  Many sites now use downloadable fonts to create their icons instead of the traditional image files. So, there are some Firefox settings that might be a factor, as well as the NoScript extension, if you use this (blocked objects).

  (1) in the dialog box fonts Advanced, unchecking the checkbox which allows the site to use its own choice of fonts. To check that:

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > content > button "Advanced".

  Here you must "allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  (2) on the deactivation of fonts downloaded in: config. It's less likely, or you remember probably not, but here's how to check on it.

  • In a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.
  • In the search box at the top of the list, type or paste the gfx and make a pause so that the list is filtered
  • If gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled preference is bold and user, set false, double-click it to return it true.

  This seems useful.

• Some Web sites do not display the fonts in firefox.

  For a while through a number of updates, I see that on some Web sites, rolling stone and cnbc are two example. If I go to the fonts in my computer and click on restore default settings for fonts, it solved that temporarily the problem. If I go to the settings and disable Web sites use their own fonts, it solves but fonts do not appear as sites intend to make them appear. This does not happen in other browsers, firefox only.   I worry that too. Mozilla Announces generally well in advance (at least three months) when previous versions are no longer eligible for support. At the moment, although v3.5.18 is still supported and published much earlier than v3.6.16

  The point of Nancy does very well, is that from the server, the web page cannot find a file whose path begins by file:///C|/Users/tdavis/Documents/... because your C drive do not EXIST on THE SERVER.

  You MUST correct these references in your code so that they actually point to the file in a relevant folder root path.

  When you have not defined a site again, (as requested) DW will use an 'absolute' path to the file that includes the drive and the folder names in the path. Once the site is defined these must change to show only the location of the root folder, but this does not always happen. If you don't check and change these stray file path references before you put the files on the server, the Web page will not be able to reference what he should look and work properly.

  That is mind-boggling stupid, because it's rare that you have to copy the file into any computer, it is less always installed off the coast of externally, and many people in the company are pushing on the network and the management of the suites so there is a serious problem in Adobe package manager if this is the case where it cannot manage the Middle installed offshore.
