Is the repair for the same WIndows7 disc for the PC?

the ERD for WIndows7 Home Premium is only about 300 MB, assuming that comes with Windows7 backup utilities. With 300 MB, there may be a large part of the OS with a value of software licenses, i.e. licensed OS software should assume in the separate image to be saved on a hard drive.

The content of the ERD are specific to my PC or the same for every PC? If the disk is fixed then Microsoft provide a downloadable copy for free?

HP also provides its own utility to create a disk repair and image. What are the differences? HP provides a downloadable repair disk for free?

Hello

Windows recovery disc - these will be unique to your laptop and allows you to reinstall the whole operating system and bundled software.  There is no option available for this download, and under the terms of the OEM license, you can create only one set of these discs - for more details, see here.

Windows 7 repair disc - it is generic and will be the same no matter what Windows 7 PC, you create, the only difference is either 32-bit and 64-bit.  We can consider a good guide on what this drive is to here.  The most important difference between the recovery disks and a hot spare is only recovery disks will allow you to reinstall the operating system, it is important to create these.

As far as I know, there isn't a picture of rescue disc available for download from Microsoft or HP - but if you have already created a repair disc, most of the CD/DVD software burning allows you to create an Image file (.) ISO) disc.  For example, if you have used ImgBurn, there is a guide here.

You probably already have the software to create a disk image that was provided with your PC.

Kind regards

DP - K

so my laptop HP Pavilion g4-2235dx product number: C3Q50UA has been slain in automatic mode of repair for like a month now... it goes not far than this screen... the day it happened first I booted up & it real quickly flashed a blue screen that says my computer needs to reboot so itll restart itself for me then it rebooted & went to the screen hp for 10-15 minutes , then went to the automatic preparation of repair screen for about 2 hours, then the screen comes to have dark & remained like that all night... the next day I turned off the laptop & started again & it would be on the screen hp for a long time & id farm & turn on again, then he would start, restart itself then go to auto repair. If I stop it on the page of sutomatic repair then it would be just cranking up the hp screen & nothing else but if id shut down on the hp screen & turn it back on go to repair automatic page... back & suite back & rear returns & suite for days... Finally once a week or so, I gave up... i left on the page of auto repair for about 2 days directly plugged in so he would die just in case he might just need more time but 2 days was too long so I finally unplugged it & left on this page until the battery is dead & haven't touched since... Ive read some of the other posts on the loop of auto repair & what to do, but I don't want to lose all my stuff on the laptop as my images/videos(thought i saved them to skydrive but apparently i didn't complete the whole process to access my stuff from another windows 8 device)... I bought the used laptop & the warranty has already expired... any installation of windows 8 flash disk/drive. I have no recovery disk. so I have no way to replace my OS or recover my data that are already on this laptop... is there something I can do to get out of this dealie loop of auto repair without an installation/recovery disk/flash drive?

You'll need a Windows 8 rescue flashdisk, HP usb recovery media or disk recovery in order to access the safe mode and the Startup Repair. The cost of a recovery of HP USB is not that much to around $ 30.00 USD. You can also ask a friend or relative whose computer has the same BONE to make a recovery of Windows 8 key for you.

If you want to recover data from the hard disk before performing any repairs more, then you will need to remove the hard drive. You have the choice to start the installation in a usb enclosure, using a usb cable to power\sata or install temporarily to with a sata available on a desktop at home.

  • MacBook Pro repair for graphics issues outreach program

Hi, my Macbook Pro Late 2011 was knocked down in a little water, but my friend helped me fix it. He now works in good condition, but the chart doesn't work well when my Macbook has been upgraded to Mac OS X Mavericks. As I know that the model of Macbook pro end of 2011 had the graphics problem, I wonder about the service of repair for videos cause program, my Macbook Pro is still to be accepted to the free repair or I have to pay the money to repair and how much? Thank you

I'm afraid that by pouring water into the computer then take it apart and fixing it you have cancelled the guarantee and any other Apple support. They will not fix the video problem for you. You are free to ask your local store of Apple or a service center if they will fix it for you and what will be the cost. The first sentence is the warranty policy.

So ive been trying to get my internet to work for 3 days now on my new ASUS laptop. I can get it for about 2 minutes then just triggers. Ive done everything, reset the router the main box and the same change in cables. Ive plugged and unplugged the cable cat. If I reset the computer it works again for 2 mins more, then cut again. If I click on diagnose and repair if gives me an error message. This message is an error Code 0 x 80300113 that's saying. Not only to mention that my Windows 7 slowing down when ever I click on a program. As if my computer was completely maxxed on the hard drive and everthing. If I can get help thatd be great. Thank you

I never said it was a problem of IE.

