I had to reinstall Acrobat - but now I can't open a pdf file
If I click on a pdf file after a google search, instead of opening the file, I redirected to a folder "save under".
Something must happen for the re - install.
Hi doncalarco
What browser do you use?
The problem occurs because eith that your PDF Viewer Plug-in has been disabled or you have not installed Adobe Reader/Acrobat on your computer.
To activate the Plugin PDF, please go to google and check how to activate the plugin, because there are different steps to do for different browsers.

I have the version of Lightroom 6 buy. I uninstalled and reinstalled. But now I can't update. Need me always to Adobe Creative cloud, which I did not. How can I do?
At some point in the past (I don't know the exact date) Adobe "merged" the original update manager in cloud Update Manager, which means that you no longer use your original update manager
I read a lot of posts that the updater latetest (cloud) sometimes does not work with old programs... Try to install your updates manually
Beginning of the updates here and product selection, read to see if you need to install updates in the order of the numbers, or if updates are cumulative for the product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

I paid for Adobe acrobat pro, but now I can not convert a PDF to word format, why?
I paid for Adobe acrobat pro for a year and it is valid until November 2015, but now I can not convert a PDF to word format, why?
Hi m_karhulinna,
If you have Acrobat Pro, you can record directly to Word from Acrobat format by choosing File > save as other > Microsoft Word > Word Document.
(Looks like you can try to use the online service ExportPDF, which is separated from Acrobat and not necessary in your case.)
Best,
Sara

Hi, I can't open the PDF files. I recently downloaded a sample of Adobe Pro, but that has now expired and my PC wants an entry code to allow me to open the adobe files.
I do not wish to buy Adobe Pro as it is too expensive.
Please help, not being able to open PDF files starts to hurt my business.
Thank you
If all you want to do is to open PDF files, you can download Adobe Reader from http://get.adobe.com/reader/

* Original title: attachments
Help, please.
I did something wrong (AGAIN!)
I had no problem with access to attachments to my e-mails, but a problem occurred just.
I can longer open attached pdf files. I am able to preview the files, but they are too small for me to read. When I click to open all the I get now is a kind of icon (in Microsoft Office Picture Manager) with which I can't do anything.
It seems I should have arranged for Picture Manager automatically opens attachments to emails, but when this happens, I'm stuck as what I try, I can't do pdf files appear as they did.
The help file does not really help.
I hope it is something simple, even an old fool like me can do with your expert (and, I hope. friendly) help.
My fingers are crossed.
My apologies if I offended Protocol - this is my first venture.regards
Octogenarian John
PS My usual guru (aka grandson James) has acquired his first girlfriend, is not so disinclined to waste time me tutoring on the PC
Create a file association.
1. download and save the attachment to the office.
2. right click on the saved file.
3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
4. click on: choose [default] program.
5. Select: (Whatever you have installed a PDF reader).
6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
7. click on OK.This should allow you to open these attachments directly from email address now.

How to bring back just by clicking on a pdf document and have it open. My XI trial ended and now I can't open any pdf docs.
The trial has ended, but you still have the software. This is on the assumption that you will want to purchase. If you do not, then uninstall it
usual how for Windows
* run the uninstaller for Mac application (no not just trash)
You will then repair or reinstall Adobe Reader, and you will be back to how you were.

Acrobat Reader DC works fine and opens a PDF file without problem - until I have a word document open as well-, then the PDF file crashes. I can't open a PDF file, a word document is also open.
For troubleshooting, you can disable the Protected Mode (https://helpx.adobe.com/reader/using/protected-mode-windows.html#id_94783) and see if that solves the problem. If the problem persists, please re-enable the Protected Mode to improve safety.
Let us know how it goes.

Updated Adobe Acrobat &; now I can't view a PDF file
Monday night, I updated Adobe Acrobat.
On Tuesday, I found I couldn't read or create PDFs. I get an error message that says:
"Check with the developer to make sure that Acrobat Pro works with this version of Mac OS x. reinstall". "
I use a Mac Book pro with Lion 10.7.5
So I reinstalled Acrobat and still have the same problem!
Any tips?
I can't see another thread on this particular issue but ignore me if it already exists.
Thank you
Fiona
I seem to be the only person having this problem, but just in case anyone has the same problem Adobe Chat support me:
-Open Finder
-Click on Go
-In the type of research/library + click on enter
-Click application support > Adobe
-Remove all acrobat files
-Go to folder repeat
-Search ~/library + click on enter
-now repeat to Go go
Research/Library
-Click on Preferences > delete all files that are labeled as com.adobe.acrobat
Then reinstall Adobe Acrobat
Then try to open a PDF file
I did find the same error message!
So I had to uninstall the Acrobat file I had loaded just that is, repeat the above steps
The next support solution has given was to go to the preferences of the user on the Mac and create a new name for the admin for example test acrobat - not enter any password, although then I lock the padlock.
Reset
Sign up under the new name of the admin
Search for a PDF file
A test to see if they would open
And even once, I get the same stupid error message!
So I am now really tired.
Did anyone had this problem & it is resolved? There are of course some conflicts with the recent update and the Lion and the file does not work correctly.
