I can't login using my administrator profile.

When I try to log on as an administrator, I get a message "the user profile service service has no logon.  "Unable to load the user ther profile. my computer seems to work fine when I connect with my standard user profile, but I can't, I can't perfom administrative tasks... Please help.
Oh and I guess that the second part of my question is: How does work?

Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

If the above does not work:

Difficulty of a corrupted user profile

After creating the profile, you can copy the files from the existing profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.

See you soon.

If you cannot connect to your admin account, no tutorials can help you because they need you to connect to an administrator account to carry out the instructions.

See if the following can get an admin account...

    Go to Safe Mode...

Restart your computer > immediately and repeatedly pressing the F8 key until you see a black and white screen. The top/down arrow and select Mode safe mode with networking.

Now, while in safe mode, you perform one of the following?

1 can connect to your account admin without the error message?
If so, do. Then do a system restore. Choose a date when you were free to login to your account admin as your restore point.

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

If the system restore does not slove the problem, then use this tutorial

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947215

    2. If you are unable to log in to your account administrator in safe mode, you see another administrator next to your account?
If so, you are lucky. This is the built-in Administrator account.
There is, by default, no password.
It could connect and do the system restore.

If the system restore is not enough, then perform the tutorial even as above:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947215

If you can't do or of what precedes, I'm afraid you will have to re - install your Vista.

  • Can I install Thunderbird to a new computer by using an existing profile folder?

Hello, my computer has been stolen, but I had done a backup of my Thunderbird profile. I have a new computer and want to know if I can install Thunderbird and use the same profile folder name that I have in my backup. I understand that if possible he would potentially avoid problems copy and paste files or specific folders. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You follow the instructions under the section of the article "create a new profile and copy that on it."
It just skip steps 1-3 and go to step 4.

You do nothing in the section "edit profiles.ini to point to the new location.

It is possible, but prone to failure.
You can not at the same time share a profile
The network speed is essential. Portable Thunderbird and a USB would be a better solution.

If you have seen that the users you listed: that's all nothing.  If your account was listed as an administrator, then it is what it is.  It does not change when you restart the system.  ;-)

Initially, you said that you have CHANGED your limited user account:

I changed my account from administrator to a limited account user, as I had 2 accounts of users, two administrator accounts.

Given that, you didn't have and still two active accounts.  If your account is displayed in Mode safe (when you connect as built-in administrator) as an administrative level account - it still is.

  • Corrupt Windows 2012 R2 Administrator profile

    Hi all

I logged on my current server to run Windows 2012 r2 level one day and a new profile of the administrator is created.

C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop, I see clearly my original files, but the current Administrator profile is directed to C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Desktop

    I tried:

    (1) deletion and recreation of the account administrator profile using another account has administrator (System Settings Advanced-> advanced-> user profile tab) rights.

    (2) to make scanning of virus/malware

    (3) Regedit to change the value or values of ProfileList (https://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215?wa=wsignin1.0)

Nothing can make me "point back" to the original Administrator profile I want to have. Whenever I log into admin account, it just go directly to C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile to load the profile.

The main problem is that I can't use desktop connection remote, which is crucial for my operations. The error dialog box pops up just indicating that Remote Desktop cannot be connected. I did a check and my ddns account works fine.

Please do not asked to re - format or system restore. I had reasons not to do so.