I just figured out the problem. The date on my clock has not been set correctly. I don't know why this would have caused this problem, but the error is over now. Double and triple check your time, year and time zone. I had it established to the year 3010 for some odd reason. I am now able to run without problem diagnosis and my Internet works perfectly now.

  • Someone at - it a repair for a function that is usually common in Windows, the Svchost.exe process? I and many other users of PC have infested with this mystery bug. Its not to damage yet, but...

I'm infected w / which seems to be the most mysterious infection known for Windows right now.  One wonders if it's a Trojan horse, worm, malware, etc., or just a natural process for C: Windows\system32.  It's almost like 'shadow people '.  For most, there quite harmless, fantasy of the mind.  But, from time to time, there is actually something that happens on the corner of your cornea, so to speak.  This is very sneaky and difficult to diagnose a problem b/c he hides with the Service host.  I'm here b/c I have a question, but also to help others to understand that, unlike the 'shadow people', the shadow of an infection is very REAL.  This infected process is, for the most part, quite harmless unless something malicious attaches to it and could things get a bit risky.  Anyway, I'm sorry for this rambling diatribe, but I have a question for someone who is very smart b/c so far it seems not yet to be a definitive repair because some people still think it's a natural function or process in the Windows operating system.  So here it is: How can I solve this problem?  And I can fix it with or without a full restore of my records?  I'd really appreciate any input on this very discouraging, boring, mind and body draining, faulty computer "BUG".  BTW, I have a dv9500 HP Pavilion x 64 Ultimate for Vista that was bought there are 3 1/2 years.  I've dealt with this infection since the end of February and have spent more than $400 on this terrible nuisance.  But Club (all jokes aside), I really enjoyed, grateful and very thankful for someone with an answer to this complicated issue.  Thanks for the time!

His terrible with the gel. Help, please. Maybe there's a way to uninstall the new version 11.0 and go back to the last?

A few other basic problems you can try things is the following:
Run all Windows updates, install all required service packs, etc.

Updating your graphics driver (Firefox uses the graphics card for rendering and an outdated graphics card driver can cause problems. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers.

Update all of your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.

Download and install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This check allows that there is no virus on your computer, causing problems. You can uninstall this program after having cleaned the infections.

    Hi Blair, j.

    · What problem in the face that you were invited to use reports on the problems and the Solutions Center?

    · What was the result which was provided in the history of the problem?

    Try the methods below:

    Method 1:

Download and use the utility of diagnosis of hard drive on the site Web of the manufacturer with a check, if this can help. You can download from the link below: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericSoftwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&softwareitem=pv-68105-1&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

    Method 2:

Check your hard disk for errors by temporarily disabling the security software installed on the computer.

You can check the link for the procedure below: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Check-your-hard-disk-for-errors

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • Need to refresh or repair for Windows Vista family

Is the some type of discount or repair that will restore the capabilities of the OS that inevitably get lost over time?

    Hi Gleasonton1,

If your PC came with Windows pre-installed, then you should either have a "recovery disc" set, or else a recovery hard disk partition. To restore the system, the simplest method is to restore to factory conditions. Your PC will be as it was when you bought it first. To restore to factory conditions, you will need to check your manual/user guide for the PC. This will tell you how to proceed. A word of warning, if. Restore completely wipes your hard drive and you will lose everything. Your recovery system will then reinstall Windows from scratch. All programs that you have installed after you bought your PC will need to be re-installed, so I hope that you have the original CD/DVD and product keys. It is also a good idea to backup all your important files on a DVD so that you do not lose them also.

If, however, you bought a copy of 'detail' of Windows, that is, you yourself bought the DVD in a store, then you can do a clean install. To do a clean install with a full copy of the 'detail' of Windows vista, see this link from my Web site:http://vistasupport.mvps.org/install_windows_vista.htm

Copies installed at the factory, a new installation will wipe your hard drive completely, then make sure that you back up important files.

  • Need of repair for CD-rom update on Satellite Pro L20

    Hello
Is there anywhere I can download a repair manual for Satellite Pro L20 that I just bought a dvdrw drive & want to adapt it myself

    TIA

    Hello

Unfortunately, you won't find manuals repair on the Toshiba site. Only Toshiba service partners have such documents and the ability to use laptop manuals.
As far as I know, the reader is fixed with a screw that is placed at the bottom of the unit and under the keyboard.
After the withdrawal of these two screws, you can disconnect an optical drive to the connector on the system board.

But without any experience, you must remove all readers. I think you should ask the service of Toshiba for help because he has more experience in such cases

Don t think that everyone here will be able to help you and to get links to repair manuals.
Always is it that these books are not for public use; just for the Toshiba authorized service providers.

So if you need assistance, you must contact the ASP in your country.
