a lot of other things, including security and the cache.

    The code looks like:

    -- ...
    Start
    -security checks
    -extract the data in l_blob...

    However, when I call this API with APEX 4.2.1 Restful WebService (the GET - PL/SQL source type resource manager) I get a "500 - internal server error" back to the listener of the APEX (2.0.0.354.17.08 - both running standalone or with Tomcat 7) - console log attached.

    A similar approach - APEX RESTful WebService API in PL/SQL call - works fine for the content of the STRING/CLOB. So it must be something to do with the wpg_docload.download_file

    No idea how to work around this bug/feature or a suggestion for an alternative approach will be appreciated.

    Hello

    Can any one advice me how can I start working with webworks on blackberry 10

    Thanks for any help

    In general, you will need to use an AJAX call to the server

    It really depends on what the server returns as to how the information is easy to digest

    JQuery provides a simple interface, and returns information easy to use

    If you deal with things gets complicated XML according to namespace

    If you look at the raw XML data and it goes something like fred: name you will have questions requiring an implementation of SAX - JSON is simple if you don't get that even if (nothing too confusing here)

    If using an external data source JSON go if you have the choice

    As examples go - just look to the top of JQuery Ajax [JSON / XML] and you will get where you're going quickly

    SAX is MUCH harder because of the namespace - Dublin is the most common and same XML without namespace is not simple to handle, so avoid it if you can

  • Photosmart HP 7520: HP Photosmart 7520 does not connect to web services

    My printer suddenly stopped connecting to the Web Services a month ago. I had already used web services successfully for two years, then my computer infected with malware and ruined a lot of things. I guess that it also affected the printer since it is at the same time ceases to function properly. I can print wireless very well all of my devices, but doesn't connect things like regular printable.

    I tried restaring the printer and the restoration of the default network printer. I also tried the steps listed in this forum http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/HP-Photosmart-7520-unable-to-connect-to-Web-Services/td...

    Hello

    Apologies for jumping!

    For the Photosmart 7520, the latest firmware must be installed in order to maintain a connection to Web Services.

    The firmware can be installed on any Windows PC via the following link:

  • HP Envy 110 All In One printer: HP Envy 110 series does not connect to Web Services

    I had the printer a number of years and it works very well. I wanted to set up the service of replacement with HP ink, but apparently the "Web Services" are not put in place?

    The iprint app refuses to implement. (says it is not connected to the internet and it is!)  I have tried restore factory settings and delete and reinstall on my laptop, nothing helps. I tried to enter the ip address in the browser, but it still does this end no more.

    The MNA I am doing wrong?

    Help, please.

    Thank you

    Welcome to the Forum from HP Support. I hope you're well @Amchad!

    I read on the web-services and wanted to stop doing you to share my suggestions.

    As of September 1, 2016, Web Services stop working and are no longer supported on some printers. I'm afraid that your printer is on the list and therefore not compatible with web services. The function ePrint and other web services are not available on this printer.

    Please check the details here: http://hp.care/2eKfeK2

    As an alternative to HP ePrint, go to Google Cloud Print (in English) to set up your printer as printer 'classic' to use Google Cloud print with your printer.

    Hope that answers your questions. Let me know!

    See you soon

  • HP photosmart 7525: hp 7525 unable to connect to web services

    I recently bought an Imac, and now I can't get my hp 7525 to analyze correctly. It says unable to connect to web services. I tried to uninstall wirless and re-login.  Help, please!

    Hello

    My apologies for jumping.

    To add more, the latest firmware MUST be installed to maintain connectivity of the web services.

    Click on the configuration icon and select Tools, then print a printer status report.

    Locate the firmware listed, if it is a value lower than ELM1CN1607AR (see "BOLD" kinds) you will be required to update the firmware.

    Unfortunately, a Mac OS firmware update utility is not currently available, so you must use a Windows PC to update the printer:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-Photosmart-7520-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5199461/model/5286642/swItemId/OJ-113641-5

    Once obtained the latest firmware, try to use Web Services again and check for the difference.

    Kind regards
