Wi - Fi turned off at startup-Windows 7

I have a Toshiba laptop that was recently refused to turn on wi - fi at startup. It by default will be turned on, but still no show all available networks. I have to turn wi - fi off and on again so that it can detect my wireless network. I use am Atheros AR902WB-1NG wireless network adapter. He had trouble in the past, but never this. I update the drivers using the automatic search, checked the power settings, etc. There is no actual switch wireless on the laptop, it needs a combination of fn keys. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

If it's built Tosh in without wire then visit support of Tosh, install chipset & all drivers wireless

Do not use the update of windows, which is what you do to a laptop or PC brand

  • Inspiron 9300 screen turns off after the Windows Logo screen

Inspiron 9300 my wife became severely infected.  I thought I had some weird things start popping up of the problem decided to wipe the hard drive and start over.  Unfortunately, I don't have to restore disks when I bought the computer.  I install windows xp pro service pack 2 full retail version.

Installation was not a problem until I installed the driver ATI Mobility x 300.  I followed directions for installation from the website, do the installation of xp followed of the dell system software update followed of chipset followed video driver.  After that whenever I put on, the screen turns off after the Windows Logo.  The computer is still running and if I plug an external monitor everythng is fine.

I tried all the troubleshooting tips I've seen in this forum.  I did a full install twice. made of safety boots (all right), started in VGA mode (works fine), I ran diagnostics from fn on startup, including express, extended and video tests and they pass all the controls.  I'm sure it's a software problem, but have been unable to solve.  I've updated the ATI bios although when I run it says already installed and done one installs x 300 driver on 6 ttimes own.

I know it must be something simple that I'm missing. My system is the Inspiron 9300 with 2 GB of ram and the mobility x 300 card.  Any help would be appreciated.

  • Satellite L350 - display turns off during startup

My screen laptop L350 itself turns off during startup after posting normally for about 2 seconds. It is possible to get the display back to normal if you go to sleep and then wake, but the new screen only stays on for about 2 seconds. This makes it almost impossible running the diagnostics.

Does anyone have an idea what might happen?

    Hello

Have you tried an external monitor?

Perhaps the internal display is affected and needs to be replaced

  • Windows Defender is turned off at startup

    Hello

Whenever I start my computer, Windows Defender is disabled & I have to turn it on manually. It's funny, because on my start up programs, I set it up so that it starts when my computer starts, and yet it is always disabled.

Sometimes it lights fine, but other times it stays on until I try to do a scan. Sometimes, if I have a scanner, it turns off. I scanned my computer for viruses & malware but nothing came.

This started after I updated my AVG for AVG 2011 a month ago.

How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you.

Before the last update AVG my windows Defender would automatically go to the beginning upward. How can I get it to start automatically again?

    M.Roman25,
You have already been informed that AVG is supposed to turn Windows Defender because AVG has his own Defender.

But, if you insist to know how to turn on Windows Defender, here's how...
WARNING: you can't and you shouldn't have to, do that.
Prepare AVG if he stops again.

    Assuming you are using Vista:
Start button > in the search box, type Services> press the Enter key > scroll to find Windows Defender, click on it >...
topic status , it must be said... Has begun
under Startup Type, it must be said... Automatic
If it does not say that, right click on Windows Defender > click Properties >
in Startup Type, click on the pointer to the right and select automatic
to the service status, click Start
Click OK when finished. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • Qosmio F50 - cannot turn off microphone on Windows 7

Since installing windows 7, the microphone on my laptop seems to be permanently. Which is really bloody annoying when you go to your music and you get a very high feedback sound height. If anyone has had this problem or can anyone help?

also the Fn key works more :(

    > Although I still can't get the FN button work. I can not see the maps flash at the top of the screen, but I could never before. I tried to restart the flash cards, but which does nothing. I don't want to do that all the time, like using my mouse to click on them. I just want to use the FN key to use.
You can turn off flash cards so that they don't appear on the display.

So navigate to start > all programs > TOSHIBA > utilities > settings for Flash cards

Clear the option allow the mouse to make the maps. This means that cards Flash appears only if you press a FN key, but not with the mouse more. :)

    See you soon

  • Latitude D610 screen turns off after the Windows XP loading screen

I'm having a problem with my Latitude D610 where after the Windows XP loading screen, the screen turns off completely. No BSOD, no login screen, just a white screen. This started happening at least a year, however, I bought a new computer if it is passed to the hatch. I tried the system restore when it appeared first without success. The computer starts in Mode safe. Any suggestions?

If it starts in mode without failure, then its almost certainly a driver and with the blank screen problem, I suspect a display driver.

  • iPod Touch 5 - turns off during startup

    iPod Touch 5th generation - iOS 9 (9.3.1 I think).

A few days ago my iPod Touch battery die and stop, so I plugged it to the top as usual, he went to the lock screen, then turns off. Since then, when I try to reactivate it, the logo Apple shows about 5 to 10 seconds, then it just stops. I tried to let the battery drain completely by the tightening of the switch down for 24 hours and then by him plugging in, but the same thing happens. I tried to let it charge for 24 hours, but that it did not set or the other. iTunes on my PC does not recognize because it starts all the way to the top, and my home button is broken, so I'm not able to try to go in DFU mode. Even if I could go into DFU/Recovery mode, I really, really, REALLY don't want to restore because that 1. It would be a major pain to get all my data back and 2. I don't have a recent backup.

