  I received the same message. It s not an error but a balloon tip Windows.
  I didn't find the reason for this message because my phone supports USB 2.0 ports too and I also connected a USB 2.0 compatible device.

  I've tired to remove the Device Manager, the controllers and the USB hubs and updated the Win XP operating system to the last State. I've also updated the driver chipset but sometimes (not always) this message again using a disc HARD 2.5 USB.

  I read in some professional computer magazines that this message is normal and it might appears with some SATA external USB hard drives. So you can ignore it.
  It s nothing serious.

  Visual Studio can run on 32-bit Windows as well (in fact the IDE is still 32-bit only) If Yes, you can install it on both 32-bit or 64-bit OS depending on the exact model of ThinkPad 8. There ThinkPad 8 32-bit and 64-bit models, but you can not 'put' 32-bit to 64-bit, it's fixed function BIOS. It comes also to specs HW, 32-bit models had only 2 GB of RAM and 64-bit more 4 GB of RAM.

  Yes to your question: that is waiting for your audience? Of course, it is easy to implement the RTT in Veristand applications, the exception being CAN / LIN. I would avoid the hassle if possible.

• NI-CAN 2.6.3: MAX UI Language

  I installed NI-CAN 2.6.3 (MAX 4.6.0f1) on Japanese Windows XP (SP3), for use with my NI USB-8473/8472 modules.  I have no control over the language of the OS, but I absolutely have to get interface user of MAX to display in English, not Japanese.  When I install NI-CAN on an English edition of Windows XP, the MAX UI displays well in English.  This proves that the MAX's user interface is related to the language of the OS.  But I need a work around for this so I can get the MAX to display all the text in the user interface in English, even if the version of Windows XP is Japanese.

  How can I accomplish this?

  If you go into Control Panel"regional and Language Options, you will get three tabs.  In Regional Options change the first option English (United States).  On the languages tab, select Details and change the default input for English (United States) language.  In the Advanced tab, select English (United States) for the non-Unicode programs.  After having changed all three of these features, you should be able to see MAX in English.
