Hub blackberry blackBerry 10 preparation solution

Hello all, I had this problem I can't access my emails, contacts etc as the hub just said "Blackberry hub preparing" for 3 days now.

I tried the

"Many reboots.
"hit to swipe in the right corner to the Center 5 times"
"Exploitation of the volume 'up' and 'down' keys to the reset option.

I try to avoid the infamous security wipe.

Any suggestions please?

Hello Ira.

Thank you very much for your advice. I've finally went down the path dreaded wipe security but had first backed up my phone in "State of preparation blackberry hub."

After clearing security and normal phone put in place, I restored my phone from the back upward, and he began to work normally for a few minutes after the restoration was completed if I update my login information for each of my accounts.

Thanks again

  • Hub blackBerry Z10 problems

    Hello

I have problems with my Hub of BB app. I think it started after the 10.3 patch and it worsens with time. The problems are as follows.

    1 hub late.

When I click for example on SMS, it takes forever to load the conversation screen (we're talking 5 minutes or more, sometimes it won't load at all).

    2. sometimes I can't write a SMS

When (and if) the conversation screen charge finally and I try to type a text, the screen does not show what I wrote (it freezes for minutes)

    3. I can not send SMS

If (sometimes), I managed to write the text and press send, hub freezes.

    4. sometimes, I don't get the SMS to another person.

Strange, that is, the other functions of the hub and the device itself works very well. I tried to reload the software using the Blackberry link, it helped a little (hub is laggy and less the case), but the problems are still there. When the Hub lagg, I also try to reset the hub (using the 5 switch gesture), but it does not help.

Any ideas on how to solve the problem?

    Thank you for your answer

    Martin

Thank you. The level of the BONE is fairly new, but not the final Division of 10.3.1.xxxx... In my view, there were 4 releases more in this branch until they stopped and moved to 10.3.2.xxx. However, I don't know if the issues you report are known bugs in this version or not.

I'm also going to guess that you used one of the automatic methods to update your operating system? Sometimes caused problems.

So, here is what I recommend you try:

    1. Perform a full backup - use LINK, also copy the contents of the memory of the device manually on your PC and also make a complete manual inventory of your configuration, added applications, identification of account information, etc..
    2. Conduct a WIPE on the device, and then click LINK to restore from this backup. If all goes well, stop.
    3. Lead a focused on the LINK "ResetToFactory., followed by the restoration of the backup If all goes well, stop.
    4. Make a LINK of operating system recharge, followed by restoring the backup. If all goes well, stop.
    5. Perform a reload of the operating system LINK, but don't restore from the backup... instead, reconfigure everything manually from the documentation that you did in step 1 above. If all goes well, stop.
    6. Perform an update of the LINK of the operating system (if it is available). Restore from a backup. If all goes well, stop.
    7. Perform a reload of the operating system LINK (only if an update has been proposed above), but does restore from the backup... instead, reconfigure everything manually from the documentation that you did in step 1 above. If all goes well, stop.
    8. Use an autoloader to load an operating system that is updated on your device, something more recent than you are currently running. Restore from a backup. If all goes well, stop.
    9. Use an autoloader to load an operating system that is updated on your device, something more recent than you are currently running. But do not restore sauvegardΘ... instead, manually reconfigure from step 1 documents. If all goes well, stop.

Quite painful, I know... I hope that one of the first steps will be successful and you will not have to go all the way through it all. Note that the reason for the complete manual documentation (step 1) is due to the fact that sometimes a backup contains the same corruption, remove... and restore it returns the corruption of the device. That is why the above methods when no restoration takes place.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Z10 best solution for Google Drive on BB10 (Z10)

    Hi all

Just after some advice. I need to get my Z10 BlackBerry sync with my GoogleDrive files.

