I have a perpetual license LR 5 and want to download LR 6 trial perpetual license

For the record, I really really do not like this new marketing. I want to own my software, not to rent it. Used to be able to download an evaluation version by clicking on a link and fact. Try it, then buy it or trash it.

I have a perpetual license LR 5.7. I want to download the trial of LR 6 to make sure it works as I want before purchasing a perpetual license upgrade. Now, I spent an hour trying to find the right link to download a trial version of LR 6 At least, I think I have the right link... https://creative.Adobe.com/products/download/Lightroom

Now, he wants me to install the creative Cloud configuration. Does that mean that I would be a subscriber to the creative cloud until I can install same LR 6? If so, who will mess up my existing license of 5.7 LR?

If I decide that I don't want to buy 6.0, can I terminate the subscription of Cloud without paying anything? Can I uninstall the cloud Creative installation files if I buy the perpetual license?

There is no trial for Lightroom 6. The trial you want is to Lightroom CC, if use you it and it does what you want and you decide to buy, then you can convert it to LR 6 and none of the functions creative Cloud. By installing it, you can access the functions creative cloud for 30 days free (of course, you don't have to use the features of Creative Cloud like mobile Lightroom and you can turn it off if that's what you want). And installing it, you have not subscribed to the creative cloud, you use the free trial version. If you decide that you do not want to buy Lightroom 6, then just uninstall the trial.
