  To reinstall the filmmaker in XP: -.

  1] you must be logged on as administrator administrator or beneficiary.

  2] now insert your XP CD in the CD-ROM

  [3] start > run > type the following command:

  %SystemRoot%\Inf

  4] click OK to open the INF folder.

  [5] locate the file moviemk.inf

  6] right click on the file and then click on install.

  First thing to check is your trash, bak files that are backups of dbx files, that are made before the compaction.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2 if there is no file bak then your only chance at recovery is DBXpress (www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/) which has an excerpt from disc feature that will analyze the entire hard drive for messages disk clusters and if they are still on the hard drive, it will recover them.

  Thanks Ryan - I already checked my trash but I know what I did today.  I was restore some programs off my 'c' drive using Control Panel, uninstall the application.  When I came across one that I deleted without know what program it was owned by the - weak and this is--I found it is an application used by the Roxio CD/DVD burning and editing program.  So I reinstalled it and voila... his party now.  Thank you for your help.

  How did you accidentally remove it and isn't in the trash for restore you?

  It seems that this file belongs to The Embassy Suite from Wave Systems Corp. and is shipped on some Dell computers.  It is not an XP file and has nothing to do with XP.  What a pity that it knows absolutely nothing about your system (thanks, MS Answers).

  I seriously doubt that the restoration of the system will help you, because this file has nothing to do with XP.  That looks like an engineer of 'expert' technical support which is retained by Microsoft wild goose chase.   Anything for a reply with a link to a KB article...

  I do not have this software, but it seems that you might be able to download and reinstall from the site WWW Dell here.

  If you are not sure and that the download is not look right, you could post a message in the forums of Dell support or wave of support.

  There is no file in Windows XP.  This file was probably part of a virus or spyware infection that has been partially removed. Run a full scan for virus/spyware.  If the problem persists, use the free Windows Sysinternals Autoruns tool to find and remove the reference to the file.

  Just a hunch.  "ig75icd64.dll" is the driver intel HD graphics.  That should narrow down your search.  You may need to reinstall/day (or if it has just updated - then push) that this driver.
