I had to run my restore cd. has been informed that my files could be saved in "old windows" now how do the old windows?
my pc had lost script and a couple of pilots. When I put the recovery CD, a box poped by saying that it would save my files of OLD Windows. My problem is, how to find OLD Windows?

I had some problems with my computer recently I knew could be solved with the system restore. Then I went into system restore and went to a restore point that was a few weeks back. After I clicked on it and pressing the ok button, the following message appeared: "the changes made to the G: drive after this point cannot be reversed, because the drive has been either excluded from monitoring system restore or has been disabled or deleted.» I let it continue and do the restore. My computer has rebooted and came up with an error in system restore that says restore failed. It's the same thing with other restore points. I don't know why I get this error because I not made any changes to this hard drive except for copy of a document word on him. I thought that the System Restore monitors removable disks. Anyone know what is happening here and how I can get the restoration of the system to operate without the mistakes to come?
I have Norton. Disable the Tamper Protection works. I also noticed that since the G: drive was a portable hard drive, System Restore wanted to exercise oversight. He wants to monitor all hard drives. Turn on external and portable hard disks prevents tracking system restore changes to the readers. I don't think anyone would have the system restore review external drives anyway. It is not necessary.

I can't find my serial number for Photoshop Elements version 8. It came with a HP computer I bought in 2010. I recently had to do a recovery, it has been uninstalled. I moved since then and don't know how to get the serial number.

James, if it came with the machine and you are not registered, then you can't get it from the dealer where you purchased the machine. PSE 8 is now end of life and we have limited resources for the same thing, make sure you check the system requirements | Adobe Photoshop Elements if you try to install it on a new machine.
If you want to upgrade to the latest version, you can check: photo editor, change the images. Adobe Photoshop Elements 13

You need to set the drive letter to the USB Ports front before any device has been inserted - that won't change when the device is connected. I have Windows XP Professional with Visual Studio 6 installed. Thanks for your help

First of all, make sure that you're connected Administrators account to do.
How to change a drive letter to change an existing drive letter on a drive, on a partition, or a volume, follow these steps:
- Sign in as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
- Click Start , click run and type compmgmt.msc .
- In the left pane, and then click disk management .
- Right click on the drive, the partition, the logical drive or volume that you want to assign a drive letter to and then click change drive letter and paths .
- Click change .
- Click assign the following drive letter if it is not already selected, click the drive letter that you want to use, and then click OK .
- Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the drive letter change.
The letter of the drive, partition, or volume that you specified is changed, and the new drive letter is displayed in the appropriate drive, partition, or volume in the disk management tool.

I have Dreamweaver 2014.1.1 build 6982
My computer is an iMac running Yosemite 10.10.3
Whenever a file is opened, I get the following error message:
"The following translators were not loaded due to errors: ASP.htm: has configuration information that is invalid.".
generally to close this error I have to click on the button OK 3 times
Further discussion I tried to rename the configuration file. This only prevented the application to load completely, so the name was changed back.
This has been resolved.

By default, your iTunes library is stored in:

My iCloud and shared calendars has stopped working in MS Outlook today. They worked yesterday. Now, I get the error message "cannot open this series of records. The information store cannot be opened? I tried the fix standard support.
Same thing here. Looks like Windows did an automatic update during the night, and now nothing iCloud associated work (calendars, contacts, etc.)
I also noticed that the error message: "could not load file or Assembly ' MOM." Implementation ' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the specified file. "It started after restarting the Windows Update as well. I imagine that the two are related in the same problem to iCloud.

Old computer has been wiped clean before CS6 could be disabled. New computer / CS6 requires the number of series/activation code that I haven't recorded.
How should I proceed?
Sign in to your Adobe account online and see if your serial number is available via the my products. If you regstered your software, then it should be available here.
Your only hope beyond that would be to contact the Adobe Support via chat and see if they can help you. Ask them also to reset your activations so that lost installation is essentially disabled.

I could see the State of extracts, data pumps and replicates as running. In the machine 1, I 2 extracts & datapumps of 2 data running in the machine 2, I 2 replicates are running.
When I do the ext lhrdev1 stats he showed the no. of records inserted, updated, deleted while that for the same snippet of lhrdev1 nothing displayed when I do rhrdev1 (replicat) stats in the target machine.
Can someone help me solve this upward.

I get the error in the title with a host Windows 7 x 64 Workstation 7.1.3 and an Ubuntu guest.
I did a sound material change on the host today (audio embedded used instead of the USB sound card), but sound works perfectly well on the host computer.
I had the same problem as well. I have a host 64-bit windows 7 and the quest of Ubuntu running on VMware Workstation 6.5.
After playing with the settings a bit, that's how I managed to do the work. In Ubuntu, open sound preferences:
In the Hardware tab, my profile was set to 'analog stereo Duplex. I changed it to "Analog stereo output" and everything has been resolved. I was able to connect the sound card!
