I hate Windows 8

I decided to update my system HP for Windows 8, because I heard great things about this.  I am very disappointed.  In fact, I hate it!  I want to go back to my original Windows 7 system, but Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, has destroyed the restore on my hard drive partition.  Is there a way I can go back?  I do not if I have to recreate the image on the hard drive that Windows 8 made sure that none of my other deferred programs.  Even after their routine check, said that everything would be port.  Thanks in advance!  Sign me up full of hope.

I can't say with certainty, because I have not worked with Windows 8, but when Windows 7 installs and detects a flow of Windows operating system, it will ask if the user wants to upgrade or do a clean install.  If the user's choice is an upgrade, there will be a folder named windows.old and then install the new OS.  Assuming that Windows 8 is the choice of upgrade has been used, then look inside the windows.old folder to see if any good things is one that would allow the installation of Windows 7 work.

This will show how to look in the folder: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/recover-personal-files-from-windows-old-in-windows-8/

After further research, I think it's going to be the need for a genuine Windows 7 installation DVD and the key, more it's going to be a chore to rid the system of Windows 8 and even to get the Windows 7 installation disc to run.  If you have Windows 8 still in place, please research before you try to go back.  You might be better off find the settings to make Windows 8 appear and act more like Windows 7.  I've only read about them and do not have help about this, sorry.

  • I hate Windows 7 and I want Windows XP back

Original title: I hate Windows 7.

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

I was happy with XP, I want to.  I don't have the choice with this new machine.  I can't find anything, cannot use anything and cannot work even printing a set of labels!  Ridiculous!  I'm a Secretary, for the love of God - why you fix you what wasn't broken?

If you are a Secretary, so it seems that your boss is the one who will decide if you have to use XP or Windows 7. It took me some time to get used to the differences between Windows 7, but now everything is like second nature. It takes time, just stick with it, Windows 7 is far superior to XP.

    Hello

I don't know if you want to go back to Windows 7, or difficulty maybe win 8...

If it is a new machine, you may be able to "Downgrade" by the manufacturer of the computer...

If you want to win 8 behaves more like Win 7, there is an app by Stardock called Start 8...

    It is $ 5 with a 30 day free trial... I think it's great.

For the most part, you will think you are using Win 7, but still be able to use all the features of win 8 If you want to...

I bought envy dv6 with windows8 on and I hate it can I downgrade to windows7 without void my warranty? Can I use the windows drivers 8

    Hello:

As if by chance, there is no info on the page of product for your PC specifications.

I see an AMD 7670 M driver for the video card.

Since I don't see the chipset drivers, I assume that you have an AMD chipset, correct?

I think you can use most of the drivers from the below thread.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-operating-systems-e-g/Windows-7-drivers-for-G7-2246nr/m-p/2190801#M117932

If you encounter a rough sea, just after the ID of the missing devices hardware.

Look in your device manager for the model of the wireless card you have and let know what it is.

I think you can get most, if not all of the hardware for W7 running.

  • I hate windows 8. It is the worst program ever - how do 7 - which I never used.

I have a desktop at home and at work with xp, that I love.  This new hp laptop is great, except for this lousy windows 8, which I hate.  It is difficult to use and did not get more easy with the time.  I would like to go back to xp, but not because of microsoft.  I've never used windows 7, but it happened to be better than this pig.   help (wish I had bought a macbook air)

If it's Pro 8 then there are downgrade rights associated with the supplied license, this does not apply to the base license Windows 8.

Microsoft however do not help in this process that you can not the software from them you will need to source it yourself, but when you come to authenticate you must call the authentication service to get a key.

    About Windows 8... No comment.

  • Computer laptop 15-305dx: I hate windows 10

My laptop is new and has been preloaded with win 10. I want to downgrade to 7. Does anyone do this? All the problems?

    Kat31

Must ask ourselves, if you do not Win10 much, then why did you buy a new laptop with Win10 preinstalled?

Laptops contain especially of specialized equipment for which, for these features, drivers are needed - and these are ONLY from the OEM, in this case, HP. Your PC is preinstalled with Windows 10. If you delete or overwrite the original Win10 on your PC with Win 7, you will encounter serious problems as there are no HP Win7 drivers for new hardware that comes with new machines.

MS provides drivers that provide only the basic features.  This means that the functionality of the material is likely to NOT work if you force a downgrade.  Which includes functions such as the touch pad, graphics swtichable, WiFi, USB ports - to name the functions commonly reported here.

