I am able to network a wireless laptop and a new Vizio TV with WiFi built-in?

original title: can I phone network wifi and tv

I have a toshiba laptop computer wifi and verizon wireless broadband router.  bought vizio tv with wifi (vizio called "via").  I can access the WiFi directly from the tv through the presets 'widgets', for example, facebook, twitter, netflix.  can I network the laptop and the tv via wifi.  for example can I wireless use the TV as a screen to the laptop.  I know that I can use ports vga to do this, but thought that maybe there was a way to wirelessly connect their.

Hello

As the laptop and the Vizio are connected by wireless network they can only connect with what is available via the network interface.

If the Vizio is capable of outputting its Visual TV content via the Wiereless connection, then it would be possible to look at the picture on the laptop.

Check with support from Vizio if such output available

I have a Photosmart 6510 and a HP laptop computer connected wireless.  They worked together wonderfully since a few months ago, I installed the printer.  The wifi was briefly in standby.  When I sleep and tried to print I get an error message that the printer is not found.  The printer indicates that the wifi is on (blue light is on and the internet window shows that it is connected ad gives all network information, including the IP address.  I tried all my usual electronic bugs: turn the printer off and back on, unplug the printer and let it rest, reboot the laptop, etc.   I am running Windows 7.  With my old HP printer, I get an error message when the printer is offline, that would allow me to go to a "fix" and click to get back online.  I couldn't find this option now.

Nothing works (the mobile web access so I know it is related also).

Are there other things I can try before I have to go through the hassle of reinstalling the printer?  I hope there is an easier difficulty.

And, if I have to reinstall it, I have to write it?

    Thank you.

I fixed it.  I unplugged the router and the modem, plugged them back in and click on the reset button on the router and the laptop and printer now talk to each other once more.

There is a problem with this laptop.  Before even I had a wireless printer, I have everything reset completely to the laptop if there is a power failure (but not to the modem in stanby mode).

My second question is always true since I have to reinstall Windows 7.  Once that I have reinstall the printer do I need to re-register it?

    Thank you.

    Yay for me!

  • How can I manually remove a network adapter wireless, hidden and corrupt "Network connections" in Windows 7?

I need to locate and remove a network hidden in Windows 7 device manually.  The device is called "Wireless network connection" but does not appear in network connections.  The reason why I know that its there is when I try to rename "Wireless Network Connection 2" to "Wireless network connection" I get an error that the connection already exists, even if the device has been uninstalled and is not listed.  I have to remove this connection because it is completely corrupt and preventing any wireless with a red X in the system tray.  The adapter works fine on another machine.  I tried showing hidden devices in device but Manager that has not worked.

Open a command line window and type the following two lines:

    Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1
    Start devmgmt.msc

In this special Device Manager window. in the menu, click view and then Show hidden devices

Unwanted devices will appear dimmed. You right-click on them from there and uninstall them.

Then return to your network center and rename your adapters for what you want without the sign #.

    Hello

    Outlook Express is running XP.

You would have helped us if you had given us your OS, while we knew as the default e-mail program...

    Vista's Windows Mail.

Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) Telstra? They provide your broadband / dial connection.

    Ask them to:

    1. your username with them

    2. your password with them.

    3 incoming mail POP3 server.

    4. the outgoing mail SMTP server

All the settings that you need to come from them, not Microsoft; and they are usually happy to help you set up your e-mail program.

You can use this guide to set up Windows Mail, too:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/Windows-mail-setting-up-an-account-from-start-to-finish

In Windows 7, you can use Windows Live Mail.

The Setup is similar to Windows Mail.

    See you soon.

    Hello

Just to add, the product only supports WEP, encriptación WPA and WPA2, you will find listed per page 40 operating Guide

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c01945700.PDF

Any product of consumption of Hewlett-Packardt does not support the WPA-Enterprise encriptación type.

You will need to change the type of security for your network, or you can also use an ethernet connection to work around this limitation.

    Kind regards

  • Pavilion dv6-2162nr laptop: install the new hard drive with the system image

I have a hp laptop dv6-2162nr win 7 I am about to install a new hdd Seagate, I have the repair disk and recovery disks that I made at the outset after purchase. I also updated backup files and file system image. I want to recover my file system registered... at what time; using the recovery discs, the new Seagate hdd will be ready to get a picture of systems?

    BobO2

Recovery disks do not use the Image you did install Windows and all software/drivers hard disk from the factory original.

You would start with repair cd to restore the Image.

    ========================================

There may be a program that runs in the tray near the clock in the bottom right that controls the
device. Some Toshiba models have the keys of the map at the top of the screen (move the mouse all the way to)
up to see if your model has this feature) which allows control on some devices. Some models
have (usually indicated on the key cards) shortcut keys that control input devices.

If nothing else works, try Control Panel - double - mouse and other pointing devices - devices Manager
Click the device - driver tab - Disable. I would use this as last resort than the other options possible
allow you to activate and deactivate the device much easier.

    I hope this helps.

  • Moving to a new laptop and a new operating system

I just bought a new laptop that runs Windows 8 64-bit. Can I install my portable CS4 Production Premium and InDesign CS5 on my new computer old and they still work on the two machines?

