  I want to copy my planning application from one machine to another (with exactly the same operational systems)
  I did it by database Archive
  
  1. on the original machine
  EE: Application-> database database->(Right click menu)
  
  2 copied the file archived on the target machine
  
  3 on the target computer
  create THE SAME application in hyperion planning and done as follows
  EAS:application-> database database->(Right click menu) Resrore
  
  @Refresh succeeded to @.
  And changed the outline in EAS
  
  But nothing changes in the planning application. How to refresh the planning scheme?

  John is correct, I totally missed the detail that you archived of essbase database and makes the automatic assumption that you had saved/archived planning of the SQL database.

  The "schema" in a planning application is 'stored' in planning using the SQL repository. The Essbase outline is the analytic representation of this sketch of planning.

  To really migrate a planning application, in a way or another, you must copy the repository SQL planning in the application you are setting up, and then refresh to Essbase so going this route.

  FWIW, here is a list of the major steps that I used in the past to migrate 9.3 - 11 Planning (manually):

• Backup Application Essbase, perform the export level 0
  
• Backup database to Application Planning
  
• An inventory of safety, dimensions, performance parameters, forms and States
  
• 11, create the new application with the same Types of Plan, same currency and set of business rules
  
• Stop planning in the 11 database object, move, to re-create the database object and import 9.3 database
  
• Apply upgrade SQL scripts
  
• ALTER table to reflect the version and Shared/Server location
  
• Start the Application and validate the inventory
  
• Import level 0 in Essbase
  
• Test

  I have a problem, I migrate a report. QAS for Oracle Reports, so I don't know. SQR. an idea for this

  What is a Hyperion sqr file? I doubt that there are migration tools, so you will need rebuild the relationship in the Oracle reports.

  These are very old versions, don't know why you want to only go to 9.3.1 as which has long since disappeared.

  In any case, it's the path correct supprted, if required, it may be possible to spend 4 to 9.3.1 by upgrading the application.

  I am a newbie in Hyperion tool. The customer is to have reports of BRIO and now they wanted to upgrade/expand its reports in Hyperion 11 with the DB in SQL Server.
  Please guide me with the exact reporting tool in Hyperion that there are a lot of options under Hyperion downloads.

  AFAIK Brio gained the SQRiBE Technologies which had SQR.

  SQR is called Production Reporting in the later version.

  He has documentation on reports (SQR) Production and interactive Reporting (BQY).

  Once again these are things I know, there could be better people in the forum, who worked with the product longer than me. :)

• Migration using LCM

  I need to make a copy of the existing application on the same server. I did the following.
  
  (1) right click on the application in the library of the app and doublonnait-> new name.
  (2) deployed the application giving a new DSN
  (3) on the SSP, LCM, migrate all objects in a file and imported into the new application.
  
  Now, the NEW application does not games of the rule or the rule in. There calc scripts, but not the BR I tried several times but could not get the problem.

  3. 32-BIT BINARY ONLY FOR: data relationship management, EPM Workspace Services, FDM, Financial Reporting Services, Interactive Reporting Services, Shared Services (service native embedded OpenLDAP directory), smart lookup and Strategic Finance.
  4 FDM and strategic Finance cannot be deployed on the same computer where the Performance Management architect (64-bit) and financial management (64 bit) are deployed.

• difference between Interactive Reporting (IR) and the reports of Production (PR)

  Could someone tell me the difference between IR and PR Version 9.3.1 or later if its important. My impression is that IR is used for ad hoc reporting, and PR is used for the production of regular reports. I believe you can also create reports that production of IR also, so I don't see where is the difference.

  Hi Tom,

  PR or HYPERION SQR PRODUCTION REPORTING focus produces high quality reporting mass. The reports are designed and then demand by admins (or report developers), end users are generally not involved.

  IR or creation of INTERACTIVE REPORTING, HYPERION focuses on ad-hoc data analysis. IR can be put in place to enable end users to modify queries for the purpose of analysis and output then reports or dashboards.

• The question of LCM

  I have a big problem with the LCM. I use the Services Console shared Hyperion version 11.1.1.1.63(Drop 8).
  I used the LCM several times successfully.
  The problem is with the deployment of the application of the development environment for production environment. One of the applications was not deployed. He's stuck. The Migration status report shows application that it is still ongoing. It is ongoing for weeks. I tried to restart the server, Hyperion and tried to migrate the application again, but without success. What can be the problem? How to solve the problem?

  I guess by report it exports the objects of Reporting and analysis, if yes, then you need to try and jump down for objects, which is the origin of the problem.
  Also, I would certainly try to switch to the latest version/patch as the first version of 11 had quite a few questions.

There are various tools such as reports interactive Hyperion, Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting, Hyperion SQR Production Reporting, Hyperion Web analysis to create reports from the statement.   Depends on what you're trying to achieve, the most common of them would be Financial Reporting and Web Analytics, in the future, I can see interactive analysis of Reporting/SQR/Web all gradually and be replaced by OBIEE, long off the coast, but it is the road map.

  I'm migrating my classic application of 11.1.2.3 to 11.1.2.4 and trying to manually create the shell application in the destination. What I notice is

  In 11.1.2.4 on manage plan type screen request I am unable to uncheck the checkbox ASO. I have to put values in two areas of text next to the checkbox ASO. We don't have to ASO is enabled in 11.1.2.3. I wonder

  Should I let check and what value should I put in the text boxes

  The LWA is used only for internal goods traffic so that it is used in fields as FCL, if you remove the element of load balancer and point it to the web server (OHS), then it should show if it is related to the load balancing, I saw this error with the planning and LCM when there were questions type load balancer.
