I can't turn on the WiFi, can someone send me firmware module or XPRT wi - fi?

When I turn the wi - fi, it became the 'error' message in the phone.

I tried several times to factory reset, but it was the same result.

I'm in the Japan, so I don't have to consult the shop in this country.

The system of this phone version: version.4.1.110.MB612.Sprint.enUS

    Hello
You said, did you check if the device is properly installed in Device Manager. Is there a red X on the wlan module in the list? And he must have this name: RTL8187B.

There are several ways to enable the wlan on your laptop. One, is the hardware switch of your laptop, the other thing you can try is a combination of FN to FN + F8.
You can control if the WiFi is working when you see the symbol of the LED is on or not.

    Hello

Have you installed the driver WLan?
The laptop seems to be equipped with the Atheros AR9285 WiFi card and in most cases the Fn + F8 key does not work because the Wlan driver is not installed or is not working properly.

Recommend first of all remove the network card wireless from Device Manager, then restart the laptop. After restarting again install the new driver Atheros Wlan downloaded for this wlan card.

Here you can find all the drivers Wlan published by Toshiba:

  • X 301 Vista Sp1 64-bit WiFi Driver 5300 AGN: it is not possible to turn on the WiFi radio

I have a X 301 S/N xx-xxxxx computer laptop installed with Vista Business Professional 64 - bit SP1. A few days ago, I updated the drivers via ThinkVantage "Update my system" tool, including the WiFi pilot. Now I have the Intel(r) WiFi Link 5300 AGN driver 13.2.0.30 version. After installing this driver WiFI Radio does not work: it is not possible to turn on the WiFi radio.

Program has been installed during this update Intel PROSet/Wireless tools. In the menu to diagnose the hardware test fails for this device, claiming that the wireless adapter is disabled or uninstalled. However, if I look at the control panel-> device-> ECS Manager-> Intel(r) WiFi Link 5300 AGN-> (right click) properties-> tab driver, then I see that the device is turned on.

I should add that the original driver worked perfectly and now it is very annoying that I can't use WiFi at all. Please, give me help how to solve this problem. I tried to visit the pages of Lenovo Support & downloads and download other X 301 Vista 64-bit driver, but the system tells me that I have the latest version of the driver and the driver has not been installed. Anyway, I don't know what the right solution or the pilot, so please help me. I am very frustrated because I downloaded everthing officially using the given by Lenovo ThinkVantage tool. I thought that these drivers offered by this tool have been tested.

It has been reported several times before for more users to BrightHand.com.  It seems to be a failure of the Wifi card.

Most of them solved the problem by installing a new Wifi card in their units:

  • My internet connection is lost at home after a few minutes. I re - turn on the wifi disabled, ten and it works again for a few minutes and then repeats. It works fine everywhere else?

My internet connection is lost at home after a few minutes. I stop the wifi, then turn it back on and it works again for a few minutes and then repeats. It works fine everywhere else?

Please see recommended settings of WiFi routers and access Apple points.

Despite these recommendations, some routers will work better with the latest Mac models if you turn the radio 2.4 GHz mode in settings and only use the 5 GHz. Note, however, that very old devices Apple and some third-party devices can then not connect at all.

Some third party routers have advanced that you may need to change the settings:

The encryption algorithm must be AES.

The group key interval must be 3200.

I can't give you specific instructions on how to change these settings, because all routers are different. Refer to the documentation for the provider.

  • Satellite U920T - need help to turn on the WiFi

    Hello!

My OS is Windows 8.1 x 64 with all updates.
There is a challenge with wireless which started after I put in place a flight on charm bar Mode and back fired.

When I disabled the flight Mode, the switch wireless of charm bar is remained handicapped as shown on the screenshot (sorry, all the screenshots are in Russian, but if something is not clear I'm ready to explain)

The adapter in Device Manager is Normal

It is the latest version of the driver installed
    http://bit.LY/1Itn4NO
The Windows Network Diagnostics Wizard detects that the wireless is turned off.

When I try to enable wireless using the utility of the farm, he pointed out that I should turn the WiFi hardware button
    http://bit.LY/1ItncNd
But my laptop is not any material for the WiFi button. Only hokey, but it comes to establish a flight Mode.

    Need your help.

    Sincerely,
    Vadim

Guess, what, I think that there is a problem between the driver and the system and consequently the system reports that the WiFi network is DISABLED.

I recommend you to uninstall the Intel Wlan Device Manager driver.
Then, you must restart the laptop.
Please perform a complete shutdown (no hybrid closed, standby, etc.)

After the new reboot, install the Wlan driver and reboot once more.
It would be really interesting to know if you can activate the WLan after this short driver installation procedure.

  • HP Probook 645 G1: Turn off the wifi when it is connected to the wire

    Hello

    I have a HP 645 Probook G1 A4 - 4300 M / 4 GB / 500 GB SSD/DVDRW/14 "HD/W7P 64B latptop.

    I also have a model Dockingstation REPLACEMENT-I10X.

I have attached an ethernet cable on the docking station that works. My problem is that when I connect my laptop to the docking station. Get a priority above wired wireless. If the laptop still uses wireless unless I turn it off manually.

Ofource I want to log out manually. I want the phone choose wired when wired and wireless when wireless.

    I tried a couple things:

    1. I went setings adapter--> advance--> Advance settings--> moved the connection to the lan network to a network connection wireless, top of page bottem. it did not work

    2. I manual put several metrics in connection properties (internet protocol 4 & 6--> Properties--> Advanced--> change automatic metric to manual and filled a small number to wired connection (No. 5) and filled a higher number (No. 250) to the Wi - Fi connection.) it did not work

    3. looked in the bios menu. There is no option to change the priority or something like that.

Now, I always disconnect the wifi when I'm attached to the docking station (even tried plugging an ethernet straight cable to the laptop, but that has not helped either). Problem is when I unlock the laptop from the docking station, I have to manually reconnect to the wireless network.

Additional info: since my laptop is always closed when it is locked on the docking station, I cannont press the WIRELESS button to disconnect or connect.

Any suggestions help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello:

See if the BIOS of your laptop computer has a LAN/WLAN, commissioning.

On my HP Elitebook 6930p it is a parameter to enable the LAN/WLAN switch that automatically turns off the wireless card when an ethernet cable is connected, and vice versa.

    Laughing out loud
the CanStartAndStopInterfaces function in https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/qnetworkconfigurationmanager.html is not defined, so you are not allowed to start or stop interfaces.

  • Can someone send me the VMkbd.sys file?

    Hello everyone,

I had problems with VMware Player v4 upgrade and only as a last resort, I had to do a manual uninstall to version 3.1.4. Unfortunately for me, I deleted by mistake the VMkbd.sys driver and now my machine works just fine but will not accept any keyboard input. Currently locked by the login screen Windows original (no keyboard, no password) and the local firewall is blocking the RDP, I would try to restore this file before reinstalling Windows.

Can someone please be so kind and tell me how to get a copy of the file v3.1.4 VMkbd.sys VMware Player for Windows XP 32-bit?

Thank you all for your help.

try to extract the vmplayer - setup.exe

start the installation with the parameter /e tempdir download

You can find the file in tempdir then