If you want all the features of the machine, you must keep the original version of OS preinstalled.

    Good luck

  • Is there a way I can recover my Outlook Express email. I hate Windows live mail and want to come back to Outlook Express. I have Windows 7.

Is there a way I can recover my Outlook Express e-mail account.  I downloaded Windows Live Mail and don't like it at all.  I can't understand how to add a new contact.

You post in a forum of Vista and Outlook Express last used in XP. If you mean Vista Windows Mail, unless you have removed the account, just open the program and use it. You can remove WLMail whenever you want. It is a part of the programs in the window Live Essentials Control Panel uninstall section.

  • I hate windows 8. How can I uninstall it and loading windows 7

I just bought an HP computer and it came with Windows 8, responsible on this issue. I tried 6 tasks in the past three weeks and each of them was a pain in the thigh. I had problems to the administrator, compatibility issues unique to other tray printer issues and much more. It is simply not worthy of the effort. Should I return the computer and buy a new one with Windows 7, or should I buy a copy of 7 and load it on top of this mess?

You will first need to go to the website of manufacturers for your model computer and first find out if there are native drivers in Windows 7. A large number of computers that are preloaded with Windows 8 have no native driver support for Windows 7 by the manufacturer. If there is no native driver, you will need to consider returning the machine and buying a machine preloaded with Windows 8 Pro with downgrade rights to Windows 7 Professional. Or look through the catalogue of manufacturers for systems already preloaded with Windows 7, usually the business sector will have these options.

  • Satellite C55-A-1R8 - lack of 64-bit Windows 7 drivers

Hi everyone, I need your help guys.
I just bought my new Satellite C55-A-1R8, computer PSCJEE laptop with windows that I hate windows preinstalled to 8.1 and intel cpu onboard, but because n3520 8 I decided to downgrade to the thought of 64-bit windows 7 I'll find all the drivers, but the problem is that there is no driver win 7 for this model of support and I think that I already tried all the others without success.
My usb ports does not work and I can't find the drivers, windows cannot do either.

    My missing drivers:

    Enthernet controller
    PCI encryption/decryption controller
    USB universal serial bus controller
    unknown device (properties said on processor Intel (r) Pentium (r) N and J-series / processor Intel (r) Celeron (r) N - and)

also my bluetooth driver seems to be ok, but I'm not able to install any software of Toshiba bluetooth for win 7.

If somehow I could sort my usb ports would be perfect.

Guys you have ideas where good drivers?

    Thanks in advance!

At first, I must say Hat I just hope that you have created recovery DVD or USB until you started with OS downgrade. Problem is that now after the new operating system installation you will not be able to start the installation of HARD drive recovery image and one day if you want to have the factory settings you can have a big problem.

In any case, I m wondering really you have installed before Win7, check if this older OS is supported or not. You can try now is to install the Win7 drivers available for other models of laptops.
    Try please install follow rivers:
Chipset Intel HM70 River (should help with USB ports)
I put t know for sure if this wll help but try to install please follow drivers LAN and BT:
    Atheros LAN driver LAN
Driver package Bluetooth Filter filter BT
    Bluetooth stack

    Please test and send feedback.

  • HP Pavilion 15-f097nr: drivers HP 15-f097nr Windows 7 64-bit

I bought this HP 15-f097nr and he had installed Windows 8.1. I hate Windows 8, 8.1, 10. I was really disappointed when I looked on Support of Web of Hewlett Packard, and there no 64-bit of Windows 7 drivers, or all the Windows 7 drivers. Of course, I already had nuked the partitions Windows 8.1, installed Windows 7 64 bit Pro on the laptop and had no Wi - Fi, LAN, audio device, USB port or chipset drivers. I've done business with Hewlett Packard for many years, I've lost count. One of the main things I always liked HP, has been their support for their products. With 65% of these people still using Windows 7, I struggle to understand why HP does not support Windows 7 with this product. Could someone please help?

    You are the very welcome.

I guess that the model I posted has older than your hardware.  It may have the same processor, but the G2 250 pilots probably did not contain the material ID's for the same update your hardware.

Then... you're missing even the Intel graphics driver and Realtek ethernet driver?

If so, see if these work instead...

Graphics: Do not click on the most recent version of this driver is available, because it does not support the processor celeron laptop has.
