Unable to answer calls

Hi, my compact Z3 has been works well, but tonight I suddenly noticed that I cannot answer incoming calls in standby mode or when the home screen is active. The phone rings out, but the icons by scanning for answering the call simply appear no more even when the home screen is active. If the phone rings in the standby mode, the phone, simply remains empty and cannot be woken. Finally, the call times out and leaves a message on my voicemail. I see the notification light blinks and the phone rings, but the screen is otherwise empty. If I try to press the power button to wake up the phone then the call is immediately diverted to my voicemail service.

I can make outgoing calls OK, but incoming calls can no longer respond! I cycled power several times but the problem still persists. It's weird! Y at - it some sort of setting I can have inadvertently clicked that could possibly cause this? Thanks for any light you can contribute on it.

Hmmm have checked the settings of "notification"?

Settings > personalization > manage notifications

'All' down there are several services that can be disabled and enabled. If you can't answer the phone calls, it is possible that thelephony or InCallUi has been disabled.

  • BlackBerry phone Q10 automatically answers call

I have a flip case for my phone. When the phone rings and I open flip answer the call automatically which removes the option to not take the call. It starts only yestrerday who happens, before I could open the suitcase and answer calls normally. No idea of what is happening and how to stop it?

Check this setting, open your phone app (tap the call icon).

Swipe down from the top to the SETTINGS.

    Tap Holster.

TURN OFF response call by withdrawing from the case.

    In addition...

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now let's see if the same will continue.

  • BlackBerry Q5 you may not believe this, but I can't answer calls on my phone Blackberry Q5!

You may not believe this, but I can't answer calls of my Q5.

I followed these instructions (somewhat strange):

"To answer a call, touch and hold the name or phone number and drag it to the bottom of the screen."

... but the phone call sound until the call go to voicemail.

    Any suggestions?

Something not right here. To answer a call, you simply press the "Reply" button green. No, I have not used a Q5, but with BlackBerry phones of 7-8 that I used it, it's how it's done.

    Then...

We will restart your phone. Press on and hold both volume up and down buttons at the same time for 20 seconds. Ignore everything you see on the screen before 20 seconds. You can let go of them when you see the name of BlackBerry appear. Once your phone has rebooted, try once more answering a call.

Please post back with your results.

    Hi all

Thanks for all the support you guys give, it is much appreciated.

I'm having trouble answering calls at times, 'down arrow' is displayed, but no matter how many times I drag it, it won't register. Now, I admit that maybe it's me but someone else has a similar problem and also, does anyone know of an app that would replace the "down arrow" with a single button?

You can try dragging the finger from just above the arrow?

  • BlackBerry smartphones need help w / answering calls flip phone

I would like to disable the functionality of answering a call by opening the flip phone. The question that I have is the info they have to which I'll share below does not work for me, in the sense that... directions tell me to go to menu, then options which is fine - but the next step to go to the General options is my problem - I have no general options. I click on menu, then options, there is no general option for me to choose and I still have to find the place where auto answer calls. Can someone help me please?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You might have missed the correct starting location, you're not crazy!

Turn off the green button, menu button, options, General options, auto answer calls.

  • Unable to answer the call of the CSQ

    Hello

We have intermittent problems with some agents are unable to respond to a call for a CSQ. This seems to only happen when the call is transferred to one QSC to another.

    Scenario of
The call comes on CSQ1 and Agent1 answers the call.
Agent1 forwards the call to CSQ2.
In CSQ2, Agent2 can see their status is set to 'Reserved' at the office of the Agent, but the appeal does not ring on their phone. The call is still active on the phone to Agent1.
Agent1 can try to transfer again, but the same problem occurs. The call seems to be stuck on the phone to Agent1.

The question is not subject to an Agent or a CSQ, happened on multiple Agents in multiples of the CSQ. The agent is not a resource in both in these situations of CSQ.

  • updated Mac and now I am unable to answer the phone calls of the Mac

Yesterday I updated my Mac to the new operating system.  Since then, I could not pick up calls from the Mac as I used to.

Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?

    Hi jlfrisella!

I see that you are unable to use the calls feature cell phones iPhone on your Mac since the update to Mac OS Sierra.  I can understand wanting this function runs on the right, and I'm happy to help you.  Please see requirements and instructions in the following articles.

Continuity of use to connect your Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple Watch

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

    See you soon!

  • Unable to receive calls from Apple Watch, using WIFI AT & T calls, when the iPhone is turned on, turned off or in Airplane Mode.

I work on this issue and wanted to involve the community.

I have tests the functionality Apple Watch and have been unable to solve my problems with WIFI call. I use the AT & T and I am connect to the strip of the 5 GHz on my router Xfinity.

I am able to make/receive calls from my iPad and Mac laptop when iPhone is off / Mode plane; However, this feature does not work on the watch. I can make and receive calls from the watch when the phone is turned on.

