I don't know how to do something with layers/gradients

I have an image I want to disappear from one side to the other which I can do with a layer mask.  So my layers palette looks like this:

I also have the opacity as the degraded also.  So the image fades from left to right, but also of opacity-opacity-lower left top right.

I can't see how to do it!

No need for this white layer. Simply add a Hue Saturation, Saturation adjustment layer cranked down, and design all the way to the top and put your goalie mask for this:

  • SUDDEN question MS Windows Mail Security. I don't know how many years counts with Bellsouth / AT & T.

    Cannot Log on to ATT email account. Keeks pop-up Windows security request my username and password.  Using my correct email address and the right password in the pop-up window will allow only connect to ATT once in every 30 to 50 attempts.  The error message in the task of Windows Mail window is the following:

    Account: 'name', server: 'mail.bellsouth.net', Protocol: POP3, server response: '-ERR [AUTH] invalid user/password (error 999)', Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC92

    AT & T blaims software Windows Mail bug because I can log - on to their service of webmail with no problems.  I have two 'alias' hung on the main email account, but they are not affected by this problem.  I can still access these messages through Windows Mail.

    Search for program 3rd party interference.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 try to remove the att account and then close WinMail.  Then compact and repair the database by using my Windows Mail utility (www.oehelp.com/WMUTil/). Then go back to WinMail and add your account att back once again and make sure you get the user name and password the first time (if you haven't, then it does not stick).  See if that fixes things.  It could also be the ATT servers are somewhat sporadic, but if the web interface for the account works fine, then WinMail should work too.

    Go to start / Control Panel / folder Options / view and check the box to show the hidden files and folders and uncheck to hide extensions of known file types.  Only the first is required for this problem, but the other may be useful later and you might as well do it while you're already here.

    Now, you will be able to see the folder.  It will be in the same place, it has always been (it has not been assigned) - it was just hidden and now that you can see hidden files and folders you can see again.  You may notice that it deteriorated a little bit lighter that other records - it is a sign that it is a hidden file or folder.

    • Go to the iTunes under the "Music" setting store
    • Click on the link 'Buy' on the right side.

    Check with support of the manufacturer of the system (motherboard for customized systems manufacturer) if the video device
    is integrated on the motherboard. Also check with Nvidia Support, their drivers and documentation online

    I just installed a new Windows 7 but I don't know how to change the size and quality of the text on the screen.  I tried all the things normal, resolution, size of icons, dpi etc but nothing gives me what I want.  The text in clear 'wonderful' thing is just terrible.  When I go through the 4 steps I see no text boxes which make the text nothing better.  All options are terrible, so the result on screen is too terrible.  When I do any huge I do not get a full screen of things - view the Start button disappears or I did not closing small cross at the top - of the suggestions to inprove the situation?  I must mention that my screen/monitor is 2006 - I need to buy a new one?  How much is this Windows 7 is going to cost me, or maybe I should go back to XP!

    I sincerely thank all you smart "technicians" for all the answers you always gave myself and all others who ask questions.  I'm not too smart with all this new technology as I fell into it very late.  I am now in my 60s and only started using a pc when I was over 50 years so...  In any case, I asked a question about the size of screen resolution and text and received much good advice from all that you guys.  I had recently changed in XP to Windows 7.  However, the bit of advice that I was given in 'Cyberking' here at the Portugal had set the resolution of the screen, the advanced settings, 75 to 60 Hertz Monitor tab.  Very basic, and the first question asked the technician (Lady) was "what size is your screen?  Naturally as a smaller screen that any 'techno' would be considered dead aid, solving the problem was simple and straightforward without me having to stretch my knowledge and my skills by downloading all programes weird (to me) or do the funny stuff in the bios or something else.  I send this comment to you for you to realize that the simple solution is not always bad and maybe we should go for the easiest first and then work up to the more difficult ones.

    Just for you all to see - now my screen resolution is perfect, the text on the screen is clear and legible without difficulty, even though the size of text and icon is small.  Clarity is all!

    Hello patita12, it sounds like you have accidentally enabled full screen - you can press f11 to leave again.

    Hi Muzzik, the idea is to use the integrated update in "About Firefox" dialog box. Here's how to find it:

    Firefox on Windows can have two different menus. One you have?

    • "Firefox" button in the upper left corner with a small triangle pointing downwards and an orange background (purple in a private window)
    • classic menu bar (File, Edit, View...)

    If you have the orange Firefox button, click on that and are looking for help on the right side, expand the menu and click on Firefox.

    If you have the classic menu bar, use the help to the rightmost menu and click on Firefox.

    Thank you for reaching out to the communities of Apple. I definitely want to have my Apple music in correct language so I want to know what I'm listening. You want to first try to reboot your device and to force the closure of the music app. If those who do not resolve the problem, you can try a few resets. If you do not already have a backup, please make a backup of all your data in iTunes or iCloud.

    Next, we want to reset all settings.

    Reset all settings: tap Settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This resets all settings including the Wi - Fi networks and passwords, cell settings, VPN and the parameters that you used before APN, Touch ID and a password, any installation of cards in Apple pay and removes the restrictions. This removes all personal data, such as music or photos.

    If the problem is still not resolved, you can try to restore the backup that was made before you, French language change initially.

    Finally, you can erase content and settings on your device and put in place nine. Be aware, this option will be everything, including music and pictures, delete and configure the device as if it was brand new.

    Absolutely impossible to happen accidentally. Someone else is using your computer. Remove you Firefox like any other program via Control Panel > programs and features (in Windows 7).

    I hope that you do not have another browser - Internet Explorer does not appear in the details of your system.
