I can't connect to windows 8

Everytime I try to log in it tells me to go to live.com to solve the problem. I am also the only administrate but I can sign into my account from microsoft. I tried many ways to try to solve the problem. I get up then he said need administration authorization. Can someone please help, has happened since Christmas and I can't update anything. Samsung computer is only 7 months old and came with windows 8 is already installed.

Hello

At this point, the best thing for you to do would be to contact Samsung, either by phone or online and order the disks, you need to restore your machine at the factory... The price is usually quite reasonable.

You start the computer with them and start from scratch... Do not use a Microsoft Account...

Just use a regular connection with a password.

You can also try Norton Removal Tool to remove the Norton 360... It may be the cause of the problem...

    Hello

If you are using XP Home Edition, the built-in Administrator account probably doesn't have a defined password. You can start in safe mode, where this account will be selectable when connecting. It allows to connect and change the password of your normal connection.

To start in safe mode, keep hitting F8 twice a second after turning on the PC until you get the start menu where safe mode is selectable by the up/down arrow keys, and then press ENTER.

If you are using XP Professional, try to connect using the built-in Administrator account. You don't need to do it in safe mode (although you can if you wish). If your normal login screen is a display of the user symbol and hit ctrl-alt-del twice to get to login to text entry. Type administrator as the user name and try a blank password.

  • Can not connect to Windows 8 on a computer that cannot connect to the internet

Hello. I have a complex version of a common problem. I can't connect to Windows 8 on a computer that I've not used within six months. The following conditions apply.

    1. I forgot the password which was used last on this computer to turn off the line connection
    2. unable to get the computer online because the only modern it might connect to a fried.

    3. it is a Vaio Duo and has no Ethernet port.

    4. I don't care about the data, so don't mind wiping clean but I don't want to pay for the office. Computer has no hard drive, so I can't restore the BONES of the disks.

    What would you suggest here?

    Thanks for any help

    Hello

Please provide an opportunity to help Microsoft Community.

If you do not remember the password, you can try to reset the password online. You can use Internet Explorer to reset the password for the Microsoft Account.

Open Internet Explorer on another computer, and then try to reset the Microsoft Account password by following the steps in the link below.

Forgotten password and other connection problems

As mentioned you use computer Vaio Duo which I checked comes pre-installed with Windows 8.

If the Windows operating system comes pre-installed on the laptop, then you will need to contact the manufacturer of the system for the installation media that allows you to update or reset the settings of the computer.

Of the manufacturer of the system provides a built in utility to repair the operating system which is known as system recovery partition, I ask you to contact you the Sony Support for more information on how to refresh/reset the settings of the computer.

Please visit the link provided below for support from Sony:

In addition, check the status of 'Caps Lock' and if you are using a laptop computer when there is a numeric keypad superimposed on the normal alphabetic keys, check if the numerical values are active (normally a depression Fn and F key).

  • I can only connect to Windows safe mode. I get a blank screen otherwise

Original title: I can only connect to my computer in safe mode. Start windows normally my screen begins to blink on the logon to the black screen. What should I do?

I was told it had something to do with internet explorer and that I need to update my windows, but my computer won't let me.

Safe mode is a number of things.  First, he starts using the clean boot programs needed to operate.  Second, he began to use a screen resolution 'safe' which is supported by all monitors (usually 640 x 480).  Your problem may be due to your video card being assigned to a resolution that your monitor does not support or does not reach.  If it is a recent development, the fastest solution may be to perform a system restore to a time before you had this problem.  You can do safe mode.

Another suggestion is that, after the safe boot mode, change the display resolution (right click Desktop-> properties-> settings tab).

If those who do not resolve your issue, you can use Microsoft System Configurator, msconfig, to choose what programs launch at startup.

  • I can't connect to Windows 8 by using the password.

Original title: could not connect to Windows 8

I tried to connect to my computer, but then he says 'this password is incorrect. Be sure that you are using the password for your Microsoft account". I checked carefully, and I don't know that I typed my password. This started to happen when my computer ran out of battery then I plugged in and could not connect later. I even reset my password but still no luck. This computer is new, so I don't know why it does this.

I had the same problem today. After a quick visit to my dealer where I bought my new acer E1-572, he explained that we have for the most part a password with letters and numbers.  On my acer, the NumLock is locked automatically.  This means that numbers are not added in your password.  Try to release the NumLock or by using the numbers in the second row on your laptop. Success!
