  • lost my mail icon in my taskbar

    widows or microsoft outlook mail [forgotten who] was on the taskbar - I took the (unconsciously) and now can get it back? Where can I find it? Help please

    Hi Tom,

    You should be able to try one of the two options:

    (1) If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7, you can click on the start menu and search for the email client you use (if you search for the term "mail" should help, you will find the program)

    2.) you can also go to the following location c:\program files (or c:\program (x 86)) to search for the folder of the program that you were using.

    Once you have found the program, you should be able to copy a shortcut to the original location.

  • started to get it sounding like the comments of my speakers and computer crashes

    Yesterday, I started to have this sound as feedback from my speakers. Unfortunately, it's more that that because my computer hangs up, almost like a hiccup, at the same time, the feedback is coming through my speakers.  Any ideas?

    Don't know if she was wrong in safe mode because my audio does not work. I have since solved the problem to restore my computer to 02/12/2010. It must have been one of the updates that were come across.  Everything works fine. These same updates require to be installed again, but I postponed every three months. I'll look more closely at any future ones.

    Thanks for your suggestions/help.
  • What is the cause of the sound after the restart of a computer and pressing SHIFT with any key.

    Whenever I restart my computer, I hear a noise. This happens when I press the SHIFT key with any key. the sound is heard only once. I've not heard this noise before. I use Vista SP2 in HP

    Hi shield - I.

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. what kind of sound you hear when you restart the computer?

    It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

    I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  • Sound of the buzzing/stutters during playback and music or video

    I've had this laptop for a few weeks now, and since I was a strange humming noise every time I play music or watch a video.

    It seems as if the music made a break of about one second and made a HUMMING noise while doing so, then continues with music. It happens throughout the song/video.

    I've updated all the audio drivers a lot of times as well as the graphics drivers, I can't update the chipset drivers as there is no new still

    The strange thing, I found comparing my laptop to a friend, is that in my DEVICE MANAGER there are 4 high definition Audio devices shown Realtek + Bluetooth hands-free. I tried unistalling these so alone is there, but this does not solve the problem.

    I have:

    Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

    Realtek High Definition Audio

    NVIDIA GeForce 310M

    Chipsets Intel 5

    Thanks in advance =)

  • The WAP1.1 of TELUS and TCP network connections settings

    Hi all

    To give a bit of background.  I'm consuming a Web service on the client side, MDS really works, but I'm trying to force the other connection methods.

    (1) does anyone know the settings WAP1.1 and TCP of Telus Mobility?  I called them and they were able to provide TCP settings, but when I try it does not connect.  (gives a timeout or unable to connect error)

    (2) do you know if Telus supports WAP2.0?

    (3) I tried to use the following additions to the query string to connect in different ways to the webservice.

    MDS:

    _url + ";deviceside=false";

    WAP2.0:

    //get the service book records and iterate to find uid
    uid = records[i].getUid();
    //bunch of stuff
    _url + ";ConnectionUID=" + uid;

    TCP:

    _url + ";deviceside=true;apn=tmix.imc.is;tunnelauthusername=" + Phone.getDevicePhoneNumber(false) + "@1x.telus.mobility.com;tunnelauthpassword=" + DeviceInfo.getDeviceId();

    If anyone can shed some light on what I do wrong or give some WAP1.1/TCP settings I would appreciate it.  I think I went through all the posts and a large number of articles in the knowledge base.

    Thank you
    Matt

    The service on my device record is also "WAP2 trans" also.  You must also put "deviceside = true" in the URL, so it must:

    http://someurlhere.com;deviceside=true; ConnectionUID = WAP2 trans

    I lost my start icon in my taskbar. It can not open my programs. How can I return the icon start? Thank you

    Try pressing the keys on your keyboard, or Ctrl + ESC.

  • G6-1b70us Pavilion. Picture but no sound from the tv when you use HDMI. Worked without problem.

    I have a pavilion g6-1b70us I'm trying to connect my TV with an hdmi cable.  I get a picture but no sound.  Previously, this worked without problems.  When I shoot to the top of my reading of the sound settings, the only options are speakers and the headphones.  When I shoot to the top of my devices, the Samsung TV is there, but it is described as a "generic monitor" (thinking it was weird).  I have uninstalled and reinstalled my intel graphics driver and IDC audio driver but still no sound through TV.  Also, I will mention that in sub control panel > sounds and devices there is a link to the SRS Premium Sound technology.  As you can see in the image below, the Samsung device is, but it is greyed out and cannot be selected. Can someone please?

    Well in case anyone is interested I have solved the problem (only took me 12 hours to understand, lol).  Apparently, even if the Samsung TV did not appear in the audio options, you can still right click in the empty box and a toggle option will appear.
