  He is quite child's play.  Just go to the Windows 10 download page and use your Windows 7 product key when prompted.

  I could solve the problem by creating a USB bootable from the downloaded file. DMG file (which is still too too complicated).

  In disk utility, add a USB and delete all content. Once this is done, you can double-click on the dmg to mount the adobe files. From there, you can return to the disk utility, and go into the second part of the now deleted USB (probably without title if you don't rename). Click on restore and select the CD to restore from (I'm on El Capitan beta, a few different stages so that it is). It takes a bit to restore, but once it's done, you can launch the installation of the usb now.

  Surprised, I can install both CS4 and CS5.5 downloads, simply not CS5, which is what leads me to believe that the file is buggy if it is not started from a disk.

Whenever I try to launch the program, the system inform me that Illustrator is not compatible with my operating system and I should change the settings for programs that don't support Unicode.   I contacted Adobe experts, but they do not know the solution and they sent me here. Is it possible to solve my problem? If this isn't the case - download the English version of Illustrator? Although it is part of Web Premium, a consultant from Adobe suggested it would not work as I have for the Web Premium serial number not for Illustrator itself.

  Fortunately, I managed to find a solution. It's pretty simple - all I had to do was to change the settings for programs that do not support Unicode in the language of my operating system (in my case - Polish [sic!]). For all of you who are having the same problem - you can find this option in the control panel > regional and Language Options (in Windows 10 regions only) as described here: How to change the language for non-unicode programs settings in Win10?

  That's all. Everything works fine again - I can't believe :)
