I can't connect to wifi wireless I want more often recreatives__

I recently bought a new laptop that has windows 7 on it. I live next to a coffee shop and was able to use their wifi hot spot with my old office. Their website is not secure (doesn't have a password).  I asked the owner of the Café, and she said that no one else is having problems using the network wireless cafes. It is reset (powered by power-off) the router for me. One of my friends came and was able to connect with his computer. I have no other problems with connection problems in other cafes wireless hotspots. When I put them to the top of the login window Wi - Fi it usually shows 4-5 signal strength of bar for coffee, I connect not too.  Once I connect to wireless coffee it shows 'connected' but 'no internet access. It is also sometimes said "restricted access".   I'm looking for a solution to this problem.

Thank you

Dan

Thanks for the reply Cody.  I decided that there is a problem with the router. I had another person who has windows 7 on his cell phone and she could not get on the internet as well. For my computer wireless card internal both external card I bought do not work in this wifi hotspot.  I'm planning to get my own ip.

Thank you

  • I can´t connect via WIFI.

I can´t connect via WIFI. My equipment is a Realtek RTL8191SE WLAN 802.11n, is recognized by the computer as work, and the version of the driver is the last update, I found on the web (version 2015.1.427.2010, dated 2010.04.27. What should I do?

    Hi Jeremiah c,.

    ·         What happens when trying to connect via wifi?

    ·         You receive an error message/code?

    ·         Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    ·         What version of the operating system is installed on the computer?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Run the network troubleshooter utility.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

Method 2:  Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

If the problem does not persist in SafeMode with network, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 3: Temporarily disable the security software .

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 4: Follow the steps in the articles provided.

    Can someone please

    Hello

    > I pressed the FN + F8 combination keys and a box appears briefly on the screen, then disappears quickly

This is nothing unusual. You need to pass only to the WLan and then disappear the wishes of the box! There is nothing wrong.

First, you must activate the WLan switch on the side of cell phones! Then use the FN + F8 key to switch to the WLan.
Then use the configuration Windows own option or a 3rd party WLan client configuration tool like Atheros or Intel ProSet utility. But it depends on the WLan card manufacture what utility can be used!

Then set the right settings such as the SSID, password encryption, etc.
If you have set all right should then work!

  • I can't connect to any wireless internet access

My system is windows 7, before the internet was fine, I can go anywhere, but now I can't connect to any wireless network. I open the Panel of the network adapter, and I see only the local and other network connections, I downloaded (I downloaded them a long time ago, it has not affected my internet). Then I go to my friends computer and research and on any site that told me to look at the Device Manager. so I checked and under the map ISATAP and Teredo, there was a yellow exclamation point, and in the properties, it says "this device cannot start code 10." This has been a very serious problem, I can just keep borrowing my friend's pc, I really need help!

    Deng Hello,

Thank you for the update on the issue.

    1. How did you try to start the computer in safe mode?

Try to start in safe mode and check if the computer boots to the desktop

See the article: start your computer in safe mode

  • Can I connect to wifi using an older version of XP pro?

Hi, I tried to connect to a wifi system library with my Windows XP pro system. The OS is the drive immediately and has not been updated. It does not seem an option in "Network connections" for the wireless, but it has broadband services. I tried to connect with it, but without success. I don't see any of the available wifi signals shown. I have to upgrade to a later version of XP to see the 'Wireless Network Connection' option? The problem is, I have no way to upgrade, unless I can do it by downloading the file to update with my other computer that connects. Is it possible to connect with the XP version I have? Thank you very much!

The basic problem is that when Windows is freshly installed ("just behind the disc") missing drivers for a large number of materials, including in the case of laptops, which often use custom hardware.

You need to go to http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19?c=us&l=en&s=dhs and enter the Service of Dell (which is supposed to access you a page of download from Dell that uses drivers for your particular hardware configuration, rather than all the drivers for your Dell generic type).

Dell recommends that the drivers are installed in a particular order: http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/04/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&docid=DSN_1A0C0937D62A8739E0401E0A55174744

The Broadcom driver that you have installed is to the network (wired) Ethernet controller.  You must also install the driver for the wireless card.  Dell has installed several different models of wireless cards in the Latitude D620.  If using the Service tag, it does not narrow down, see if you can identify the make and model by looking at the entries in the Device Manager for the "Network controller" or "unknown device".

