Title of song-Player Windows Media does not display properly when played
Problem with Media Player
The box on the bottom of my screen shows 1 song, but another play! This has never happened before... How can I fix this so that they match?
Hi Catwoman,
Follow the steps below and check if that helps you solve the problem with Windows Media Player.
You can try to clear the database of Windows Media Player and check if it helps to load the music into the library and if you can play all the songs.
To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1
1. exit Windows Media Player.
2. for Windows 7: click Start, click Run, type Player, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media , andclicknext OK.
3. Select all the files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.
Note you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
4. restart Windows Media Player.
Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
Step 2
If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Playercache of database files. To do this, follow these steps:
1. exit Windows Media Player.
2. If you are running Windows 7, click Start, click Run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, , andclicknext OK.
3 select the folder Media Player, and then click delete on the file menu.
4. restart Windows Media Player.
Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
Also note before performing the steps above, I suggest to save the songs and try the steps above.
I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

Hello my pblem is that my Windows media player does not play wen I insert my dvd disc it say that a compatiable device is not installed please help me thanks in advance
Hello
Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.Your CD or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs

Qosmio G30-163: encoder Windows media does not recognize video devices
I can't get the Windows media encoder to recognize my video camera connected to the S-video (Qosmio G30-163) port.
I have a similar problem with Web conferencing pro application Marratech (it crashes after 15-20 seconds if I try to use it-during the time the application is inactive - in configuration I see the photo/video test).
If I use InterVideo® WinDVD Creator 2 Platinum software packaged for video capture it works fine.
Hello
In my opinion there would be something wrong with the compatibility of the MCE and s-video. Have you tried to run the MCE updates?
If the s-video connection works with InterVideo WinDVD Creator, then I guess there is no hardware malfunction (s-video port). How about the video and the port? Have you checked if it works?
This port allows you to import video data from analog video camera.
I recommend you this option -