What is the recommended application to use as Google or BlackBerry have not resulted in an official solution

    Thank you very much

    Ben

You will get a number of recommendation, but here's the first, and in my humble OPINION the best.  Playcoud (available in the world of the BB).  Playcloud takes in charge Google Drive, box, Dropbox, OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) and many more services.  If you have activated the Remote File Access in BB link, you can also access your desktop through her files. It also acts as a file manager for your card device and mSD.

    I hope this helps.

  • BlackBerry Z10 impossible access contacts or messages and the non-existent hub

I got a Z10 now and during the installation I noticed that if I clicked on the "contacts" or "text messages'icons are not." I thought when I transferred all the data from my old divide that would correct itself, but it does not.

None of my contacts or forwarded messages, and I Redid the transfer twice. My call log was transferred, but all entries are number only, no names. And I can't seem to be able to add these numbers to my contacts. I can't even enter the contacts and enter all my previous Info manually.

I have no hub blackberry either and I asked the people who are in the same room to send me messages but I don't get them. I tried to reboot the device several times but nothing moves. I seem to be able to BBM surveys send, but not receive them.

Seems that the only thing I can do is to make and receive calls and use the internet browser.

Can any ideas on how I fix? I will go back to the store I had the phone of the future, but really looking for some information at this time if possible.

    Thank you.

    G

Hi G and welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums!

Have you made software updates on your BlackBerry Z10? If this is not the case, there may be one available. You can do the update through the BlackBerry Link with your device, or by going to settings > software updates on the device itself.

    Thank you.

  • iTunes and Blackberry link conflicts

Hi, link to Blackberry stopped working after the last update of iTunes in Windows 10.

I made Blackberry suggest workaround solution, as follows:

"Rename the file of l iTunesPrefs.xmand restart the BlackBerry link application.

Please note: Completing the steps below may have harmful effects on the functionality of iTunes. For more information, contact Apple support.

    To rename the iTunesPrefs.xml;

    1. Turn on the Show hidden folders and files
    2. Go to \AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\ < username > C:\Users\
    3. The XML in the file iTunesPrefs and rename it to iTunesPrefs.old

Once finished, he recommends to disable display the hidden files and folders. »

My question is, how will this affect iTunes functionality, or not at all?

Rename iTunesPrefs.xml will reset various settings in iTunes. If your library is < user music > \iTunes default path and you have the options to keep... and copy... enabled, you may not notice a change, but the parameters that will have been reset include the active library, media folder file, sharing of XML, the import settings, etc. Check through each tab in Edit > Preferences to see if there's anything to change the way that you had it before.

  • Passport for blackBerry not appearing calendar appointments is not on the device Passport

I have a passport BB device connected to Exchange online using ActiveSync. Prompt appointment is accepted by the user on the device and appear in the calendar in OWA.

However, not all appointments appear in the calendar on the passport of BB calendar.

Appointments may not appear in the calendar, but if a reminder is set for the appointment that will open and inform the user and a search in the calendar then concludes the appointment, it appears not only in the timing of devices.

I went through the decision-making process in charge with the team exchange who have suggested that it is a question of device online.

Y at - it of you experiencing this problem? Can anyone suggest a way to solve this?

    Thank you

Just to update this question, we have applied the Blackberry of KB33828 solution to see if this solves the problem. It has been applied for several weeks now and no user complained of the lack of schedules or appointments.

  • Return blackBerry Z10 z10 bringing BIS possible?

Hey all, now, I searched all over the internet to find a method to get BIS to work once again under the name of old devices but unfortunately his party!  its is really disappointing.

My question: is it possible to get him back by the software update or something? hope that blackberry is no solution for this

Another question: now, Z10 default APN is BlackBerry10.net and the old APN blackberry.net what is the difference?

Again, you're asking for BlackBerry give you BIS... when it is in fact the companies that control all the services and prices to their end-users. Therefore, your requests would go better toward them, I think. If enough porters pressure BlackBerry to enable an option of BIS to those offered to the BB10, then they might actually listen and do. Just keep in mind that the price will be 100% on the control of the BlackBerry... which belongs to the carriers.

