  Well, I have access to my corporate firewall settings, or I would have.

  I managed to start using the Activate 'permanent' offline by generating a code and get the response from Adobe code. I don't know if it's the best solution. I don't know how many times Acrobat Pro XI needs to access the net.  At least it works.

  I bought an old copy of Adobe 7.0 Pro and I am not able to activate it.  It came with documentation to it.  I get to the screen where I need to activate it in, but when I click on the button to move to the next screen, it is not highlighted.  Is that mean that I bought a copy that has already been activated?  If so, is it any way to activate it or am I out of luck?

  There is another problem with AA7. The activation server has been removed. To use the product, you will need to go to http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm and follow the directions there. The site is not only for CS2, but also AA7. You need to download a different version. Don't forget that AA7 does not work on Win7 or later without workarounds. The basic product may operate, but the printing process will fail.
