I can't answer calls

I'll see the incoming call on my Z3 Xperia but even when I swipe left to answer, it lags behind and then I ultimately miss the call.

Someone else has this problem and, hopefully, a solution?

Yes, the same thing happened. However, I 'fixed' it by being more patient when I answer the phone and hit swipe 'response' slower so that it can register.

Not a great solution but it works!

  • BlackBerry Q5 you may not believe this, but I can't answer calls on my phone Blackberry Q5!

You may not believe this, but I can't answer calls of my Q5.

I followed these instructions (somewhat strange):

"To answer a call, touch and hold the name or phone number and drag it to the bottom of the screen."

... but the phone call sound until the call go to voicemail.

    Any suggestions?

Something not right here. To answer a call, you simply press the "Reply" button green. No, I have not used a Q5, but with BlackBerry phones of 7-8 that I used it, it's how it's done.

    Then...

We will restart your phone. Press on and hold both volume up and down buttons at the same time for 20 seconds. Ignore everything you see on the screen before 20 seconds. You can let go of them when you see the name of BlackBerry appear. Once your phone has rebooted, try once more answering a call.

  • I can't answer received no Apple users iMessages. He used to work, but suddenly it doesn't. I checked all my settings, but nothing seems to work. Help!

I can't answer received no Apple users iMessages. I checked all my settings and they seem to be set correctly, it has occurred a random recent request to resign in my Apple account. Initially it would not accept my login iCloud, but then he did, and this problem occurred.

I had a similar problem, in that all messages have been through imessage.    Originally thought it was my mobile phone provider, after a diagnosis on my framework of contacts, is found there is a huge reliability issue in all the rounds of iOS 9 (I have several devices on the different versions of 9).    Before the 9.2 update, I got a lot to reallocate iMessages on the end of contacts (although I might receive).    Contacts have called, I was wondering why I didn't answer.  Here's how I discovered.   Shut iMessage on your iPhone and the text now.  SMS works completely. iMessage is totally reliable.

  • You can text or call using hp slatebookx2?

I'm not a techno wizzard, so forgive the stupid question.

You can text or phone call from hp slatebook 7?

I can't locate the sms settings in all environments. I run contact lists in various pkaces, but no icon on the desktop.

Very confused and frustrated. Any help is appreciated.

OK, a different device, same answer.  It is not a mobile phone.

Ask you to work around this problem, aka software to pretend it's a phone?

There are a lot of apps that will make calls to landlines, but there is a cost involved.  For example, Skype can call landlines but only if you buy minutes from them in advance.  It can make video calls to other computers, tablets and phones for free if the program is installed on the receiving device.

I have a soft of Xfinity that let's place me and receive phone calls from my tablet, because I use them as my internet provider and telephone.  It can also send TEXT messages from my landline 'House' (which confuses the heck out of my friends when they see the phone number!  (LOL.)  This application will not work unless you are his client.

Perhaps, some other reading this thread can consistent with the recommendations of the app!

  • Unable to answer calls

Hi, my compact Z3 has been works well, but tonight I suddenly noticed that I cannot answer incoming calls in standby mode or when the home screen is active. The phone rings out, but the icons by scanning for answering the call simply appear no more even when the home screen is active. If the phone rings in the standby mode, the phone, simply remains empty and cannot be woken. Finally, the call times out and leaves a message on my voicemail. I see the notification light blinks and the phone rings, but the screen is otherwise empty. If I try to press the power button to wake up the phone then the call is immediately diverted to my voicemail service.

I can make outgoing calls OK, but incoming calls can no longer respond! I cycled power several times but the problem still persists. It's weird! Y at - it some sort of setting I can have inadvertently clicked that could possibly cause this? Thanks for any light you can contribute on it.

Hmmm have checked the settings of "notification"?

Settings > personalization > manage notifications

'All' down there are several services that can be disabled and enabled. If you can't answer the phone calls, it is possible that thelephony or InCallUi has been disabled.

  • BlackBerry Z10 answering calls

    Hi all

Thanks for all the support you guys give, it is much appreciated.

I'm having trouble answering calls at times, 'down arrow' is displayed, but no matter how many times I drag it, it won't register. Now, I admit that maybe it's me but someone else has a similar problem and also, does anyone know of an app that would replace the "down arrow" with a single button?

You can try dragging the finger from just above the arrow?

  • SX20 Quick Set registered but can not make calls

We have several new SX20 units, two of which I installed and registered via SIP with UCM (v8.6.2, required a pack of devices).  I can make a call to the SX20 since a regular IP phone (7961 - SCCP), answering the call to unity of telepresence and continue a conversation only one voice.  However what composition of the SX20 the other SX20 or any other IP phone it briefly displays "call for binding", then it goes immediately to the "call was disconnected.  I tried just the DN 4-digit, as well as the SIP URI of numbering.  Here is a part of the log output of command line for the sx20 indicating the call SIP is rejected with a 403 forbidden message.

It is worth noting that before these devices, we have had no recorded via SIP, SCCP phone only.  At this point, these devices don't need to dial outside of our network.  I had a case open for two weeks and keep TAC is passed between the teams of telepresence and the AAU.  I told them we have never had a SIP device registered with our University Complutense of MADRID before and if there is nothing else to be configured, the answer was nothing more for internal calls only.  I'm trying to get escalated now, but thought I'd give forums a go.  Any help is greatly appreciated, and I apologize if this question is that something is ridiculously simple.

A look at the logs on your case - looks like there is no number to call in the header AMATURES or Contact, so CUCM rejects the appeal and sends the 403 forbidden.  Note the field 'From' below - should be sip:[email protected] / * /.  What you configured as your SIP URI in your SX20?  Not that familiar with the SX20, but on my EX90 in the laboratory, there is a field of a SIP URI for that I had to enter the DN @ address >.  Anything on CUCM that would block the DN to be passed to the SX call to IP phone?

  • BlackBerry smartphones need help w / answering calls flip phone

I would like to disable the functionality of answering a call by opening the flip phone. The question that I have is the info they have to which I'll share below does not work for me, in the sense that... directions tell me to go to menu, then options which is fine - but the next step to go to the General options is my problem - I have no general options. I click on menu, then options, there is no general option for me to choose and I still have to find the place where auto answer calls. Can someone help me please?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You might have missed the correct starting location, you're not crazy!

Turn off the green button, menu button, options, General options, auto answer calls.

    Thank you

  • EX90 two autonomous with the public IP address can make video calls among them self on the Internet or not?

    Dear expert;

I am very new to VCS and TP Cisco.

We implement now presence Cisco TV with VCS - C, VCS-E TMS, TCS, MCUS and endpoints with Jabber in a single edit.

and in another configuration CUCM 10.5, UCCX 10.5 IM & P, Jabber with some 10 officers.

Now the question is in our building on the 2nd floor we have an EX90 and on the 5th floor an EX90 and on local network, we can make video calls using the IP address.

In the same way is it possible to make a video call between 2 devices EX90 (both have public IP) present in a location different in the same city on the Internet without the participation of VCS - C and VCS-E.

    It's the client request :)

    Concerning

    Paiva

Yes, but leaving these systems outside in nature with public IP addresses, leaving you are vulnerable to a number of questions. See for example http://www.videonationsltd.co.uk/2014/11/h-323-cisco-spam-calls/

    https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/12336591/sourceh323idcisco-incomingcalls

    https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/12340591/nuisance-h323-calls-SX20

The offers above with H.323 calls, in addition to this, you will encounter similar problems using SIP where the systems will be analyzed by tools such as SIPVicious
