I can't access TCP/IPv4

Hello

When I double click on TCP/IPv4, it does not open. I can't even click on properties, when I click on install---> Protocol, it displays a message: access is denied.

Help please

I saw at least a similar situation which was fixed by running a full scan with MalwareBytes AntiMalware.

Download, install, update and run MBAM and report results.  https://www.Malwarebytes.org/

Use the free version, not the free trial of the pro"" version.  Pay attention during installation uncheck any prechecked boxes that would install some additional third-party programs.

  • How can I activate the TCP/IPv4 properties button?

Hello everyone, I am trying to solve a problem on my Windows 7 netbook. When I run ipconfig he returned only this line "IP Configuration of Windows" with later data. When I go to the wireless adapter and select Protocol Internet Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), the properties button is disabled. I unchecked the IPv6 checkbox. The wireless adapter is connected to the WiFi hotspot, but the status is not 'connected' for IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity connectivity. I already used the netsh command to reset the interfaces by this link ( http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/tcpipv4-properties-button-disabled/347899fa-b60a-40a3-ad2c-78ef5e0dca37 ). I also have the same problem with my Wired NETWORK card. Please can someone configure me this adapter to get a static IPv4 address or via DHCP?

-Also reset the TCP/IP stack via (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357?wa=wsignin1.0#letmefixit )

    -Also tried re-installing the drivers (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/the-tcp-ip-v4-protocol-for-the-built-in-wireless/a28c5096-d1c4-4cc4-ab56-236a163e3a96 )

    I had the same problem.

I noticed that the button of properties available on the network security mode. So I started to disable suspicious services then I found the problem: his "Service to safety nut.

Doing some research, I discovered that it comes with adware 'Movies Toolbar'. Even if you uninstall the "Toolbar Movies", "The safety nut" always running.

To uninstall it just open services.msc, double click on 'Service of safety nut' and change the Startup Type to disable, and then restart Windows. When Windows are online again, the button of properties will be available and the safety nut will no longer appear on the services.

    It will be useful.

  • LLTP responder and TCP/IPv4 for SP3 upgrade

I downloaded SP3... and it works very well... but it has not installed perturb or TCP/IPV4... I tried to install the perturb topology after you install SP3, but because I have already installed SP3, Microsoft say I don't need to install the perturb topology... So I'm puzzled!

    What can I please!

Edit...  Can I somehow install topology perturb, (KB file) separately without removing SP3... That would be my preferred method...

    Thanks in advance

    See you soon

The perturb topology LLTD Responder (Discovery) for Windows XP SP3 is available for download here .

TCP/IPv4 is a standard part of all versions of Windows XP, and it appears in the connection network under Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties.  If you have access to your local network or Internet, IPv4 is installed.

  • Tecra M5: Can not access the internet pages, but can ping in cmd.exe

Hi all, this is confusing to me.

I've been happily connected to my WLAN for more than a year without any problems. I recently updated my drivers for the following on my Tecra M5:

    -Intel Pro Wireless adapt
    -Drivers audio Sigmatel
    -nVidia graphics card

Now, after facilities, everything was fine. However, a few days later, I turned on the laptop and went to IE7 and it cannot display the web page (my homepage is www.google.co.uk). I called my ISP to help and they reported problems on the service, and they gave me the www.google.co.uk ip address I got a response of in cmd.exe. It seems that I can get out on the internet but I can't access the Web pages - it could be a DNS issue?

I have disabled my A - V and firewall and tried but get the same question. I also tried to restore the PC back more than a month and it did not help either. I'd appreciate any help that anyone can give.

I also plugged the laptop directly into the router using an ethernet cable, so it's not only a wireless issue either.

I have installed any other software at all at the moment and the only other thing that got my attention, it's that, in the field of restoration, there a lot of system restore points, which I wasn't expecting to see in the last month. But it could be a Kipper.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

According to your message, you are not able to connect to internet via LAN and WLan. Is this good?

Well, in your case I would first check the router settings and re still.
In addition, you must reset the router.

Usually, the router assigns the IP address, and therefore you would just plug the laptop LAN cable and then should be able to connect to the internet.
Please note that the TCP/IP protocol settings must be set to automatic.

    Check everything first!

