When I first tried to install CS5.5, it was fine until the complete step. It would not be complete unless I closed Safari and SafariHistory (whatever that is), but to my knowledge, the Safari is not running. He wouldn't let me move forward without leaving the program, so I finally decided to cancel the completion/installation and started during the installation. But the next time I tried to install it, he gave me the message that it could not initialize. I uninstalled CS5.5, but it's always me that is not the message. I downloaded a new Assistant Application. Do you have a complete uninstall and successfully (I have my fingers crossed on this one here) installed ID, HE and Psalm what are my daily bread and such that it is now, my last purchase of Adobe software.
It's pretty frustrating to face anything else than to impasses with support. Wow, how I envy the days of yore and the ease of the customer support with someone in Seattle or anywhere along the coast.

I downloaded Adobe photoshop cs 5, for trial, after download, it is not installing in my computer of OS - Windows 7 and the message is to give "Installer failed to initialize. File not found. Download Adobe support Advisor to check the problem
just uninstall cs5, clean a cleaning use of the CC tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6 then install.
Make sure your file is downloaded to your hard drive sizes are expected file sizes. If you don't know how, ask someone to do it for you.

If you are using a mac:
