Original title: Help, I got the blue screen of death!
Can someone help me please? Whenever I turn on my computer, it goes to the BSOD. I tried the last settings that worked, but he went to the BSOD too! In addition, safe mode it won't work goes to the BSOD as well. Nothing works. I have to go to a computer store to fix it, or is - it possible to fix it at home? Please help immediately!
The BSOD I get says:A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: disable or uninstall all utility defragmentation or anti-virus disk backup,. Check the configuration of your hard drive and check the updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /f to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer. I suggest you run the check disk (chkdsk) of the Recovery Console & check if you are able to boot to the desktop correctly.
Step 1: To start the Recovery Console, you can follow this link.
To start the computer and use the Recovery Console
Step 2: At the Recovery Console prompt, type the following command and then press ENTER:
CHKDSK [/ p]: [/ r]
Note: At first, try to run chkdsk/p & check if it helps. Later, you can run chkdsk/r.

It is a precautionary measure before the step follows because things happens. ;-)
Then do a repair installation.

If the repair installation does not work, test the equipment to ensure that none have been damaged during the blackout and then do a clean install of Windows.

I had trouble with the fans so I unplugged everything, pulled out the memory and put it in. Shortly after received warning on a stop. I've updated the bios and things worked fine for one night. The following day I uninstaaled some programs and blue rebooted and got the screen again. I can right through the blue screen and sign, but have to stop with button / stop.
Hello
What is the exact error message on blue screen?
This error message can point to a hardware or software that causes this problem. If the computer restarts after the Blue error screen, disable the automatic system failure restart option allows to capture the error message on blue screen.

I got the blue screen watching a youtube video (more than 1,080 p)!
I got the blue scren just at the moment where I put the original video, can someane tell why? http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=kmrlkPLnDpU
Follow the suggestions here to solve this BSOD error (it applies to these two videos (Intel and Radeon): http://www.sysnative.com/forums/bsod-kernel-dump-analysis-debugging-information/35-video-tdr-timeout-0x116-0x117.html#post29532 )
If you use more than an antivirus or a firewall, please stop and use only one of each. They can collide with each other and cause problems of competition with each other.
Please update these drivers. Links are included to help search for the source of the drivers. If it is impossible to find a update, please remove (uninstall) the program responsible for this driver. NOT manually delete/rename the driver since it can make the system unbootable. :

Comments on new MBP XP got the blue screen of death at startup.
I get a blue screen of death when I copied and then started a guest Windows XP on my second MacBook Pro. I've used this comments XP on my old MBP for a year without problems. The two Mbps run VMWare Fusion 3.
During startup, I got the message "features supported by the processor (s) in this machine are distinguished by the features supported by the processors of the machine on which the snapshot has been registered."
Here are the details.
1. I made a judgment of my guest XP on my old MBP
2. I then copied the folder of the Virtual Machine - Open /Users/ - I chose the stermaster2_1VM.vmx -.
2. has asked if the machine has been copied or move - I chose copied.
3 merger then threw "features supported by the processor (s) in this machine are distinguished by the features supported by the processors of the machine on which the snapshot has been registered." -I chose Yes
4 merger threw "cannot connect virtual peripheral Serial0 because no corresponding device is available on the host. You want to try to connect this virtual device whenever you turn on the virtual machine? "- I chose YES
5 merger: "Virtual device Serial0 start disconnected." - I pressed OK
6 merger: "Cannot connect virtual peripheral serial0 because no corresponding device is available on the host." - I chose Yes
7 merger 'VMware Fusion is unable to provide all the graphics features expected by this machine virtual.' - I pressed OK
Then a blue screen of death
I was wondering if you see anything wrong with what I did above.
Thank you
Bernie

Four days ago, I installed an xp update and got the blue screen
When I turn the computer on a black screen comes and tells me that an error has occurred and asks me if I want to start in safe mode or my previous settings, when I click on safe mode it freezes and when I click on previous settings, flashes a blue screen and the computer restarts. I've heard to solve a similar problem with the xp CD and I do not. If that person cannot find a windows solution better get another CD.

Insurmountable boot disk
The safest option is to remove the drive from the computer, mount it in a USB caddy and plug it into another computer to see if it can be read.
This involves absolutely no changes on disk and therefore has the greatest opportunity to recover the files intact. Although you can try to boot from a Windows DVD and run a repair when it comes to something like the photos that are by definition irreplaceable, I would always look a 1 passive recovery.
You can then go to active repair knowing that essential equipment is secure.

I don't know when the downloaded update, the computer has been restarted on September 10, 2010 to install updates. Shortlyl once the computer is restarted, I got the blue screen of death. with the details of error like:
Stop 0 x 000000050 (0 x 000000000000000, 0xFFFFF88001DCAE4, 0xFFFFF8A00B490027, 0 x 00000000000002) do not know if the number of zeros is exactly right in one of those, but it's super frustrating.
I tried to restart my computer in repair as recommended (get blue screen of death), I tried to reboot normally, loop just restart procedures asking if I want to restart in repair mode. I tried SafeMode (BSOD), I tried to restart with last working restart (restart loops), I tried to choose the "Computer repair" BSOD I tried a diagnosis and all past.
Help!
Thank you.
So yes actually hear nothing helped me. Seems that, given that the computer is not stopped correctly and my hard drive was not recognized there starting the cycle upward or give me the BSOD. Put it in my Ubuntu CD spare which I've had since my last PC hard drive became corrupt and force back across my hard drive. After doing this, I was able to do a boot repair, who led for the BSOD. Not sure how that actually fixed, lost about 10 hours of my day. So I guess I can chalk up to Microsoft and a reminder on why I should buy Mac for now on... an update shouldn't really cause such problems.
I get that not everyone has the same PC, so it is difficult to tell if an update is bad, but he should not do this and if an update is the cause of a certain segment of consumers who are updating must be taken down for everyone, or at least the users with the configuration that is known to have problems with an update.
Problem is solved, had to go back to a previous version of good boot where I have not install updates again. Now, I'm trying to understand who was was bad, so I can leave my computer knows to ignore.
Nice day.
Just in case someone needs to know how to use Ubuntu to back up files on their PC that does not load windows, please see the link below:

The blue screen of start - stop unknown codes errors
I use windows XP service Pack 3. I changed my diet over yesterday with a few errors when trying to start finally started. subsequently had some problems with a freeze up. tried to restart and got the blue screen of death with errors. re installed powersupply old got it up and running again. It tried to boot the pc and blue screen errors again. Put the new power supply in eide cable changed on hard drive. Booted fine ran a few hours and blue screen again. The warning is a windows subsystem process is completed with status 0xc0000005, 0x7e7213ca, and 0x006af5d8. any help would be great thanks Steve
Error code 0 x 0000005 usually indicates some sort of a permissions problem. I have no idea how this would bind to a socket well!
If it works sometimes, if you play inside, do you think you may have a poor connection or loose somewhere? Are you able to just unlug and reconnect / reinstall everything will be cancelled (without using too much force)? Just do one thing at a time, so you don't mix... Unplug it, plug it back, unplug the next thing, plug it back, etc. You reinstall RAM and video card if you have one in a crack - out them one at a time, put them immediately from whence they came.
Here's how to start debugging of a BSOD.
Please provide additional information on your system:What is your system brand and model? What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work? You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?Your system seems to start OK and then crash or didn't he start not at all?
If your system works fine, what do you think might have changed since the last time it worked correctly? Can you make the system crash when you want? For example, you would say that there is no specific system activity that coincides with the accidents (like watching videos, playing games, etc.).The next time your system crashes, provide more information on what you see. Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters. If there is a name of the file listed in the STOP message, don't forget to include this information too.Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you. We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like. Now provide more information about your system and data against more recent accidents.Click Start, run and enter in the box:Msinfo32Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the information here. For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here. There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information. This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.Download BlueScreenView here:Unzip it and run it (BSV installs nothing) and let him complete the digitization of all your crash dump files. If you double-click on depressed, you will get information on it (including the field caused by the driver) and you should be able to spot the problem right away - especially if you see a model in landfills where Caused by field pilot is the same (beginning with this driver).BlueScreenView tries to find the right driver or module that caused the blue screen by looking inside the stack of the accident. However, be aware that the driver detection mechanism is not 100% reliable, and you should also look in the lower pane, that display all drivers/modules found in the stack.Select (highlight) one or more of the most recent dump files by clicking on them and hold down the CTRL key to select multiple files. Try to select only the most recent links that relate to your problem (perhaps five or six to start dump files).Click on file, save selected items and save information from the dumps to a text file on your desktop called BSOD.txt.Open BSOD.txt with a text editor Notepad, WordPad, etc.), select all (Ctrl-A), copy all the text in the Windows Clipboard (Ctrl-C) and paste the text to the Clipboard (Ctrl-V) back here in your next reply.
