Hi dennis goodwin,.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community Forums.

You have a problem with Google Earth works only on Windows 7. It can be difficult when something that is important to you does not work as expected. It's pretty simple and we're here to help you solve the problem. We work as a team and get this sorted out.

Please answer these questions-

(1) is limited to Google Earth?

(2) did you do changes on the computer before the show?

I would like more information about the issue.

Method 1-

I would have you completely uninstall the program, then download Google Earth.

See the article-

http://www.Google.co.in/Earth/download/GE/

Step 1-

I wish that you put the computer in a clean boot, and then try to install the program.

See the article-

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: You must follow the step 3 of the article to return the computer to a Normal startup after you perform all the troubleshooting steps.

If the problem continues in a State of clean boot this way, go to step 2.

Step 2-

Try to run the program in compatibility mode.

Check out the link-

Make older programs in this version of Windows

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

Method 2-

If none of the suggestions help solve your problem, then I would contact you Google Earth to get help.

Note: this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. How to back up and restore the registry in Windows:

Note: if bad sectors are found by running the check disk utility and if the attempt to recover bad sectors is verified when checking the disk for errors, data in the bad sector might be lost in the attempt to recover bad sectors.
    Method 4:
I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.
The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
Important: when running Scan disk hard if bad sectors are found on the hard drive when parsing tent repair this sector if all available on which data may be lost.

If you install the creative Cloud versions, you will have then two versions of the two. You can uninstall the old ones if you don't need two versions of each, but you must first disable them if you ever want to use them on another computer.

I hope someone can help on Win 7 64 bit, music is taken on a disk usb2 external hard... I had no problem until today when the message in the title appeared next to each track, with a little red cross.

I already deleted database library as suggested by some of the forums, also disabled the media as a feature of Win 7, rebooted and then re-enabled it.  I also disconnected externally and restarted that as well, I'm also the same mistake with a cd in the cd drive as well.

    Can anyone help?

    Hello

This error may occur for one of the following reasons:
The file is currently in use. Close the file and then try again.

You are not allowed to access the location where the file is stored.

Follow these steps to grant all permissions in the folder where the files are stored:
    1. right click on the folder on the external drive and click Properties.
    2. in the Properties window, click on Security tab.
    3. now, click Edit , and then click Add.
    4. now, type everyone in the box and click OK.
    5. check the full control box.
    6. click on apply and then click OK.

You can also try the mentioned below as follows:

    1. click on start.
    2. go in Control Panel.
    3. Select "SOUND".
    4. double-click on speakers.
    5. click on the tab advanced and then uncheck the enable audio enhancements.

The file may be in use, you won't have access to the computer on which the file is stored, or your proxy settings are may not be incorrect. "I can access all the music files via Windows Explorer.  I have to start over with a new password?  Can I just create a new homegroup?  What other options do I have?  You can provide any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

  • When my monitor goes to sleep I can't wake him up by clicking on the mouse. I have to restart the computer to see the monitor

When my monitor goes to sleep I can't wake him up by clicking on the mouse. I have to restart the computer to be able to see the screen.  I tried all turned on and on the screen but when I do it says monitor going to sleep

I assume you are using a desktop computer you are referring to the monitor going to sleep rather than the course of PC to sleep.

1 check the monitor power management & the display adapter in Control Panel, Manager of peripheral and during that control you the mouse power management and make sure that it is likely to be used for anything wake up.

2 in case of failure, then check the monitor & display settings of the adapter to control panel, display.

3 check manual site or the monitor stand, so the settings recommended.

4 then check the settings of the Control Panel, power options, change plan settings change advanced power settings.  In particular, if it is a USB mouse, you may disable settings settings USB, USB selective suspend setting.

  • I have to restart the computer before installing other programs?

When you install a PC I find my self install a program, restarting and doing so over and over again. Is it safe to install a few programs at a time before restart? This would cause problems? A plane ticket, few programs do not ask to reboot once installed, so I usually install a little more to save time and then restart.

It is better to restart after the installation of all programs before installing more just in case where some files take effect to restart.

I also always check to make sure that the program that I installed and running before installing more. By doing this, if you have problems, you will know which program is causing the problem.

  • Is there a option of zoon of the Web pages with Mozilla Firefox, if I have trouble reading the small print?

I take a class any web business, and I can't find a lot of the functions that they speak.

    Hello
Have you tried the Firefox zoom feature? This initiative will increase the size of the web pages.

    • To make things bigger, press Ctrl and + at the same time.
    • To make things smaller, press Ctrl and - at the same time.
    • Pour reinitialiser to reset the size of return to normal, press Ctrl and 0 at the same time.

You can also use the NoSquint add-on to change the zoom level by default for all websites at the same time. After setting your overall zoom level, you can still adjust the zoom on different sites.

    With the help of NoSquint:

    1. After installation of NoSquint, make sure you have the add-on bar displayed:

      • Click the new tab button ("+") or a box empty bar tab to the right of the item and choose the module bar on the shortcut menu.
    2. Click on the % in the bar of the add-on call site preferences, then click the global settings button, then the zoom tab.
      • You can experiment with sizes greater than 125%, but it is not recommended that you will more than 150%, unless you have a large screen high resolution.

If there are sites that are still a concern, feel free to post their URLs.

Please let us know if this helped you!

    Thank you.

  • I have trouble understanding the connections of cable from my computer to the printer of 6700.

I don't know where the USB cable must be connected to the computer.

    Hello jfg59601

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I will do my best to help you with your problem of USB connection. I'll give you the manual for more demonstration: Officejet 6700 manual

As indicated on page 11 (15/224), it has a USB port in the front and the back of the printer. Once you choose that you want to use, just connect it to a USB port on the computer.

    * Please make sure that you do not connect the USB cable to the computer until the software of the printer tells you. This likely mess of will to the top of the installation.

Please let me know your results. Thank you!

  • HAV detection fails after the closure of XP Mode until I have hard restart the computer on Win 7 Pro 64.

I am running Win 7 Pro 64 bit, and I have a number of programs that are not compatible I have to run to work.  I installed XP mode, and the XP mode is running everything is fine.  When I stopped the XP mode, however, I can't reopen the XP Mode without making a hard my computer stop, as the detection of HAV told me that my BIOS is not correctly configured (note, have not changed the BIOS settings, and I've been able to open at this point).  Soft reboots do not seem to solve this problem, so I find myself in front make full tap downs and resets in order to get my settings of the BIOS to read again.  Is this a known problem or there at - it another way, I'm supposed to close out of the XP Mode so that I can still restart it without having to go through all that?

Windows Update has nothing to do with this problem, even if you have upgraded to Win7. • Is it necessary to have PowerShell on the computer?

    Hello.

I use Win XP Prof and IE 8.

I had problems with Windows Update so I run the utility "FixIt" and it solved the problem of Windows Update, but "PowerShell" has been added to my list of program but does not appear in Add/Remove programs.

Can I remove PowerShell or should remain on the list of programs for some reason any?

    Thank you.

Close 'which' out - you lost me.

You said, 'problem solved '.  In this case, the question has been described in this same conversation in this forum itself.  I say that even if you say that your problem is solved, you can also go a little further with the instructions I provided and actually "close" conversation (brand she officially responded.) "

If you do not it is likely that someone else will come along (as they have in many older conversations) and decide * you * what the correct answer to your question was out of answers in the discussion.  If you are well with others decide what has done or has not been used as a response... which is fine too.