    Hello

I have a desktop PC with windows XP (Professional) on this subject, but I can't access to the pc through the remote desktop tool. I already checked several options, but nothing seems to work. I don't even get an error message, the window just those which blinks and nothing happens...

    Could you please help?

This is wat I already checked:

-"allow users to connect remotely...". ' is running

    -TCP/IP listening on port 3389

    -Terminal services are started

-J' tried connecting to Windows 7 and Windows XP, nothing works

-Ping the ip address of the client PC works fine

If you have any other ideas, I would be very gratefull!

    Thanks to advandce

You will probably need to open port 3389 on your router so that it maps on the computer that is tuned to the connections of the DRC. It seems that you did all the other steps, but your router can prevent the connection to go anywhere. Here's a detailed guide to configure your router for DRC that can provide some guidance.

  • TCP/IPv4 obtain DNS automatically

    Hi all

I have my router configured to use dns to opendns servers, and everything works fine except for my desktop under Vista SP3 PC.

I have my router set up because of the IP based on MAC addresses, so I have the TCP/IPv4 set to obtain an IP and DNS address automatically.

My problem is the PC of Office Watch reset itself and registering an address in the DNS server box. How do I delete these addresses and force it to Auto adjust.

I don't really want to put in the openDNS servers, in case I decide to go back to my ISP servers. I prefer to keep auto and make the changes on the router.

It becomes very frustrating to have to keep resetting.

Go to start / Control Panel / Internet Options / connections / select the connection and click settings.  Click on properties and go to work in network and select TCP/IPv4.  Under TCP/IPv4, select properties and make sure that the first page says get an address of DNS server automatically.  Click Advanced and then click DNS.  Make sure that the only two boxes checked are Append primary and Suffixes connection specific DNS and add relatives of the main DNS - nothing else suffix suffixes.  Click OK and save this.  This should solve the problem.  But I suspect that you already did (probably several times) so let's move on.

The only other option that I can think of is to reset the TCP/IP stack that can get rid of the incorrect addresses and run and fresh with the correct settings.  Here is the procedure:http://geekswithblogs.net/mattcampbell/archive/2007/09/30/Resetting-your-whole-IP-stack-in-Vista.aspx.  I don't know if this will help, but if you are having problems with TCP/IP, it is one way that many people use to solve.  Then you will need to reconfigure the TCP/IP settings and then you can see if that does the trick.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    Hi cwhlaw2009,

You must configure a policy Split-tunnel, if you want to be able to access the internal and local network at the same time.

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/ASA-5500-x-series-next-generation-firewalls/100936-asa8x-split-tunnel-AnyConnect-config.html

  • (RV220W) Help! How can I access with my FileZilla Server?

Hi everyone - please help a noob of network configuration!  :-)

I want to share files with people, so I downloaded server software package of FileZilla (free) and now need to get my RV220W router to allow the traffic to this server... and because of my limited understanding of how it all works together, I am currently blocked.

So if someone could guide me a bit, it would be really great!  I read a few responses from people on port forwarding, but cannot operate in my situation... and probably because I did not understand how the communication happens... like which ports go where and what IP address should be linked to another, etc..

    Here's what I know though:

    FileZilla server - IP 127.0.0.1/port 21 + username + psw

    RV220W router IP 192.168.1.1

    My "external IP" = 37.75.XXX.XXX

    More info needed?

Now, should what I do, in order to let the other access my server via a klient FTP FileZilla?  :-)

Oh and I'm using the latest version of firmware RV220W (menu seems reorganized between some versions).

    Input greatly appreciated!  :-)

You must go to the firewall section (sometimes called security) the router and set up a rule to access the IP address of ANY side ALLOW WAN to the local IP address of the FTP server. Then go to transfer port (sometimes called Apps and games on some routers) and set up a single port forward port 21 to the local IP address of the FTP server. The 127.0.0.1 address you stated is the Local host, which is not the IP of your server network. Go to the command line and run ' ipconfig / has "without the quotes. Find your ethernet interface, and it will tell you the IP address assigned. You might have to configure this server with a static IP address either by making a reservation in DHCP from the router, or to go in your server network connection properties and there to under TCP/IPv4 properties. This way your server will not change IP addresses when the DHCP lease runs out.

    I hope this helps...

You seasoned here guys kill... You should be ready to help people, regardless of their level of experience. There was a time where you guys didn't know squat either...