You can also see if the system information tool (start > run > msinfo32.exe > OK) provides information of brand and model of the wireless card.  Go to components > network (not, as you might assume, under "Resources").

  • I can't connect to wifi?

    Hello

For awhile now, my laptop does not connect to WiFi, it will not show again all WiFi connections. I have read questions posted by others on this site and I've tried steps as the removal of all WiFi connections made in the pass, troubleshooting and following the steps, etc. Troubleshooting continues to advise me to activate the wireless feature and I do, but it doesn't seem to register? He always tells me that it is off, even if it's on. I have had absolutely no problem before, I don't know if I clicked accidentally something settings, but has happened for some time now and I really want to solve this problem because I use a cable Ethernet instead of WiFi which is very inconvenient.

    Hello

Check with the system manufacturer, their documentation support online and drivers,
and ask questions in the forums about known problems. Some laptops have access to keys
turn the WiFi on and off.

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon:

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click
top - tab of the driver - write version - click on update driver (can't do
nothing that MS is far behind the certification of drivers). Then right click on the Wifi
Device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually
using the methods below is preferable to ensure that the latest system drivers
Creator and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

    ------------------------------------------------------

Make sure you know the details of connection to your wireless router - SSID and password.

You lose connection when you do and have to redo your logon.

Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - left side, click on manage
Remove the wireless network - right-click of networks - networks-
RESET. Start - Connect To - to log on to the network.

    I hope this helps.

  • How can I recover my wifi/wireless Intel ProSET software after I uninstalled the upgrade to Windows 7?

I am trying to install Windows 7 as an upgrade to Windows Vista, and it tells me that I need to uninstall my wifi/wireless Intel ProSET software (I have a Toshiba laptop, A350).  I hesitated to do it, but finally I uninstalled the software and of course now do not have internet.  I know that I can connect my modem for internet needed tough (via USB), but first I have some questions about the wireless...

    (1) because I lost my connection Uninstall wireless, I tried to get it back and didn't know how else do a restore of Windows.  I tried to restore to a restore point before I uninstalled the software, and then restart it says that Windows cannot restore because of an unspecified error.  What could be this error?  I tried several restore points and I get the same error.

    (2) how can I get the software reinstalled if I want to stay with Vista for now wireless?  Do I need to download it from the Intel site?  I can't find the software Intel ProSET wireless wifi on my computer.

    (3) if/when I install Windows 7 correctly, it'll reinstall my driver wireless automatically or do I have to manually reinstall software ProSET Intell wifi from the Intel site?

  • How can I connect using wifi?

I can't connect to an extract using wifi.

The first thing to check is to see if the preview work if you connect your iPhone/iPad to your computer via a USB cable.  If USB does not work, but you still want to use wifi, then here are some things to check.

For wifi, here are a few suggestions:

    1. Make sure that you have installed Photoshop CC 2015 updates, as have been some improvements in wifi connection.
    2. Make sure that you have signed in the creative cloud by using the same user account in the creative cloud desktop application and the iOS Preview app. To verify which user account is used on your computer, launch Photoshop CC 2015 > open the menu help > and confirm that you see your Adobe ID listed next to "logout".
    3. So that your device to appear in the device Preview Panel in Photoshop, the iOS app preview must be open and you must be logged in. Believe you that your device is listed in the overview of the unit Panel? You see the preview with instructions telling icon to launch the application and connect via USB or wifi?
    4. Make sure that your computer and your iOS device are on the same wi - fi network.  The overview of the unit Panel now displays a warning icon and a link to troubleshooting if there is a problem connecting via wifi to the computer running Photoshop for the device that is running the iOS Preview CC app.
    5. WiFi connections can now be initiated using the button "Check for Devices ' in the overview of the device Panel. If you have already connected devices, you will see a refresh button in the Panel that allows you to check for new wifi devices. Preview will automatically check for new wifi devices when you do one of the following: first launch Photoshop (if the Panel is open); Open the control panel; Open a document; or documents. Devices connected via USB are not affected by this change and will be always automatically connect.
    6. Make sure that your computer and your iOS device are on the same wireless subnet.
    7. If you use VPN on your computer or iOS device, try to disconnect from the VPN and then try to connect in the preview.
    8. If you have a firewall running, try to disable it temporarily and see if it is related to the problem.
    9. If you still have difficulty getting a wifi connection works, please send an email to [email protected] and tell us where you have wifi problems. At home? At work? Please let us also know what wifi equipment you use.
