  This is a strange problem and post here is a coup in the water. I tried for three days to buy Lightroom 6 upgrade to the Adobe web site. The problem is that the cart will not update.   If clearing cookies doesn't help, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
  
  Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other files to present as cookie cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

  What is the site that you are trying to access too?  It is very possible that you are using a site that is not compatible with mobile browsers.  Well that more and more pages are more accessible, there are still some people who do not have some features on their mobile version.  I found that most of the sites that I use works perfectly well.  I guess that would be a problem of site but if you could post back to the site and we walk through the steps you took and what is happening, I am sure that an answer can be found.

  My guess is that you have a damaged or invalid certificate entry OS X KeyChain, but to directly answer this question, I would say that consider you something like HTTPS Everywhere. Note, it is not available for Safari. It is available directly through the Google Chrome browser extensions.
