  I use acs 4.2 on a windows 2003 server sp2 in my current network. The network has been replaced and I'm a software/windows 2008 Server and build the application. I'm a bit confused as too the available software. The acs software only 5.4 I see is for the appliance and vmware. Is this software available for stand-alone servers is not end of life?  Or can I use acs 4.2 on the stand-alone server and update all the way to 5.4.