If BIS really break a business requirement for you, then you shouldn't even be on BB10... you should be on an existing device, which continues to use the BIS.

    -Access phone information

-Scroll to the bottom for "SMSC: _.  It is prob empty, click Refresh and it will fill.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones embarrassing phone!

I have a Blackberry Torch 9810 (GSM). I bought it from the RIM, Canada in February. After buying the phone, I went to the India. Right from day 1, I had problems with my phone. The 'Her' related process crashes often. music does not play, ring tones are not heard, and worse, when I dial / receive a call, I don't hear anything. The only solution for this is to pull my battery out, put back in and wait for my phone to turn on again. This not only drains my battery but also me irritated. And lately, the touch screen is not working or the other. To restart the phone, the touch screen works perfectly. As sensitive and responsive as it should be, but it is not for a long time and ends by turns off. When contacted the service center, I learned that it's a software issue. Re-installing the software for which I was charged and the problem still persists. My phone is running OS7.0 Bundle 2395. This problem really gets on my nerves.

BlackBerry has a solution for me?

Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below.

See the link below to download it and follow these simple instructions.

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/browseSoftware.do;JSESSIONID=A9963E16B82CEC05BFB29B971C...

    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

Note: Some users may be concerned they will void their warranty of device by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to fear. Please read more information about it here: http://www.port3101.org/power-users/296-blackberry-os-upgrade-including-betas-myths-dispelled.html

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Newbie question Outlook synchronization...

I know, I know you crackberry Masters must make fun of my basic question, but it drives me crazy.

I want to curve. I'll use it for personal and business email accounts. Work email is through MS Exchange. I can access my email using Microsoft Outlook Web Access. Our server does not have this fancy/expensive Blackberry Enterprise Software Solution.

Can I still sync my email to my Blackberry Wireless and untethered work? What are the downsides to not have the fancy software / expensive?

You'll be always my friend, if you can answer this fundamental question in simple terms.

    Hi anrobb!

You will be able to receive your email wireless without the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution (BES). You can use the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) to deliver your email. There are two ways this can be accomplished:

1-direct integration of your account Outlook Web Access (OWA). Here, you must create an BIS account and enter your information to OWA, such as the web address of the OWA server, your email address, mailbox name and password. BIS will use this information to analyze your mailbox for new messages at a time interval determined (basically every 15 minutes) and send it to all new mail he sees to your BlackBerry.

    2. create a hosted mailbox and set up a redirection rule. Most (if not all) carriers offer only a free hosted BlackBerry e-mail address when you have a BlackBerry plan. For example, a customer of Verizon could create an email [email protected]. E-mail messages that are sent to these hosted email addresses are pushed to the device, so they come almost in real time. Once you have set up, hosted email address you (or your IT staff) define a redirection rule in your mail server to forward a copy of all new messages to the hosted e-mail address. The next step would be to connect to your BIS account and modify the reply-to field to be your professional email address. This it will bring up that the emails sent from your BlackBerry come from your work email.

A difference in the use of the use of BIS on BES is that you cannot synchronize wireless your address book, calendar, notes and them tasks with BIS - you will need to connect to a computer. BES offers many other features as well, but I won't get it here.

    See you soon!

  • Loading stuck to blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

(Similar to a previous post problem: stuck on the update)

I have a Bold 9700 a little over 2 years now.  I downloaded the Blackberry Desktop software on the RIM site so that I could update my phone OS 5 to 6 of the OS. What I've read here OS6 is not a good idea for the Bold 9700 as I found it.

So here's the problem, I updated the operating system via the Blackberry Desktop Softwqare and everything was fine until the whole 5 minutes later the phone froze and since then not able to get it running. I think there somethnig to see with an App (iTookThisOnMyPhone) that is causing the problem. The phone turns on eventually (after several battery grips and 1 hour wait), but I can't go to the menu as the clock appears on the screen.