Another problem is that I am not able to send and receive messages (blue or green bubble) of the watch - once again when the phone is turned off or in flight Mode

I'll copy in 2 portions of the Web site: http://help.apple.com/watch/

    http://help.Apple.com/watch/#/apd0443fb403

If your Apple Watch is in range of a Wi - Fi network that the iPhone is connected to before, you can always do the following (even if the iPhone is off):

    • Send and receive digital messages Touch
    • Send and receive messages using Messages
    • Make and receive phone calls (if you have active calls, Wi - Fi, and you are within range of a Wi - Fi connected to your iPhone before)
    • Check current weather conditions
    • Track your inventory

    http://help.Apple.com/watch/#/apd2fe746e86

Make calls via Wi - Fi

If your cellular operator offers Wi - Fi calls, you can use Apple Watch to make and receive calls over Wi - Fi instead of cellular network - even when your pair iPhone isn't with you or is disabled. Apple Watch comes to be in range of a Wi - Fi network that is connected to your iPhone in the past.

To see if your carrier offers Wi - Fi calls, see the article Apple Support phone with Wi-Fi calls, then enable the calls on your iPhone and Apple Watch Wi - Fi.

Note: You can make emergency calls via Wi - Fi, but when possible, use rather iPhone over a cellular connection - your location information will be more specific.

Enable on iPhone Wi - Fi calls. On iPhone, go to settings > phone and turn on Wi - Fi calling and application to other devices.

Enable calls on Apple Watch Wi - Fi. Open the Apple Watch app on iPhone, tap My Watch, tap phone, then turn on Wi - Fi calls. If you do not see the parameter, make sure that you have activated calls on iPhone Wi - Fi.

Answer please if you are able to perform any of these functions! And any troubleshooting you can think!

I have... to connect to the 5 GHz on my... router bandwidth.

    Hello

These features are not available because Apple Watch cannot connect to a network of GHz Wi - Fi 5.

If your watch is not connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth, but lying in a 2.4 GHz Wi - Fi network your iPhone plugged in before, the watch can connect to this network and you can continue to use certain features, including Wi - Fi calls (when it is supported by your operator, you already have in place).

Phone go off the hook. Setup of the call must be made here. I guess that the anti-terrorism Act has sent 200 OK "response to confirmation by peers. It has not been recognized, call was BYEd peer (after 20 sec timeout).
The disconnection happens indeed on the remote side but after 'no answer'.
No way to have two the same call disconnection. Mobile phone received 'no response' for a reason. And your ATA did not sign-out request (well, I guess with any SIP connects available). The disconnection was initiated by an outside entity to you. Yes, it can be caused by some session parameters used by the anti-terrorism Act, but with no available SIP newspaper, we have little chance to guess the true cause. My best advice is (assuming that you are unable to capture the SIP packets now) - call your support operator for help. I suspect that the next PBX (from your side) launches the disconnection so logs of your operator should disclose the cause in its entirety.
  • Cannot answer calls unless Skype is the active application

When people call me Skype or a landline, I see and hear the same indication of an incoming call that I've always seen and heard. But unless Skype is the active application, Skype I am already in a call and sends an incoming call to voicemail in less than half a second, which of course is usually too fast for me to switch to Skype and answer the call. I checked my status, and it is online when this happens (I never set it to busy). I have never changed my call settings. They tell even Skype give me ten seconds to answer before sending people to your voicemail.

I am running version 7.0.0.102, auto-updated. It looks like this bug started when they come out of the UI is radically different, whenever it is, a month or two before.

    So messed up.

    TIA for any help.

    Yes. Disable automatic updates.

  • 4.2.0.11 - 1 for linux crashes when answering calls

Version 4.2.0.11 - 1 crashes regularly when answering a call. I had to respond without crashing once or twice after installation, but after that it crashes whenever I get a call. I've purged and reinstalled a couple of times. The previous version in the repository ubuntu (4.1.0.20) seems to work ok and I can stick w / that, but supposed to be the new version fixes bugs and I would like to know if anyone knows how to get the most recent version to work. This is on linux mint 13 w / kde 4.10.3 which is a derivative of ubuntu LTS 12,04.

    Thank you

Can you please tell me if this is a version of 32 or 64 bit?

If 64 can you please run this command via the console

    sudo apt - get install libasound2 - plugins:i386

and tell me if the problem?

  • Cannot answer calls to a locked screen

I have an iPhone 6 s more.  When my monitor is locked and a phone call comes, he says "Swipe to answer."  I drag, but all I get is a red phone icon, not the Green allowing you to answer the phone.  What I am doing wrong?

The "red phone" icon means you have answered the call. The Act of swiping is all you need. The acceptance/rejection of the buttons display only when the screen is unlocked.
