I've just updated to the new Firefox, and now when I try to create a new folder of bookmarks, the option is gone (I see all of my folders of old, but the "New folder" option, which was on the bottom of the dropdown menu, disappeared. Or I see it anywhere else.
Looks like the theme you use has changed the button "new folder". This is probably the icon "+" under the folder tree (you can also type Alt + o in the Bookmark dialog box to create a new folder).
See my screenshot for the placement w / the default theme.

Suddenly and without any warning, I can't create a simple "new folder"; an attempt to 'right click' offers me only: 1) a folder compressed (zip), or, 2.) a Briefcase. Why the simple "new folder" disappeared off the coast of the menu list, and HOW do I get BACK?
If I open Explorer and try to create a new folder from there, I can "click"New folder"button all DAY, but it does NOTHING.
What happens here?
I am running Windows 7 and so did 15-16 months, without any real problem, so far.
If anyone can help with this, I would CERTAINLY appreciate it.

I can't create a new folder in one of my libraries or anywhere else?
I used to be able to create new folders, but it does not work now, and I don't know why? I am running windows 7 64 bit. I tried to click on the link to create new folder, I tried to move the file and clicking new folder doing, none of this works. I tried right clicking and going again and the option for a new folder is not yet here? I tried to restore to the previous time and that has not worked. I don't know what else to try?
No one knows what is the cause for now, but here are a few corrections.

Cannot create a new folder in the Explorer of Windows 7
Somehow, I lost the ability to create new folders in the Explorer of Windows 7. Explorer opens and the button "New folder" is always at the top, but when you click it nothing happens. You have installed chrome? It's looking like a recent update of chromium may be the cause. Here are two patches.

I'm a new mac user. Successfully transferred all of the files from my PC to MacBook pro. All of this is to be seen in the documents. Opened now MacBook and only one file to be seen in 'documents. Where can I find the others. Convinced they are there somewhere, help please.
The Mac is in itself a system multi-user, whether you choose to create a user or a large number.
All users you already created can be seen in
System Preferences > users & groups
The files for each user are kept separated, protected of the subdirectories of the Directory/Users:
/ Users
your User_short_name folder
file user_short_name to your spouse
