I constantly get a pop up from microsoft corp.

It's pop up to Microsoft Corp., eager to install a program. No matter what I click on, leave do not allow or do not show this again it appears every 4 to 5 minutes. How can I stop this annoying pop up. I have a pop up blocker installed. the name of the program that is tring to install is CSC - exe. I have tried everything I know of to get rid of it but it comes right back. I did a system restore to an earlier time before it started coming but didn't stop him. I asked my provider of virus at a distance, we did it, but he said I should ask microsoft to do. That's why I'm here.  Any suggestions? makes me crazy.

Hey dummy pc

What Anti Virus is installed in your system? This file is not a virus but a Microsoft popup. This occurs when you open Internet Explorer or randomly on the computer?

Try this to get rid of this popup message:

Step 1: Perform a clean boot and see if the problem persists.

Step 2: Also open (Alt + Ctrl + Del) Task Manager and check which program is being installed.

Step 3: Run Internet Explorer mode modules no. and also Optimize Internet Explorer and check.

Step 4: Online a scanner to your PC for malware:

If you want to scan your computer for malware and potentially unwanted on a Web site, please use the Windows Live OneCare safety scanner.

You can also run Anti-Malware on your computer.

What anti-virus program do you use?  If you do not, or if it is outdated, because you have not paid for a subscription, I would suggest you uninstall and install Microsoft Security Essentials free instead.  It updates everyday, but never requires a subscription or payment, and it's free.

I suggest you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software. The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software. http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Phone call dubious on problems on my computer, allegedly of Microsoft Corp.

Today, I received a phone call from a person who claims to work for Microsoft.  They reported that control of my computer showed errors or multiple infections.  They offered to help me solve this problem.  They gave me several instructions involving open computer management and by looking at the log files.  They then asked me to open the website showmypc.com and run the software on this site.   Subsequently, they asked permission to take control of my computer so that problems could be fixed.  At this point, I refused and ended the phone call.

Did this phone call actually come from Microsoft Corp.?  Is this some kind of scam?

    Hello

    It's a scam.

We all errors and warnings in Event Viewer, etc.

Either these so-called "Microsoft" Tech companies want to sell you a worthless software, or remote access to your computer to try to steal your credit card and bank information and also achieve an identity theft on you.

You are the only person who knows if you gave them remote access.

If you had given them remote access and if you do banking over the Internet, here is the advice that we give:

Contact your bank, explain, and change passwords.

If you use your online credit card, cancel and get a new one issued to you.

And the only way you will know that you are free to them is to backup your data and do a clean install of your operating system.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

And Microsoft does not contact you unless YOU have made prior arrangements with them to do.

There is an article in the link I'm you provide at the end of this one

    Read this Information from Microsoft:

  • Is it possible to get a Certificate from Microsoft or official recognition from Microsoft for my software?

Hi all, I'm Lee. It's nice to meet all of you here.

I have a question that I actually have to ask here since I can't really find an answer Google search or in this forum.

Here's the situation, my business has intensive software that is developed with Microsoft Visual Studio and coded with Visual Basic.NET. He works alongside the databases from Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio as well. All this time, that this software is published and provided to clients, we do not have a recognition of Microsoft or certification on this software.

So here's the question: is it possible to ask for an official certification or recognition from Microsoft for this software?

I have this software recognized by Microsoft to create a recognition wider and easier for potential customers to my business. Although my company offers, and sell this software for many years already, it seems to us that we have this software officially recognized by Microsoft in order to obtain the trust of potential customers.

So far, I discovered this inscription as an application developer is as close as one but y at - he developed a guide to get there?

Thanks for anyone who can guide me from here.

    Thank you

    Lee

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)