I think to repair (given by Blackberry Desktop Software solution) is however kind I can keep the data on the phone? Should there be a backup of file when I have updated OS5 to OS6?

    Thanks for any help

    Hello

    A few thoughts for you...

    (Credit JSanders)

There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

    One:

    • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
    • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
    • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
    • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

    Second:

    • Start your BlackBerry in safe mode.  Article ID: KB17877 how to start a mode BlackBerry smartphone without failurehttp://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17877
    • Connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software and allow handheld to connect. If you are prompted to update, cancel the upgrade for later.
    • IF you can not connect or your desktop software does not recognize your device in Mode safe, please follow the instructions here to force detection: Article ID: KB10144 how to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader
    • Go to device > delete > SELECT DATA > select this option to remove the Social flow and smart card data bases and follow the rest invites you to complete.
    • Now, you can go back and click to update the device through the Desktop Manager, or restart the BlackBerry in normal mode and continue on the upgrade of the air.

FYI... in response to your earlier question, yes it must be a backup file on your PC to all your data. If you have taken a backup manually, it will be everywhere where you placed it. In addition, when you perform an update via the PC, the software offers to take a backup - as long as you do not defeat this offer, then there will be a backup file on your PC. The desktop software should have the location for the backup files stored... Look at this configuration in the desktop software. Also, search your entire hard drive for files with the extension IPD or BBB (it depends on the version of the desktop software you are using). The results will tell you what you have available, with naturally those with the most recent date/time stamps being the more logical choice for you.

For a stable start to the BB, you can also try Safe Mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient.

For the drastic recovery, here are a few things:

  • Smartphone blackBerry OS 4.5 Documents to Go update OTA 1.0050 fails

Yesterday, I upgraded to OS 4.5 and everything seems fine.  I'm trying to get the update for Documents to Go version 1,0050 which will allow the feature Excel spreadsheets.  I went to Data Viz and asked the update and a link has been sent to my curve 8830.  When I try to get the update via OTA it claims an incompatibility problem, and then after I confirm to continue the download fails.  I have not found a way to download a version of the update computer so that I can update via the PC.  Has anyone successfully updated Docs to Go version 1,0050 (with Excel)?

    Thank you, todd.

Finally got Docs to Go to upgrade properly and now I have Sheet to Go.  See the link:

    http://support.DataViz.com/support.srch?docid=14238&PID=186

I had to use alternative installation, but the first removal of the original version of Docs to Go.  The first round through alternative install has failed.  After a delete and a restart it worked OK.

I get an error "907 invalid cod" when you try to download and install Documents To Go on my BlackBerry.

Document ID: 14238 <> content reviewed: 2008-11-25 issue of the print version:

I get an error "907 invalid cod" when you try to download and install Documents To Go on my BlackBerry.

    Solution:

A "907 invalid cod" error occurs when the Documents To Go is unable to find the specific components necessary for installation. This problem may occur if there is an interruption (for example, a network failure) during the download & install Documents To Go on the phone, which can cause some components asked not to download.

To resolve this issue, try these tips:

    • OTA installation

First of all, try to re-download the app again using the link that was sent to you from DataViz, or visitwww.dataviz.com on your BlackBerry browser.

    • Alternative installation

If you're still having problems, there is another way to install the Documents To Go. Click on the following link and follow the steps for "Alternative installation:

      Alternative installation

    • Uninstall/reboot/reinstall

If you still receive the error "907 COD" invalid when you try the alternative installation, you will need to uninstall Documents To Go, restart the phone and then reinstall Documents To Go. To do this, follow these steps:

      1. Open the Options on your BlackBerry app, then go to Advanced Options > Applications.
      2. Defiler, scroll down to select Documents To Go, then press the Menu key and select delete.
      3. When asked if you want to remove Documents To Go, select Remove.
      4. While the BlackBerry is always powered, remove the battery.
      5. Reinsert the battery and turn on the power.
      6. Reinstall the Documents To Go (you can try OTA installation or installation Alternative).
