  Hi all

  I'm new to scripting, but I guess that my current task is in need of some scripts.

  I have a catalog in InDesign.  It is about 250 pages and each page has about 10 image so there are about 2500 images.  How I built them is that each image is placed within a framework.  Now, I need to hyperlink each image on an external web site.  For example, an image whose name is (12345.jpg), the hyperlink will be "https://www.testabc.com/productdetails.aspx?itemnum=12345". ""  Even if I call 67890, then the hyperlink should be 'https://www.testabc.com/productdetails.aspx?itemnum=67890'.»»  All images are linked to a folder on the computer.

  Can you please suggest the best way to write and run this script.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I can't test the script at the moment, but looking at it, I see that all of the loop is in a try-catch. This means that if it encounters an error, it stop all the graphics processing more. There may be a good reason for this, but I think you could just move the try-catch in the loop for, so he can catch any error link individual without stopping completely. Something like this:

  Forum syntax gives me a hard time, but I probably throw a "alert (myGrName)" in those who would attract media so that you can begin to try to understand where there is slightest mistake out (if it's indeed the problem).
  Another thought is that, if there is a chance of multiple images with the same number, you can have your hyperlinkURLDestination search for an existing destination before adding a new.

  I have the latest version of El Capitan and PAGES.  I have several logos (pictures) on a page and I'm trying to add a link to them, so if you click on the logo – it will hyperlink you to their Web site.  How can I simply add a hyperlink to an image?  The Add link feature is grayed out I tried to create a text box above the logo - deletion of the text in there and "simply" hyper be linkable - but I can't do it anymore?  Can someone help me, or direct me to how to do this?

  Here's how associate you an image.

  1. Insert and scale your image. Although still selected, visit the tab Pages to reorganize v5.6.1 and text wrapping set to None. Then on the Style tab, disable the border and shadow.
  2. Insert and scaling a text box. Same settings rearrange and style as above used for the Image but there are resized to 80% of the image.
     1. Fill, but overflow not the text with any text box, the size of the text and line spacing that offers the best overall coverage by clicking on the text as a link. I usually use X or @ characters.
  3. Drag and Center your text box on your image.
  4. Double-click the text in the text box to select all and press command + K to set the text of a link with the link dialog box. Change the web address to your liking, then press return to set. Press the ESC key to dismiss the linker.
     1. Select an edge of the text box and in the Style tab, drag the opacity to 0%.
  5. With the text box still selected, press the SHIFT key and click on one edge of your image. Both selected, click Group on the Arrange tab.

  When exporting in PDF of Pages v5.6.1, the link of the image is preserved and works in as tested on El Capitan 10.11.2 Prevew.

  I'm using the Mail App every day (and love it!), but I can't figure out how to do two things:

  Is it possible to insert a hyperlink , or a picture into the body of an email in the Mail application? If not, are there plans to add this feature anytime soon?

  You can copy and paste a link or image in an e-mail message - for example, you can switch to IE and copy the URL in the selector bar (Ctrl + C), then to the address Mail app and type Ctrl + V. If you want to use the key - press on and keep the address bar in Internet Explorer until a box appears, then press on copy.

• hyperlink an image to another location in the document

  Hello

  When I created a hyperlink to another place in a WORD 2010 document IE. an image with the words "A spreadsheet" link is a few pages from the image, I am able to click on the image and it takes me to the "worksheet".

  So, once I created the PDF is more "clickable". Have I missed a step in Word or I can add the hyperlink in Acrobat DC?

  To get the active links, you must use PDF Maker inside WORD. If you print to the Adobe PDF printer, you lose all the links. You can add links back with Acrobat, but it's a long trip.

• Cannot hyperlink an image

  I created my own menu using images lined up against each other, with a larger text on the images.  It comes to my menu.  When I click on an image/text group, (e.g. VIDEO), I can't get it to post a link to my VIDEO page.  My links work on my homepage, but not my other pages.  Today I added a new page (the page of the VIDEO), and my menu stop working.

  Try clicking on the menu at the top of the page.

• I can't insert hyperlink or image in my mail even after reinstallation of tb in linux mint 17.1... no visible drop-down list

  There is no other problems writing a mail, when I press the Insert button. Project window loses his shadow, and I can only return to the entry by pressing ESC. Already tried-backup mode, re-boot and re - install Thunderbird 31.7.0. I forgot something? I have worked fine until yesterday.

  I have a hyperlink my images (I'll call them buttons) on the page of my website to different anchor in the same page and for some reason that three of the buttons function (keys of Graphic Design, content and research development). I applied the same exact procedure to all buttons:

  • I have a hyperlink each image to the relevant anchor on the page
  • I applied the different States to each button (normal, rollover, active, etc.)

  There is nothing different about how I treated each of the buttons in the hyperlinking process, but only three of them will work. A few more facts: they are not on the master page. These are images. I tried already to place images at the front and there is only one layer.

  Hyperlinks did not work as you have grouped some elements on the top Menu, the Logo and header etc, which was originally a layer on top of your images a hyperlink.

  Please go ahead and separate all items and hyperlinks work very well.

  You must place the image in the text box to wrap around him, or a heavier way test, you can use text several boxes and place them strategically around the image, but if you want to hyperlink the image you have to place it inside the text box and you can not overlap images and text in e-mail boxes.

  I make a website in Muse.  I have successfully used a text widget scrolling on my pages for insert text so that the user can scroll as fast or as slow as they want to read the text.  I have another column of the same page, I want to do the same thing, but install small photographs with titles on the side so that the user can scroll through as quickly or as slowly as they want.  When they see the picture they are interested, I want them to be able to click on the photo and have it hyperlink to a new page in the Web site.

  I am a new user of Dreamweaver CS6 and only know very basic HTML. I spent the last two hours trying to find and understand this problem out, but not just anywhere. If you can point me in the right direction or knows something that could help me, it would be highly appreciated.

  I started to create my site with a layout 'liquid in column 2, bar left side, header and footer '.

  I replaced the text with images/buttons nav ul links and buttons/images resized to fit perfectly in the sidebar... but when I add a hyperlink for images/buttons, they automatically adjust themselves slightly to the right; Crossing over in the content of the page on the border of the sidebar.

  I tried aligning the images/buttons to the left and probably messed all the CSS rule for the nav and the sidebar definitions, trying to understand, but I'm getting nowhere.

  I hope someone can help,

  In IE 09/08/10 a border is added to the image when inside an element "a". Simply remove the border by adding the following to your stylesheet.

• Hyperlink Gallery - need your help please

  Ive done a gallery and I have a hyperlink my images to open in a new web page clicked once the problem is when saw large, it does not show the jpeg format in the right dimensions and proportions; in other words, if a JPEG is square, it shows also rectangular, they all look the same form. Is it possible to make sure that the dimensions of the image are displayed?
