  as noted above, the kb2633171 of security update will not install on my computer used windows vista laptop. I had mcafee installed since the first day (it came with the pc).   I checked the Toshiba download page, and it seems that the drivers for Vista are available. Your laptop should have mode number PSAB0. Please visit http://support.toshiba-tro.de > support & download and choose your model of laptop.

  Before you start the installation of Vista, it is recommended to update BIOS first. I did the same thing for friends Satellite A100. After the BIOS update, I was able to install Vista and all the stuff from Toshiba with no problems.