My old computer is running Windows Vista 32-bit. I bought these products online and always have the game downloaded files. I'm also using two computers in the future, but not at the same time.

You are allowed to install your Adobe software on two machines and you plan, you cannot use the same program on both machines at the same time.

In my view, CS5 software has been tested to CS8.  I don't know if CS4 has a shown to function properly on Windows 8.

    Hello
I recently received this laptop and I try to configure the wifi on it and will have a bit of headache without.
This allows me to enter the password in when it picks up my wifi router, but then refuses to connect.

The unit only does support WEP and WPA - PSK not at all?

If she doesn't support at all so I guess im going to have to unravel the network with WEP but id do not have to.
The only other option I see is both mac address filtering, but I want to go down that road...

    HP Photosmart 5510e printer.

I have installed this printer yet because I think that it may not do what I need to do and I may have to return it. I need this printer print from 2 computers. One is a laptop using Windows 7 which is Wireless and the other computer running Windows XP that is NOT actually have wireless capabilities. This printer can handle TWO or is it strictly wired or wireless?

    Hi rayKoontz,

If you install the printer on the wireless laptop and then install the printer on the XP USB machine you won't have to unplug anything to print from each machine.

  • Questions of solution Center with 8500 wireless pro on the new machine, Windows 7 Pro

    Hi all

I'm having a really hard time trying to get the software of Center of Solution for my departure Officejet 8500 Pro Wireless A909G. I am trying to install on a laptop Toshiba T130 new that came with Windows 7 Pro.

I use the latest version of the software (full version) for Windows 7, downloaded from the website of HP (32-bit).

The installation process works very well. Once completed, if I launch the centre of Solution without restarting the computer, it works fine.

As soon as I restart the machine, that's right--I can't launch the centre of Solution more and I can't use the PRINTER. Solution Center told me that the installation failed.

I also tried the following so far:

-Windows patched with the latest updates-to - no chance.

-read through the different posts of people with similar problems and tried some of the suggestions (so far, update of flash player and by applying the patch DOT4 seem to be most applicable to my situation)-no luck.

-rebuild the machine (even if it's new!) - no luck.

If there is another job out there dealing with this, I missed it. Feel free to point me in that direction... Thank you.

Looks like I solved my problem (after the days of play)

There is not a lot to it:

    • Completely uninstall the software and reboot
    • Open the folder that contains the complete software (mine was called OJP8500vA909_Full_13.exe) self-extracting exe
    • Right-click on the file, then select Properties from the menu
    • Click on the compatibility tab, located in the upper part
    • Downstairs, you'll see the option that says to run this program as an administrator. By default, it is not checked. I checked, click apply then OK.
    • Run the installer as usual through until the end.

That's it - and it worked for me. I hope this helps.

  • Not allowed to use my premium production CS6 on laptop and desktop?

    Hello!

I have already posted a couple of different questionsin the hardware forum since I am in the market for a new laptop. My problem is now one of the installation and so I post here.

With respect to computers, I have now decided to wait the GS60 MSI (laptop) out, but since I do not know how much time I'll have to wait and I'm in serious need of a new computer, I went out and bought a used desktop computer that will do the trick in the meantime.

Then I set up my desktop, installed my CS6 production premium suite, used the creative cloud (free version included in the suite) to download a few projects of my laptop and then upload them to my new desktop computer. Everything was going, until I got a second draft in first pro when suddenly a window popped up saying something like "Lisa HP uses the same series/number keys, please reinstall the plugin and use a valid/uniqe keys series/number" and then a red cross appears everywhere in my images.

HP of Lisa is my old laptop by the way I use again, in part as a laptop school, but I also want to keep editing on it while I'm on the go. Even if it's a nightmare to do serious editing on it is perfectly fine for some easy Assembly, at the beginning.

I was under the impression that I am authorized to install my creative combination on multiple computers, am I bad? Once I get my new laptop (May 6-12 months) I probably won't have to use a desktop computer more, but in the meantime, I won't be able to work on my projects on my desktop and my laptop.

What I really need to uninstall the garment on my laptop to use it on my desktop? I thought that the cloud was all about sharing between computers and I was really looking forward to be able to use cs6 on my two computers.

I spent a lot of money on my costume and I never exspected to have this problem, of course, I would be able to edit on my laptop and desktop computer, right? Or am I really supposed to buy the costume a second time? This really isn't an option for me, especially since it will only be for a few months.

If someone could help clear this up for me that would be great. Thanks in advance

    Lisa

If this is not software Creative Cloud then an additional restriction, is that you can only use one of the facilities enabled at any time.

My iPad is not able to connect to my wi - fi network.  I made an update to my router on my first laptop and I can't get an internet connecction on my iPad.  I'm invited to a password, but don't know what it is.  I'm looking for the password?

Assuming that you have a wireless router at home that you need to know the wireless network SSID, encryption type (IE. WPA2 or WPA for example) and the encryption key and password / password.

Many routers appear encryption key wireless to plain text. Copy in the iPad. Check the router site users manual or support to help manufacturers to enter the config pages.

If the router does not have the key, you can also see in the properties Win 7 Wireless for your home network. Open network and sharing Center and click on Manage wireless networks left. Right click on your wireless network and select Properties. Click theSecurity tab and checkShow characters . Provide the administrator password to see the key.
