I can't start my subscription to PS CS5.1?
I use Mac Lion, first time using the subscription.
"We had failed to start your subscription to Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 Extended Subscription Edition"
I understand that these are the steps for windows...
The following procedure should allow you to solve your problems:
- Locate the hosts file.
- Click Start, run, type "% systemroot % \system32\drivers\etc", and then click OK.
- Right click on the file and select open. Select the application Notepad open the hosts file.
- Save a backup of the file. Choose file > save as name the file hosts.backup, and then click OK.
- Find 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com and delete this entry.
- Save the file and close it.
Help please.
Here are the steps for Mac OS:
- Open a Finder window. Choose go > go to folder.
- Type "/ etc" (make sure that you are signed in as an administrator).
- Select the hosts file and open it.
- Find all entries that refer to activate.adobe.com and remove them. For example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com and delete this entry.
- Save the file and close it.

It would be preferable that you contact customer service to see how you can transfer membership or get a refund adjusted for months unused so that you can cancel and start a new membership. I had to do something similar and this is what worked for me.

Can someone cancel my subscription? I followed all the instructions and chatted with customer support. My subscription is renewed automatically on 27 May. The customer support has tried twice to make me renew by giving one, then two months free but I can't renew. Subscriptions are managed through the application manager / LTCC. Log on to creative.adobe.com, download the application, install the product you paid for based on your credentials, i.e. your Adobe ID.

I know that I am allowed to have on both computers, but I like to keep my second install for later use instead of having it on my old computer that failed and go has the size. Before you uninstall the creative applications cloud deactivation is required. To disable the subscription, you can launch any product (photoshop, dreamweaver, etc.)
go to help menu and you will find the option disable. This will disable the entire subscription and you don't need to do it for all products.
After you cancel the subscription, you can uninstall the products one by one.
You can then go to the new machine and connect to www.creative.adobe.com, connection, and then start downloading the products.