So I don't really know what else to try. Maybe the battery has not? It is quite old and no longer holds its charge. If I had to get the button "home" replaced and I am able to get it into DFU mode, is there something I could do to fix it without restoring?

It has never been jailbroken or modified. I had not done something out of the ordinary with her before this happened, it just happen out of the blue.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

  • My computer guard turn off at startup; error starting Windows. Could someone help me please?

    Hello

I have an Emachine, which is about three years old. We take good care of it, look at what we download and perform analyses of virus frequently a week. But for the last two or three weeks every time we start our computer, it takes a few times before he can actually get into Windows because it maintains power off. When he died, and we turn it back on, the computer goes to the screen if you want to put it in safe mode or start Windows normally, because there was an error starting. The computer offers the possibility to try and correct the error, but sometimes it is remedial and it still happens or it goes into repair mode and powers off the coast.

We downloaded and installed the System Mechanic (the latest version), hoping that it could detect errors in the disk hard because we heard good things about the program. Unforunately after installation and with us the program running, he finds errors in all of the computer, but after you power on your computer and leave it alone for a few hours and turn on again, the problem comes back right to the top. From a logical point of view, we think it could be either an error on the HDD causing constantly turning the computer off, there might be a virus in the Startup Repair which is not find and fix the problem or there might be something wrong with the power supply by to short circuit and power off.

Nine times out of ten once the computer is turned on, you can even say that there is a problem to be with, because everything works well. We have some important information about the computer is harmful that we can find and fix the problem.

Thanks a lot for your time!

    Cory

Step 1: Disconnect any external devices and try to start the computer.

Step 2: Check if the computer starts in safe mode.

  • my HP Pavilion p7 - 1267c turns off during startup

Hi, my HP Pavilion p7 - 1267c close while I was reading a Web site with no other programs running. When I turn it back on it will start to start and say "keyboard error" and I won't be able to choose all the options during the startup. Then it goes to a screen saying a recent change in software or hardware may have occurred and I would like to launch the implementation of fix. Because I can't use the keyboard after 30 seconds it automatically selects that tries to start Windows and then comes up with the fix it box. As he seeks the problem it click on and then stop. I tried a few things I've read these tips like making sure that the fans are running (which they are) and the cleaning of the dust. I could not smell any burned, I opened the tower and see nothing that looks like a short circuit. I removed the power supply and did not note anything inside that looked burnt. The computer is only about a year and clean inside. I tried to plug it into different outlets as well as with the same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Satellite 2410 603 run diskcheck and then turns off after startup

When I turn on my PC it runs a check disk and tells that the following file is not valid: windows/prefetch\matcli.exe-061DBA
After the disk check, it starts up to the main screen and then stops as if I had pushed the power switch.

Is there a way to solve this problem without the recovery running disk (and thus losing all my data)?

    Hi guy,

MATCLI. EXE is a component of AOL Broadband and is usually optional (i.e. it is not necessary to run Windows).

The PREFETCH folder is from which your laptop try to play the file. It is an area where Windows stores copies of files that are usually loaded during the start-up phase, so that they can be pre-loaded in the cache, which allows Windows to start up more quickly.

It is advisable to clear the contents of the PREFETCH folder on a basis regular (Microsoft recommends a monthly purge of prefetch contents), but you can just delete the folder PREFETCH itself since Windows will allocate a new start-up.

Since you can't actually start Windows to delete the PREFETCH content I suggest that you try to start your laptop in 'SAFE' mode, since this will only start with the minimum of Windows files. If this succeeds, then delete the PREFETCH folder before you try to start Windows normally again.

As a final thought, it might well be a corruption on your hard drive for some reason any and it would be a good idea to run a utility to check hard disk in order to assess the State of your hard drive (using CHKDSK from Windows or a third party utility such as Norton Disk Doctor).

    Kind regards

  • DROID: Turn off the startup sound?

Is it possible to disable the sound of starting on the DROID? I like that I have the best phone in the history of the known universe, but sometimes I need to turn it on without announcing this fact to the whole world (as when I'm in a boring meeting at work, for example). Thanks for the help!

Plain and simple - 'yes '.

Press the menu button on the home screen

    Then 'settings '.

    then "sound" and "display settings."

    Scroll down for

"SD Card Notifications" and clear the check box.

The startup sound is in fact noted that the SD card is in preparation "mounted".

You can also set the "Notification of sounds" in this same part of 'Silent'... that silences e-mail notice and all the things that appear in the notification bar.

  • How to turn off AutoConnect on Windows 7 when I can not enter a password?

    I used the instructions here:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-security/how-to-turn-on-automatic-logon-in-Windows-7/99d4fe75-3F22-499B-85fc-c7a2c4f728af
to activate the automatic connection to my account. I am the only user and it's only for a game machine, there is nothing on the computer, that I was worried about other people to visit.
But I can't run anything as an administrator. I can't run some software I have and which requires administrator access because when I try, the user account control appears and says I need to enter a password. There is no possibility of entering a password, the Yes button is gray and I can only click on the No button.
I can't reverse the procedure because of this problem. It asks me to enter a password, and I can't do it.
I can't use Regedit for disable the automatic connection. Regedit will not write the new value, probably because I have not entered a password. Or that I have not run Regedit as an administrator (which I can't do).
I started using the safe and have had the same problem.
Is that what I can do to reverse this procedure?
    Thank you.
Readers are went well and I can go into the command line and go through the entire disk.

If you can see the folder \Windows on drives C:, D:, E: or F: there is hope. Please send a note to (address removed) for additional instructions.
