    Thank you for your response. I resorted to send to our provider will be scheduled.  Apparently an error with the firmware update that he screwed up.  2 friends with the same problem, so beware if you update your firmware.

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    Make that first make a local backup of your BBM contacts, after backup, delete or uninstall any existing version of your BlackBerry. On your home screen, go to Options > Advance Options > application > BlackBerry Messenger > delete BlackBerry Messenger of this list (highlight BBM press on the menu key and select delete)

    If you already verified and that you are unable to locate your BBM icon, then you should try reinstalling the BlackBerry Messenger application, it may be useful.

    To do it from your home screen to go to Options > device > Application Management > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

    Hello Blackberry community,

    I have a Curve 9300 and so far, it has worked without problem but the other day I tried to send a BBM and received this message:

    UNTRAPPED EXCEPTION: JAVA. LANG. NULLPOINTER EXCEPTION

    I have no idea what this means and why I receive.  All I can do is press 'OK' and it brings back me to my normal screen.  All other functions work correctly.

    Hi, a while back, my blackberry curve 9300 was stolen. I then had the phone blacklisten via my ISP, and my camera erased using blackberry Protect? I also bought a new blackberry curve 9300 and restored all my data from my old blackberry id. Everything worked fine until about a month after my old phone was stolen. Everything was fine except I now im my bbm interference. My profile picture is often changed and I get contacts without confirming them. After a few days to deal with the technical support told me that the phone must be put to the index with blackberry as well as my ISP. I was also told that this process had never been done before, and the chance to get with my phone was not very high. The reason was that the technical support should send a request to blackberry on the blacklist of the bb id, an e-mail.

    I don't know if the person using my old stolen phone can read my messages or see my contacts, but either way I feel as if my private life has been violated and liked to feel safe using bbm surveys.

    What can I do? Maybe remove the code from my blackberry and register in the register using the same email?

    I am very new to this community and not much tech savvy so my question may sound silly. I have the BB 8520 curve. and m nt able to receive data from mobile phones or pc via bluetooth. Cell phones & system can be coupled with my BB and I am able to transfer the data, but I'm not able to receive the data. The Error Message is "BLUETOOTH CONNECTION FAILED"

    There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

    Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

    The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

    Go to the home screen. Hold down the ALT key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file.   • Error 507 for blackBerry Smartphones and RIM Handheld Communications Manager

    I tried to download the latest version of the app world and bbm. But would not load. Received error message 507.

    Tried reloading software but would not let me connect because of RIM Handheld Communications Manager wouldn't let me...

    Any ideas how I can get my bb working again. Never go wrong with a cell phone before. Terrible service of bb.

    Error 507 means that the device doesn't detect any operating system installed on the device.

    See the link below to download it and follow these simple instructions.

    First find your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.
