  These drive letter are fixed by dell to store files and data from the system. Made registry changes the drive letter to visible on the computer. In order to make any change that we have to contact Dell technical support for assistance.

  If so, check if your Windows XP is up to date (patches and install MS patches)
  Also install all the drivers available from the Toshiba driver page as:
  Chip Set Utility, Storage Manager, etc. and if there is a newer version of the BIOS, then update.
